I love this little gallery. Its door is always open, and unlike other galleries I’ve visited, I always feel welcome to browse without the pressure to purchase. Somehow, whenever we visit, there are ALWAYS new works of art to see! I don’t know if that means they sell out quickly or they’re really good at maintaining variety, but we know whenever we go that there will be something new and gorgeous. And every painting in this gallery is truly gorgeous – bright and colorful and full of life. The space itself is completely white; white walls, floors and ceilings, which really works to complement the bright colors of the art. You can purchase original works, and also prints. They also sell B.A.D. brand candles and some really lovely jewelry. Often there is a work space in the back of the store, and you can watch one of the artists at work on a huge canvas. Usually things are out of my price range, but if ever I’m in the market for some gorgeous original art by a local artist, this is my first stop.

Ginger’s work is subdued, «quiet», which is a great juxtaposition against some of the other more vivacious works highlighted here from other artists.

As a new transplant to Dallas, I recently discovered the Bishop Arts District and it’s wonderful array of galleries, boutiques, eclectic shops and eateries. But the Ginger Fox Gallery was a true find! Owner Ginger Fox and her assistant have the most welcoming, lovely art gallery I have visited in a very long time. Ginger is so engaging, open and an awesome resource for all things Bishop Arts. Her artwork is stunning and she offers a wonderful variety of styles from magical realism to lusciously painted abstracts. The gallery also features works of other local artists, adding to the diverse and well selected collection.
