I’m a fan, but I’m really tired of the random closures«due to new management».

I am absolutely in LOVE with Goodcents subs! I have ordered through Grub Hub and went to the location and every time the quality of food was amazing! Its rare that you get a sub or sandwich delivered that isn’t soggy so I have always been delighted at the freshness. Not only that but the food is delicious. Love the buffalo chicken sub as well as the meatball sub. I would highly recommend delivery and dining in.

Love this place, the food, the people, the soft drink machine… they have a meal deal everyday, and Free-cookie Fridays — enough said. The owner is super nice, so it’s only natural he’s hired a good group of employees to run the place seamlessly. This is the only one in Texas! Hopefullu there will be more soon.

Mr. Goodcents is currently appearing the most frequently in my sandwich shop rotation. I’m so glad I found this place! In addition to having the perfect meat to bread ratio(no easy feat), the bread is always fresh. I’m partial to the penny club with turkey, ham, and roast beef — delicious! Their wraps are pretty good as well. They have a good variety of dressings and veggies and you’re all set. Prices are reasonable and they have daily specials. If there aren’t parking spaces along the street, there are plenty of retail spaces in the garage. No negatives as far as I’m concerned.

Solid sub spot in Uptown for basic subs. The hubs loves a good sub, so we end up here quite frequently. The bread is always very fresh and soft, and the meats are sliced to order. For a quick sandwich pickup, you can’t go wrong with the Penny Club and«standard dress», which includes tomato, lettuce, onion, oregano, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar. They offer 4 different size options for your subs: 4″, 8″, 12″, and 16″. The staff has always been very friendly, and they have one of those coke machines with a touch screen and a thousand options.

I gave this place two try’s hoping to try something new from my ordinary Subway and Potbelly’s routine, but I just can not get myself to enjoy these boring subs that are not flavored or cold when ordered hot. Does not even compare with Subway’s or Potbelly’s freshness on vegetables or toasted sub’s so don’t bother save you the time trying to park and just go to Subway or Potbelly. I also ordered soup and they were out… grrrrrrrrrrrr… On my second visit I bought a Groupon and figured to give it another shot. Showed up with my brother and mother asking for(1) 6inch for mom and(1) 12inch for I and the brother to split. When ordering my vegetables for my subs, I asked for cucumbers on my sandwich and the lazy person making my sandwich took the last 2 cucumbers, YES you’re reading correctly, took the last 2 slices of cucumbers and had the nerve to split the 2 slices into pieces among 2 sandwiches… really??? That’s just tacky!!! How hard is it to go to the fridge and grab another canister with cucumbers??? Then I ordered soup to go with the subs and she stated we’re almost out of soup, I made the comment«You guys are always out of soup», but anyhow allowed for 1 partial filled cup serving and cheated me out of my second bowl not even filling it up. I almost said never mind on the soup but since I was getting cheated, she made the comment I won’t charge you, so went with it. Well by the time she was ringing up my order she charges me for it after she said she wouldn’t. At this point I’m loosing it and just wanted to get my $ 20 worth of Groupon and LEAVE!!! I will never ever go here again!!! Stay away!!! They cheat you and are stingy with portions and the subs are so boring have no flavor. Also the soup was horrible all you could taste where these 1inch thick egg noodles and all you tasted was yuckiness and wheat!!! Don’t bother! Stay away!!!

I was looking for a new place to grab a quick and healthy bite to eat and Mr. Goodcents caught my eye. I have been over in that area at the neighboring Starbucks, have often smelled the delicious bread baking and told myself that some day I would stop by and give it a try. I went during dinner time and it was pretty empty inside. I liked that you have multiple options of sandwich sizes including: 8″, 12″ and 14″. You have the option of putting together your own combination of ingredients or you can choose one of their signature selections, cold or toasted. You can make your sandwich a combo by adding chips or cookies with a drink. I was not in the mood for chips and was disappointed that they didn’t have other, healthy options for a combo side. The employees were less than friendly and seemed annoyed when I asked questions about what options I had for various additions to the sandwich including the mysterious«standard dress». So, for anyone that doesn’t know, standard dress includes: lettuce, tomato, onion, oregano, salt, pepper, oil & vinegar. It’ll save you from getting a judgmental, «why aren’t you familiar with 100% of our menu» look from one of the employees. As for the ingredients, everything was fresh and delicious: the bread freshly baked, the meat sliced in front of you and all of the vegetables and other dress options looked vibrant and crisp. I put together my own sandwich and didn’t opt for any soup or pasta. Overall, it was delicious and quick. I just wish the staff had been a little more friendly and informative.

You know, I like this place. I’ve been going on and off since they opened and I’ve had consistent friendly and fast service. I usually go with their Satisfier bread and make my own sandwich. I’ve also had their chicken soup and thought it was good as well. I’m lucky enough to be able to walk here from the office but if you are driving here, you can park in the parking garage and enter the restaurant from their garage-side door. Look it’s nothing fancy here but it’s quick, good and and priced nicely. Some days, that’s all I want at lunch time and this place does it well.

When subway sandwich gets boring, Goodcents is a slight change of pace, but still offers a $ 5 sub and is generally healthy. The footlong was huge and the website says a cold roasted chicken sandwich clocks in at under 500 calories. I found that hard to believe, but as some post work out athletes walked in for a meal I felt a little healthier and inspired. Nothing like the entertainment of seeing a cute broad shouldered guy with a banana in his mouth. I ate the whole footlong, Freudian dream into reality, so I felt a little guilty but I was in the middle of a run through Uptown so that balanced out too. «despite all my rage, I’m still just a rat in a cage.». — Smashing Pumpkins Consume — expend — save — spend — repeat

A good old-fashioned deli sandwich at a great price. Bread is baked fresh daily and they slice your sandwich meat right as you order. Huge difference between Goodcents and Subway is the bread actually tastes like bread and not like chemicals. Goodcents has several $ 5 footling subs to choose from and a few other subs priced slightly higher. Parking is a little difficult to come by in this popular section of Uptown.

Hrm… so Mr. Goodcents isn’t too well-known, especially with all the Subways and Jimmy John’s everywhere. It was located in a fun little part of Dallas. We stumbled upon the place through Groupon. It was a beautiful Friday and we needed to find a place to fill our bellies before we headed for a long drive. We were luckily surprised at not only how big the subs were but also that Fridays were Free Cookie Day(at least that friday it was)!!! The SETTING was great, with outdoor seats available to enjoy the beautiful weather and do some people-watching in the nice neighborhood. It seems they have specials every now and then, making the subs very reasonably priced. Now the FOOD. We each ordered a regular sub. The bread was very soft and fresh. The ingredients were very fresh and they had awesome meat slicing machines that they use to slice the ham as you order. It makes it a little more interesting than Subway in my opinion. The free cookie was soooo very delicious, definitely the best part of my meal. The sub was very filling, and a tip that I would have found extremely helpful that day was if someone had warned me to eat my cookie before my sandwich because I was already so full after the sandwich. There aren’t really any CONS I can think of about the sandwich shop. The location was quiet and safe in a walkable area. The parking was only a teensy bit annoying, but really not a big deal. I think it’s a great place to check out if you’re looking for something other than Subway. Hope you get a free cookie on Friday! ~Toodles!

My first time here and I really enjoyed the sandwich I ordered. I didn’t try the pasta but I may go back and try that too. The place was practically empty when I walked in for dinner around 7pm on a weekday. The guy behind the counter was very helpful, polite, professional and he made a good sandwich. The atmosphere was a step above a Subway or a Quiznos but not a dining experience at all. Just good food served in a clean, comfortable place. Parking was terrible but that’s the norm for this part of Dallas — I’m told.

My twice ordered California turkey club has been really good and MEH– today it was meh. The first sandwich I ordered though was pretty good fare. Also, have you ever seen someone try to scrape mustard off of a goop soaked up bun and wipe down the excess from the lunch meat because an order was prepared wrong? Me neither until today. Finally the patron had enough and said, ‘just get me everything fresh please’. They did no worries, but I was amused as the scene unfolded.

Just when I thought I had exhausted all sandwich options around me, I remembered there being a Mr. Goodcents in the Quad I hadn’t checked out yet. After grabbing Kevin a hangover-cure lunch at Jake’s, I swung by Mr. Goodcents for a healthier sandwich. It’s like something was missing. Sure, the turkey was freshly sliced and the toppings appeared to be fresh as well. But after getting about halfway through my 8″ Dime sammie, I found myself a little disappointed. I just can’t put my finger on it. Parking is also a hassle. There’s a garage, but the gym nearby takes up most of those spots, leaving you circling if it’s peak hours. I suggest grabbing a bite before the gym rats descend — otherwise, you’re screwed. With all of the other fantastic offerings nearby, it’s going to be hard to convince me to go back.

A’ight, so I’ve been there twice now since my first review and I feel I am now able to properly review this sandwich joint. The first time, I sent my proxy to get me sammy(husband) then the second time we went in together. Dude, $ 7 for a freakin’ long ass sandwich. Think 4 subways for $ 7. Only Jersey Mike quality. I’m hooked. There’s a large variety of meats, cheeses and veg to choose from, so even though I’m a die hard Turkey/Provolone girl, those in your lives who like lots of greasy cold cuts on their sammies will be happy too. ANDTHEYDELIVERPEOPLE!!! I’m only telling you this once… get your asses over there and get a $ 724-inch sub before they realize the competition is charging double $$ for crap and they jack their prices up. Now, I’ve gotta try their pasta.

when a party invite says«nibbles provided», I figure there’ll be crudite and crackers. boy was I wrong! Melody hooked up subs from Mr Goodcents and they did not let down. Like Gabi said, I loved the cute little bottles of condiments and the trays of on the side fixins, but honestly I didn’t even need it, the bread was soft, the pepperoni and salami were tasty so I was good! They even tasted great the next day(I took the bread off and put it in a baggie separate from the meat last night) Yum!

Thank you, Mr. Goodcents, for delivering party trays to the Unilocal Elite Event last night at Double Wide… Melody L is right — you sure do provide quality subs and no skimping on the ingredients! I loved how you delivered the party trays as well as all of the fixin’s(including yellow peppers, hot peppers, pickles, onions, olives) + the cutest little bottles ever of oil, vinegar, mustard, mayo, etc… One bite of the Italian Sub(Capicola, Pepperoni, and Salami) on wheat, and I was in heaven! OK, so I admit, I helped myself to not two, but three(yes, I said three) sandwiches last night. I was hungry, what can I say?! I am so psyched because I just saw on your website that you have several locations open now and more coming soon in AZ. I am keeping my fingers crossed that you open once really close to where I live — if you do, I will be a regular! And if not, well, I may just have to make the drive for a fresh, yummy Italian sub every now and again!

Hello new lunch place! I had a ton of errands to run today like ordering a humongous giant coffee from SB(don’t hold it against me), shipping boxes across the state and well… eating. A girl’s got to eat. I was able to do all three without moving my car. Yay! After coming out of Eagle Postal Center and stopping into SB(again, don’t tell anyone) I looked up to see Mr. Goodcents staring back at me. Well hello Mr. Goodcents. I want to eat you. It wasn’t too busy, the employees were friendly and it had a clean atmosphere with a flat screen TV even. I vote yes. I ordered an 8inch(more for yo dolla) turkey breast on wheat with all of the veggie fixings. I hate when other sangwich shops count out the black olives as they lay them on your sub, so I was excited to see that they don’t skimp on the veggies. Oh, you actually WANT me to like your sandwich don’t you? How nice of you! As soon as I opened the wrapping of the sang, the freshness of the ingredients rolled out and into my nostrils. Oh mama, this is gonna be good. I was hooked on the first bite. I’m not sure where they get their turkey, but it is so very tasty. It is thin and delicate with a hint of a buttery taste. The bread is soft without being too soft, creating the perfect consistency of sinking your teeth into it – not losing your teeth in it. For your sweet tooth, cookies are wrapped in plastic with stickers labeling when they were made. It is Tuesday. The sticker says Tuesday. I like Tuesday. I also like good cookies, and they have them here.(But don’t tell my trainer. Missy will kick my ass… literally.) I have no defense for these doughy, sugary, soft, thin baked wonders with giant morsels of semi melted chocolate chips in them. I mean how can you say no to that? Come by next time you hear a rumble in your tummy! Ooooh and for those trapped in cubicles, they do have delivery!
