Consistently enjoying a new variety of pizza every time and not having to pay an arm and a leg for having one extra topping like every other pizza place does. I can make whatever style pizza I want this with as many different varieties of toppings they have.

Get the magic dust! This place is awesome. It’s a set price for whatever pizza and toppings you want. If only subway was like this. They have a great starter menu for the people who don’t know what to create and includes the typical margarita set up as well as a veggie option. After they put the toppings on your pie it runs through a conveyor type oven for 5mins(hence the name) and it’s ready to go! Another plus is that they serve alcohol(bottled, not full bar). It’s not the cheapest but it’s affordable if you want a beer along with your pizza. It’s kept very clean and the staff is always very friendly. Will return again and again.

We checked out this place while we were visiting Dallas on business. It one of those quick serve individual pizza place. Since we already ordered one of the pre-set topping choices, I’m not sure whether you can just pick and choose your own toppings. The place is convient. Pizza comes out in 3 min. Their pizza and salad combination make it a very nice quick lunch place. The pizza is OK, don’t expect to taste like a goumet fire oven pizza. But again, the biggest selling point is if you need to grab something fast.

Pie Five is the perfect place to get a well-portioned, individual lunch pizza! Get your expectations in check before going — this is not a place to get a huge pizza to share between a large group. It’s the Chipotle of individual-sized pizzas, with the addition of having some pre-named pies you can choose from. The Five Star pizza with added jalapenos never disappoints! I’ve tried the Classic Pan and Italian Herb Thin crusts and have enjoyed both. Adding the Magic Dust is a must! Add whatever you want to your pizza, and it will always be $ 6.49! That’s a pretty good deal to kill a pizza craving without overindulging and having the temptation of eating ¾ of 14″ pizza. You can also add a side salad or a delicious-looking slice of cookie pie. I haven’t tried the dessert pies yet, but they sure do stare at me while I’m at the register… I’m sure I will cave eventually. Additionally, service has been awesome every time we’ve been there. Great staff!

The reviews I’ve read are pretty interesting for Pie Five. First, let’s all understand one thing… this is fast food pizza. If you try to compare it to Campisi’s, Pastazio’s or any other place where you can sit down and order a pizza, it’s like comparing apples and oranges. It’s not the same thing and it’s not meant to be the same thing. Now think about fast food instead. To compare it to Chipotle or Subway I think should be clarified that it is in concept only to compare here as well. If I were rating about food quality between the three, Pie Five is definitely closer to the Chipotle level than Subway. Now on to the food. I ordered the Hatch Chile Pie. It had loads of green Hatch Chiles, red onions, Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese and a spicy red pepper sauce. The only things I added were mushrooms and magic dust. Also used the red chili flakes and the green seasoning(forget what it was called) that was at the table. Personally I thought the pizza was good for a fast food pizza. Definitely better than anything I’ve had that was microwaved, so I’m not sure why people keep saying microwave pizza is better. You can customize the pizza in any way you want all for the same price, also an added bonus. I say give it a try. You’ll either like it or not. I would suggest that if you don’t like it, at least try to be fair in a review. And if you don’t want to pay more than $ 5.00 for an individual pizza, maybe you shouldn’t be eating out in a restaurant. Just a thought. Happy eating!

The best way to describe Pie Five: the pizza version of a Chipotle. We got a few BOGO coupons in the mail and stopped in for a quick lunch. You can either get one of their specialty pies or build your own pie — from the crust type(signature thin or classic pan) and sauces to the meats, cheeses, and all of the toppings. Either way the pie costs $ 6.49. For the specialty pies you can substitute or add on any toppings without a charge, and for the build your own you can choose as many toppings as you want. The pizza cooks in 5 minutes! I got the Green Hatch Chile on classic pan the first time and added mushrooms, and thought it was tasty enough to come in for a second time. I built my own pizza the second time and decided to get the spicy marinara sauce, pulled pork, red onions, mushrooms, and jalapenos. The pulled pork is a little eh — so I wouldn’t recommend it, but the spicy marinara actually has somewhat of a kick. I’m a fan of the classic pan crust, but the husband likes the signature thin. Either way — I think everyone can find some sort of combination that they’ll like. Be sure to get the magic dust!

The marinara sauce can be a bit bland but the concept alone has me sold on this place. The family also loved it!

This is my second time having pizza at pie five. I’m not really a fan. This time i picked the chipotle chicken pizza and had a better experience. The trick is to get more toppings so you don’t taste the cardboard dough and sub-par tomato sauce. The nice parts of the pie five experience is the ability to experiment and add lots of toppings and your own creative flair. It’s a nice twist if you’re looking for something different in pizza. Oh go with the magic dust; it’s a parmesan garlic powder type mix. They don’t tell you what’s in it but it does make the pizza less sucky. I’m glad the company paid for this meal. I definately wouldn’t want to.

I decided to stop in here one day after getting tired of the same old thing for lunch everyday. I love their concept: a Subway-style make-your-own pizza bar, with an abundance of great and fresh toppings to choose from, and two different crust styles, as well. The pizza literally cooks in 5 minutes, and is perfect. Never over or undercooked. The taste is about what I would expect from a quality pizza place… I do love the«magic dust» that they sprinkle on the pizza(I think it’s grated cheese with Italian herbs of some kind). This is a far better option that going to any place where pizzas sit on a warmer! At least here they are made to order and piping hot! Definitely a great place to go for lunch, or a pizza quick fix. And at $ 8.00 and some change for a personal pizza and a drink, the price is right, too! Now, if only they’d get some fresh basil and offer it as a topping… ;-)

Pie Five Pizza is a great place to go on a budget and for lunch. All pizzas are $ 6.49! You can build your own or go with one they list on the board. I had more of a traditional pizza with pepperoni and sausage. My friend had one with artichoke hearts. The ingredients are fresh and the pizza is made while you wait in line. All pizza are personal size which I found small, so I had a side cesar for $ 1.99 to go with it. The inside is a cool urban-modern look. It is a good for a quick inexpensive lunch but don’t expect the best pizza you ever had.

This is my new favorite pizza joint! Create your own pizza to your liking and BAM! It’s ready ;) The real plus is they carry Cholula Hot Sauce too!

Well, I guess it’s time for me to turn in my foodie card and move to the suburbs! I actually was really pleased with my pizza at Pie Five! We needed something quick and this fit the bill perfectly. Others have done a good job explaining the setup – it is exactly like a Chipotle or a Subway for pizza. My friend had the chicken carbonara pizza and added diced tomatoes upon the pizza lady’s suggestion. I had the Athenian but switched out the chicken for pork sausage, added a bit of marinara sauce to the garlic alfredo sauce, and added spinach as well. Seriously, not bad Pie Five! The crust is kind of a crispy cracker texture – not a lot of flavor on its own but the toppings added plenty of that. There are a ton of options, I enjoyed both the white sauce only and the white/red combo… not sure what the marinara tastes like on its own. All the ingredients were fresh; my Athenian even had fresh shredded herbs and a sundried tomato basil drizzle on top. So yeah… don’t go comparing it to everyone’s favorites(and uh, don’t tell Jay Jerrier I gave this place four stars) but it’s a pretty cheap and fun concept to get your own individual pizza with whatever you want on it and no compromising with your friends! I’d say give it a try… you might not like it but you’ll only be out a few bucks… or you might be like me and be pleasantly surprised!

Great concept especially for families or people on the go. You can create your own personal sized pizza for about $ 7. There are several sauce and topping options to choose from to create your own but there are also«menu» pizzas that someone spent time creating. If you don’t want to create your own them definitely get the Athena. Whatever you do, be sure to get magic dust sprinkled on your pizza after it comes out of the oven. yes that’s a real thing!
