The ice cream was absolutely delicious. I wish that they had had more vegan options – the only one was a sorbet. I like that they change flavors regularly, you check their facebook to see what they have. Pay the extra $ 1 to get the homemade waffle cone – so tasty! The staff was friendly and the location was pretty easy to find. They don’t have a huge parking lot though.

I checked out MELT when they had their pop-up shop in Oak Cliff. They’ve since headed back to Fort Worth, but I can’t WAIT until they make a permanent location in Dallas! Incredibly delicious ice cream, sweet staff, and pints! Their Instagram isn’t lacking for eye candy either.

So glad Melt came to our hood! Open just on weekends in the old Urban Acres farmstead bldg until 9pm! Had the salted caramel on a waffle cone… delicious and homemade!

This is the ice cream review: I’ll rewrite when I’ve had the pizza. We needed ice cream and this was the nearest place that was open: funky flavors for sure, I thoroughly enjoyed the coconut curry ice cream. The chocolate chocolate was tasty too.

Every night when I go to bed I say the same small little prayer. «God please bring Melt Ice Cream to Dallas.» And then every morning I would wake up to the same boring ass ice cream options the Big D had to offer. But no more ladies and gents! The heavens have opened and the bush is burning. Melt has opened a pop up shop at Urban Acres in the oh so cool Oak Cliff and it’s so delicious. They are open only on the weekends and have limited flavones but it doesn’t matter. When you walk in and smell waffle cones cooking and people walking out with towers of artisan goodness you just can’t help but smiling from ear to ear. So go eat at those cool restaurants in The Cliff then enjoy a scoop. Or 2. Or 3 :)
