This place is good and has super fast delivery! It’s definitely not the best Thai in Dallas but it’s still pretty good. They have competitive prices considering they are located in downtown and their delivery is stellar. My favorite is the chicken fried rice and veggie egg rolls. This is one of our weekly go to for delivery. Highly recommend

Quite possible the worst service I have ever had anywhere ever. There is one waitress in the entire restaurant serving 14 tables. I am not exaggerating one itty-bitty bit. I give it two stars because the food was great. I love hot food, and the extra hot was hotter than what I’d expect for a downtown joint, but still the taste was great. The waitress said the other server was delivering food. I had to walk up front to ask for water. Prob won’t come back unless my Thai lust is strong and I’m again in a hotel 1 block away.

Always good food, both at the restaurant and delivery. I usually get the pot stickers, a bowl of Tom Yum or Kha and a curry.

I’ve been here 3 times with never a bad experience. Variety, quality, kind staff and lovely décor make it one of my favorite places to eat in Dallas. If you love Thai food, you must try this one!

If you love Thai Food, Naga won’t disappoint. I’m also a fan of spicy. Very spicy in fact. Naga gives you a choice of 1 to 4 on the spicy scale and I of course ordered the four. It was nuclear hot and I was in heaven. Great food, so many rich and sometimes floral flavors with big portions. And they will bring the heat if you’re brave enough!

The three star review may be misleading, i think the food here is absolutely wonderful. However, the rating comes from the inconsistency that is the lunch buffet, which is the best deal in town. Great, inexpensive buffet, especially for being the heart of Victory Park, but they seem to yank the buffet at random times, which is frustrating if you plan on walking over there.

LUNCHBUFFETREVIEW: It’s no secret that I love Thai food — half my Unilocal reviews are for Thai joints. So I half drove, half ran here for the $ 11 lunch buffet. There were only a few business lunchers still eating when I arrived around 1pm, but buffet was consistently replenished until ~2pm. Great variety of food on the buffet — including appetizers, soup, salad, curries, noodles, and rice. Pleased to see brown rice was included! Favorite items were the pad thai and sweet and sour chicken(which tastes like general tso’s v2.0). The panang curry was a bit different than expected — had peas/carrots/green beans and was a bit watery — but was still flavorful. Service was friendly and extremely attentive. My water glass was immediately replenished every time it became less than half full. I was forewarned before the buffet would be dismantled at 2pm and asked if I wanted any items from the kitchen. Bonus: I got to hear«Genie in Bottle» for the first time in years! Large free parking lot(2 hour limit) right next to the restaurant. Bottom Line: 5 stars across the board — for value, service, and taste of food. Will definitely be returning. Check out the lunch buffet!

A fine establishment that plays Britney Spears and Nysnc? Sign me up. Obviously a great date spot. I was there with a large group. The service was great. My water was refilled after every sip! I ordered the green curry at medium heat. I like to sweat when I eat Thai so I asked for additional spice. It was wonderful! Light and flavorful! Big portion!

Naga Thai Kitchen & Bar is a Thai restaurant in Victory Plaza that gives diners an option if you’re looking Asian(Thai) cuisine. It’s a good option, but I wouldn’t say it’s the one of the better options for Thai cuisine. My Overall Rating — 2 Stars(Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere — I hope the lunch crowd is busy, but in all honesty the atmosphere was a bit empty. There is sidewalk seating, a bar, and plenty of mixed seating. The inside is clean with some elements of various Asian accents, but I couldn’t help noticing that on a weekday night we were the only patrons. Nobody likes to dine in an empty room. ½ Star. Service — And while we were the only patrons, I can’t say the service was the best. I don’t blame them, I would not want them to be overly helpful just because we were the only ones. They were friendly and helpful, but unnecessarily delayed with simple requests(chopsticks, our bill, etc.). ½ Star. Food — Have you ever dined at a restaurant, thought the meal was good, but then you completely forgot about the meal? That happed with me at Naga Thai. I had to go through my phone to recall what I ate. So the highlights included a coconut shrimp that was crispy, sweet, but only came four to an order leaving me wanting more. The Papaya Salad(crab added), was fresh, spicy, but although we added crab, it was nowhere to be found except little crab legs. So salad = good, additions = bad. The green curry is a safe bet, so if you want curry that’s the path you should take. But like I said, this was a good but forgettable meal. ½ Star. Will I Return? — Only if I’m in the area and the party I’m with REALLY wants Thai. While I wouldn’t be opposed, I just don’t think Naga Thai would be my final destination when it comes to Thai cuisine in Dallas. ½ Star. My Unilocal Rating Scale(Sum of all parts): 1 Star — Atmosphere — Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I’ll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star — Service — You can have a great meal with bad service. But that’s also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It’s important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars — Food — I’ll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it’s really all about the food. 1 Star — Will I come back? — If I know for a fact I’ll return, I’ll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food(2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Unilocal score.

Dinner on a Thursday night with Michael N., Derek, and Yuxiao, and the place was super empty~ Naga’s interior is pretty and a little fancy, which totally clashed with the music they were playing(«What does the fox say?» *random howling and onomatopoeia* haha~). Service was super attentive– thankies nice guy refilling our water glasses 28482 times, but food was solid, nothing amazing. I like to cling to my Thai curries but decided to branch out slightly to the Yellow Curry Flat Noodles. It’s hard to go wrong with stir fried flat noodles, but it’s difficult to make them stand out too~ It had a sweet curry taste, but nothing that I will remember I a few days. But whether chicken or beef, Naga knows how to make its meat tender and flavorful! It’s a ever so slightly pricey for what you get($ 12 for a mediocre plate), especially since I think their noodles taste pretty much the same as the more casual Thai2Go near the medical area. They have a lunch buffet for under $ 11, so I bet that would be better to check out. Otherwise, Naga is a Thai fusion restaurant, and if I ever come back for dinner, I’ll be sure to try something fusion-y!

Was very pleasantly surprised with this place! They delivered fast and during the recent ice storm. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted fresh. We ordered the Tum-Kha Soup(medium spicy) Jade Fried Rice(hot spicy), and Green Curry(also hot spicy). Like previous reviewer Juan, P., we did NOT have the Groupon, but even we had, I doubt it that it would cause us to leave a poor review due to the fact that we don’t take issue with leaving gratuity(which, by the way, 20% is considered the modern standard…) Anyway, unless you have a problem with tipping for discounted services, check this place out. Great food.

Came here for the first time despite the mediocre review. I was very impressed and intend to return again soon. The location is great, atmosphere is nice. Had the chicken fried rice and some spring rolls. Everything was amazing. I have eaten at many many Thai places and the fried rice at this place was one of my favorite. Let me also say I did NOT have a groupon therefore they did not add the tip to my bill. Everyone who complains about that and rates them poorly only because of that should be understanding. Most people who consume $ 50 of food but only pay $ 25 seem to have a hard time realizing they should tip on the full check.(Or they don’t tip at all) Besides it says it on the menu! Get over it people. The food is great.

First of all, I’ve had a lot of thai food, and usually from the same places based on the fact that I’m extremely allergic to peanuts and I know that they have yet to mess my order up, so I’m a repeat customer. DONOTPANIC! This is not a «blowfish face» allergic reaction horror story. I was honestly very interested in trying a new place, and elated that I’ve found more that deliver. Secondly, I feel that you should know… I’m the annoying person that inspects their food. Anything that doesn’t belong, or looks remotely questionable and I will not eat it. With that being said, I ordered one of my «go to» thai dishes, Tom Kha Gai soup. Something about the bite of the lemongrass, the creaminess of the coconut milk, and the earthy mushrooms and bright sweet tomatoes… I’ve had dreams about this soup. This Tum Kha was no where near that soup of dreams. My chicken was undercooked, very pink, still somewhat jello-esque. Almost as it was thrown in as a last minute addition? As much as I really wanted to take a sip, I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. I’m a fan of the soup, not food poisoning. Honestly, I was so disappointed by the soup that the rest of my order is somewhat an afterthought. I ordered the Four Seasons Roll, and all of the veggies tasted as if they had not been washed. So one bite was taken, the rest wasted. I also ordered the Ginger Dish with veggies which was subpar at best. I asked for medium spice and I don’t feel that there was much, if any spice to it. Ginger was not the first thing that I tasted. I feel that when ginger is the most prominent ingredient that it should really punch your tastebuds! In conclusion, yes, I had to go the boring route to round this one out… the meal was that lackluster… I was very disappointed to have spent $ 30 to only have eaten $ 12 of it. Only highlight, delivery service was friendly and prompt. Unfortunately, that doesn’t save my food from my trash can.

Fast friendly service. Decore is calm and settled, deemed ligths, very romantic. Spacious and clean location. Order the mojito. Not bad but had best, they seem to use syrup instead of brown sugar. Appetizers, coconut shrimp, the where over toasted and oily the edemame was just ok. For my main dish I order the spicy noodles, very tasty and spicy, if you like spicy this is the way to go. Plate was large.

Excellent Thai food. We’ve been here twice now(and that’s saying a lot, we try not to repeat restaurants in a city filled with so many great ones). It helps that we live very close by and can just walk over whenever we’re craving some Thai. Great atmosphere, prompt and helpful service, delicious food. I recommend the Black Noodle.

No point in using your groupon here. They will charge you an extra 18% which means your groupon is pretty much useless. Food is tasteless. I’d rather eat a baseball glove. Service is slow. No one is ever there. Yay. More seating options for me… NOT. I can truly understand why no one comes here. However… The drinks are actually pretty good. I recommend the pomegranate mojito if you’re just in the area & craving a little libation. Other than that do yourself a favor & pass on this place. Your Cup-O-Ramen at home would be much better.

If you like eating garbage, this is the place for you ladies and gents! I visited this sad place on a Monday night with my mom and sister and it was just about empty… that bothered us… We started out with the coconut shrimp. …which was not fully cooked… then some type of wonton wrapped shrimp. .no flavor our waitress wasn’t a fan of us… maybe she assumed we werent good tippers… I ordered the pattuya noodles which were decent… still didnt finish it… the peanut sauce was pretty tasty but the seafood was flavorless… my twin got the crispy roasted pork… utterly disgusting. .or should i say and acquired taste… imagine pig fat deep fried and served over veggies… and not it did not taste like pork skins! The best part about the evening were the drinks… very strong and kind of pretty to look at… don’t even bother using a groupon… you end up paying more… THEYCHARGEAN18% GROUPONFEE… WTF??! I Wont be back…

I went here for late lunch(a little after 2), which may have driven the disinterested service, who had one foot out the door. Even though the menu said the buffet is a go until 2:30, they told us they were shutting it down since it was not busy any more. The buffet looked good– will need to try that some other time. I ordered the crying tiger beef, which was cooked a perfect medium rare as ordered. it was tender and flavorful, with a rich murky complex sauce that elevated the already good beef nicely. The décor is sleek and comfy, with lots of wood and glass and comfy seating all around. Will see how they do when I go in the lunch sweet spot next time– Naga today was good enough to justify a return for a second swing, someday.
