The protine a arent bad but the positions are crazy small I ordered the small chicken and for $ 7 I got 6 chicken nugget sized pieces and a ton of noodle that were really dry

Came to order food at this location and it had to have been the worst customer service experience ever. Today’s date is 6÷21÷2015 at 5:00pm. These folks that were working this shift are horrible and need to be fired. No eye contact, rude, didn’t want to help and had the saddest looks on their faces. Needless to say… we didn’t eat there and went next door to Moes southwest grill and had the exact same experience. The food court needs better people. It was horrible.

Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! There really isn’t one good thing I can say about this one. Overly greasy… shut up, I know it fast-food Chinese… but this took it to new levels.

My mind was set at 2 stars after eating here but after half of a day with an upset stomach, downgrading to a 1. On the plus side, for airport food, it is cheap.

Not the best Chinese fast food take out but I have to say the fried rice and sautéed vegetable entrée were satisfying. The man who helped me was friendly and struck up a small conversation with me since no one was in line. Friendly service, good deal and gets the job of eating done.

Not super cheap, but pretty food airport Chinese food. Of course within an hour I was hungry again. Still, the point should be made, you get a good portion of food and it’s got enough flavor to hold you over. As I said for an airport this was sufficient.

Airport grub is way better than it was in the ‘60s and ‘70s. Manchu Wok would have been five-stars back then. Now, there are a lot of decent choices at DFW Airport. But, all things considered, this was decent Chinese food. I had the Orange Chicken(advertised as a signature dish). The vegetables were great. Lightly steamed and flavorful – really done right. Not so good was the orange chicken. It was barely lukewarm. The chicken was kinda tough. And the chunks were often too big to eat without a knife. But, there was some orange flavor there. I’d recommend hitting up Manchu Wok if you’re in the Chinese mood, but stick to the veggies.

Yeeks! Their Orange Chicken is their«Signature dish»(!?) and was just filling but not more than that. Veggies were oddly not overdone; actually lightly steamed and not limp, but not very tasty. Still, this is barely passable as Chinese food. If you have to eat here, keep your expectations very low.

So I am now living in an area with poor quality chinese food, as you can tell from my reviews. I have been now reduced to having the best(affordable take out) chinese food at airports while traveling. Unfortunately I got delayed at the Dallas airport and needed some food. I was intrigued that there was a chinese take out chain that I had not tried yet, enter Manchu Wok. However, once I saw the steam table I was a bit disappointed, but decided to give it a chance, my mistake. The fried rice was bland and one dimensional. The noodles were pasty and gummy. Not to mention they were quite oily with an odd flavor note that I could not place. Orange chicken was well fried with a crisp crust, which was the only saving point to it. The sauce was thick, not on purpose but rather because it had sat under the heat lamp too long. it had a hint of orange, but was too sweet and tasted more like orange concentrate rather then an orange sauce. All around the meal was disappointing and was some of the worst chinese take out I have had in a long time. The only thing that I did enjoy was my fountain soda.

I’m in the airport for 3 hours and didn’t eat Chinese food in a long time. So Manchu Wok seemed like the way to go for lunch. Chew slow and let an hour fly. I ordered the Kung Pao. But it was all cold diced zucchini and onions in a sauce. The fried rice was excellent. They made it with carrots and sweet peas. And the Lipton raspberry ice tea was out of this world. What a way to spend Christmas?!

Remember when you were younger and you had a best-best-best friend and a sort-of best friend? You were bosom buddies with the former, and you settled for hanging out with the latter when the former went to Space Camp without you? Panda Express, meet Manchu Wok. Panda Express(affectionately nicknamed Pandex) and I have a love-love relationship. I can eat a giant vat of orange chicken and feel zero guilt(at least until the next day). Crispy beef? Yes, please. Deliciously greasy chow mein? Hell yes. Manchu Wok, on the other hand, often serves as a sorry substitute for my beloved Pandex when I’m at the airport traveling to yet another exotic destination for work(Amarillo, anyone?). The food isn’t MSG’ed as well, has been heat-lamped much longer and is served by a lady previously employed at a gulag. And yet, I keep coming back. It’s tough being abandoned for a summer in favor of space camp.
