Pamper Me Spa Lounge

Comfortable place and the owner is sweet. I first learned about this place on Great Groupon Now and had a great mani/​pedi. I don’t think she’s doing that deal any more as I haven’t seen it in a while. She books up so call early!

Michelle and her staff are very friendly and welcoming; however, I probably will not return.
I went to Pamper Me Spa with a group of girlfriends and emailed ahead of time to see if they would be able to accommodate all seven of us; I was reassured that they could. Three of us had purchased Groupons earlier this year but had not yet used them. I did not have trouble booking an appointment.
The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and my friends and I had fun; however, our actual manicures and pedicures were not done well, and there wasn’t much in the way of «pampering». I was a little surprised when we arrived to find that the «spa» only accommodated two customers at a time, as the pictures online had suggested a larger facility. None of the pictures on the website’s gallery appear to have been taken on location. The seven of us had to wait as the staff attended to two of us at a time. This took a lot longer than we had expected. I do appreciate that, in order to accommodate us, the staff stayed later than their posted hours of operation.
Many of my friends complained that although the technicians cleaned and scrubbed their feet, they did not remove any calluses, and the quality of the pedicures was such that we could have easily done the same for each other in one of our own homes. One of my friends was even injured and bled when the technician cut the skin of her toe while cutting her toenails.
My manicure was rough; my nails were not shaped or cut, and my cuticles remained in the same state as when I arrived, just under the polish, which chipped within 24 hours. I have already had to redo my own manicure completely. The other two ladies in my party who received manicures seemed satisfied with them.
If we only wanted to hang out with our girlfriends and meet some new people, this would have been a worthwhile experience; we certainly enjoyed ourselves. As far as getting a mani/​pedi, however, I’ve had better.

sorry but i won’t be going back. the lady there is super nice and would love to support her new business but i just can’t. it was easy enough for me to make an appt but parking sucks since it’s street parking. she seemed to know what she’s doing and i don’t usually pay attention to what’s going on but from now on i will. i asked for french and 1 of my nails wasn’t cleaned up so the white of the french was just like she put it on! altho i got shellac within 2 days it was peeling off.

Goodness, where to begin? I discovered Pamper Me Spa Lounge through Groupon, and purchased a deal. It took weeks to schedule an appointment, I left several messages that were never returned, and was only able to finally secure an appointment after contacting Groupon to ask for my money back. On one hand the «spa» offers personalized attention, as I was the only customer there. However, my nails started chipping the very next day, and a few days later I had to remove the polish completely; whereas normally I get 1 — 1.5 weeks out of a manicure. Furthermore, the «spa» lacks actual nail salon facilities — there are no pedicure chairs and you instead dunk your feet into a giant bowl on the rug; and even more disappointing was the lack of nail dryers — after painting your nails you have to either risk ruining them right away, or wait around for a bit for them to dry. For the cost, there are several other options in the area that offer friendly, more expedient and professional services.

I purchased a Groupon for Pamper Me Spa Lounge and attempted to schedule immediately when I read that there were over 1000 purchased. As mentioned in many of the reviews, I had a difficult time scheduling but Michelle did in fact return my phone call.
I purchased the sugar scrub mani/​pedi option. Michelle does not have a traditional setup for pedicures and instead opts for a large stainless steel tub. She did a great job on my feet and was more than forgiving when I bumped my freshly painted toenails. The manicure was excellent and my cuticles were not picked to hell. Michelle was very friendly and warm and the individualized attention was nice.
The one-​woman show status of this business seems to be hindering this spa lounge in the customer service department. It prevents her from promptly returning phone calls and on top of that, appointment availability is very limited. She also had to take multiple personal phone calls during the appointment, which didn’t bother me terribly but could put off some customers.
Her services are very much worth it if you can manage to get an appointment.

NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS WOULD I GO TO THIS PLACE.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. And I haven’t even been inside the place.
I bought the Groupon for a mani-​pedi about a month ago. Over the past WEEK, I have e-​mailed Pamper Me three times and called twice just to try to schedule an appointment. The first time I called, I left a voicemail and their voicemail message said that they would return my call within 24 hours. Never heard back.
I called again yesterday — the woman answered and said she was with a client and that she would have to call me back. I tried explaining that I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment for almost a week. She asked for my name, seemed to recognize it, and said she would call me back in ten minutes. I never received a phone call back.
Their inattentiveness to «customer service» is ridiculous. Why even run a Groupon if they can’t honor the deal? Also, if they’re that bad at responding to e-​mails and calls, I can only imagine what the quality of their nail services is like.

My nails look worse after leaving this place than they did when I entered it. Although the staff was friendly, the services provided were subpar utilizing sub par materials and skill. The place is essentially a hole-​in-​the-​wall. It has no air conditioning and only two chairs for the customers getting pedicures that look like they were from a garage sale. The prices are decent but you don’t even get what you pay for. I used a groupon and got my $$ back from them.

Well… first I have to be honest, I never really had had a mani or pedi but I bought a Groupon for Pamper Me Spa after reading the reviews on here.
I LOVE IT!
I received lots of compliments on my pretty little toes and fingers.
Michelle is AWESOME! So friendly and made me feel right at home.
They do not use the spa chairs — they use large sanitzied silver bowls and Michelle is very conscious of everything being sterilized and clean.
The place is quaint. I like it because you are not playing the staring game with other patrons like you would be at a chain salon.
I made another appointment before I left my appointment and getting a color change today. I’ve found my new spa!

OK I just moved to downtown from the sticks and was looking for an new place to get my hands and feet taken care of for a guy this can be an ominous task I have been going to the same place for pedicures for 5 + years so this is not something I know how to shop for. You can look on Unilocal, Google or just drive around most places look the same filled with rows of chairs walls of polish no where a guy wants to walk in and just roll the dice on getting taken care of most places unless they are the snob male only joints don’t even want to serve you I’m not looking to play a game of pool or spend a couple hundred bucks. I saw a Groupon a month or so back for «Pamper Me Spa Lounge» did not buy but the name stuck in my head so when I went to Google they showed up a few blocks from the house I drove by its in a old warehouse store front so I thought it was the kind of place I was looking for. I called for an appointment spoke to a very friendly Michelle on the phone ask about a late appointment she was very accommodating we had a next day Friday 5:30 appointment we were met at the door greeted by name and lead thru the small but eclectic front room to a large room in the back that contained 2 large comfortable chairs a small nail station a few shelves. The walls were covered with art work, Adel was playing in the back ground the room definably reflected the owner’s personality. Not a spa chair in site, no dermal drill hanging from the ceiling, no bright lights, no screaming children I’m thinking I’m in the wrong place I looked at my companion lifted my eyebrows and smile thinking Oh well. As she’s taking a seat and being offered a glass of wine (which I declined) but I was assured next time my favorite beer would be chilled and ready to drink. After being seated out comes a large stainless bowl of very warm water for me to soak in as Michelle sits down I’m wondering how this is going to go. The stones in the bottom of the bowl were great to rub your feet across mixed with the sea salt after soaking a few minutes and some great conversation with Michelle and Kimo who was taking care of my companion I got a fantastic pedicure no rush she was careful and did an excellent job asking the length of nail to cut and not assuming anything. Personal service is something you don’t come across every day any more it was like sitting and talking to a friend then she did my manicure I ask about the dermal and how she would remove the callus without one she said OLD SCHOOL and went to work the result was no burns on my finger tips nice neat and perfectly trimmed nails. If you’re looking for a great pedicure and manicure this is the place

I absolutely love this SPA. Service was friendly and attentive. Mrs. Michelle is so professional and welcoming. My appointments started promptly (huge bonus in this city) — I have been twice and loved both experiences. My French Mani is the perfect thickness (I hate when the manicurist makes my nails look super short by not thinning the white polish)! The hot rock pedicure was phenomenal. This is my new home spa. The selected wine was good and something the owner would drink herself. I also got my eyebrows thread — loved it! Impressed doesn’t begin to explain my first and second impression of this spa lounge.

–Hate when people answer the phone «um.Hello» and you have to ask if this is the business you are trying to call…
–If you buy a groupon, call first they are not open till 7 like groupon says
–lady said she would call me back if I could get an appt that day, never called back now I have to wait for refunded from groupon– Hassle!
–rather just spend the 10 – 20 dollars more on a more organized place that offers more than «just a soak in beads»
–I will stick to Hawaiian Nails spa, a pedicure is easily over a hour long, great people and always love my nails. and always leave drunk.

Awesome experience! Excellent day after fighting 12 tornadoes. The establishment is cute, quaint, and so serene. The coffee was awesome, and the extras was well worth the trip. Gonna go back and pick up some accessories and maybe even a dress. Thanks for an awesome experience Michelle.

I used my $ 25 Groupon for a manicure/​pedicure, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This is a small place, on the very end of Main in Deep Ellum, right before Exposition Avenue. It is not your typical chain salon, there were no large massage chairs with hydro-​foot baths. It is a small room with a soothing atmosphere created by lighting, the comforting sound of a water fountain, and the attitudes of the women who run this place. i had the feeling it was owned and operated by one of the women who stopped by. I was greeted at the front desk, and then directed into the «salon» where I was again greeted with a very cheerful «Hello Miss _​_​_​», and then introduced to Yolanda, who did both my pedicure and manicure. Allow time for them to be done separately, I went assuming someone would be doing my nails at the same time as me feet, like other salons in Dallas. Now that I’ve had it this way, the other way feels more like a pit stop tire change than a relaxing spa experience! Yolanda soaked my feet in a large bowl of perfectly heated water with little beads in the bottom, while I sat back in a chair with a massage pad strapped around it. Again, it’s not the high-​end typical salon with the expensive equipment, but I really like this place. My nails were done perfectly, and I feel like my $ 25 mani/​pedi was equal to or superior to combos that I have paid $ 60 for. I recommend, and will go back.
