Overpriced. Went in there a few months ago to purchase a candle that I knew they sold there and couldn’t find anywhere else… The girl working there said she’s trying to sell a new line of candles and will bring back my candle soon. Fast forward to today… Went back and asked the same girl the same question and she gave me attitude. Don’t waste your time, all the cute stuff they sell can be found online for cheaper.

Just a typical Friday stroll of Bishop Arts and I came upon this lovely little gem of a shop. This store has so much to look at. Jewelry, furniture, cards, artwork all kinds of knick-​knacks for you to enjoy.
We were greet by one of 2 of the cutest Brussels Giffons I’ve ever scene. I could have spent hours in this place which the owners were so cool and never bothered anyone in the store. I tried out some chairs, read some signs, looked at necklaces and key chains and I know I still didn’t see everything. It’s okay I will look longer the next time in the area.
When you’re in the area and want to walk off your breakfast, lunch or dinner I would suggest you make a stop in the Neighborhood, you’ll be glad you did, you can quote me on that.

If you have an eye for design, or if you are an art enthusiast, you dig unique lil treasures and such… or if you are looking to furnish your legit new pad with some equally legit furniture and such, then you’re gonna want to land here. {neighborhood} is one of the most hip spots in Bishop Arts, (and possibly in Dallas… don’t tell *Brooch that due to ego issues) Erin and PJ have done an amazing job making you feel at home when you walk in. It doesn’t give off that pretentious «I’m not cool enough to be in here» vibe at all, in fact I think once those curious peek their heads in the door… they ultimately want to browse the whole thing.

So yeah, from incredible local art, to vintage/​modern furniture design, one-​offs, incredible (and our fav) Read Between The Lines prints, to books and other various things that I believe change quite a bit… you just have to drop by {neighborhood} and see what all the haps is about.

For all interior design enthusiasts and those looking for some design service, Neighborhood is your go to store. You can get great little accessories, cards, wall art, and other great knick knacks. My favorite part about this store is the amount of amazing local artwork scattered corner to corner on the walls. There is even an additional small hallway for you to check it out.
I’m not sure what full services are available for interior design but it appears that the owners of Neighborhood come and meet with you. You can probably find more information just by meeting with one of the nice people working there.
I absolutely recommend coming by to either get gifts or just to browse the cool jewelry, read books, and purchase art.
And to totally stress that support for local art is always greatly appreciated.

Where has this store been? Where in the heck have I been?! This store is the embodiment of what is going on in my brain at all times. Just a big ball of random fabulousness with a Brussels Griffon to boot.
My coworkers and I decided to hit up Tillman’s for lunch and decided to walk around a bit afterwards. We ended up in Neighborhood, and I can’t tell you how excited I was with everything. There’s so many little fashionable but still one of a kind feelings accessories for the office or home and a ton of different, really cool books. I personally love for things to be beautiful and as random as possible. A prime example is the porcelain looking skull with gold teeth. Like seriously, why WOULDN’T I want that?! I also loved that I was able to get a couple of things to bring my personality even more into my office like the cork board stick pins. This is also the type of place that I would say is perfect for getting friends eclectic, cool gifts, plus the price points are excellent! I was really pleased with the customer service we received (acknowledgement while still hands off), and seriously, the Brussels Griffon in there was so stinking cute that I was hoping he had a price tag so I could take him home. I definitely plan to shop here again and hopefully others will too. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of working with someone at Neighborhood. I bought one item and made a custom order for two other items, which the salesperson was extremely helpful with. Later that day, I had to cancel the custom order and that same salesperson was extremely gracious and accommodating.
I would absolutely recommend shopping there. Wonderful selection and service!
