This is my go-to place for pizza delivery. They are affordable and relatively quick. In terms of pizza, I call it «sleepover pizza». It’s not thin, not thick either and they also don’t judge you when you ask for 6 sides of ranch.

After driving by for years, I finally decided to stop into Lovers Pizza the other day for a quick slice while out running errands. I went right when they opened and was greeted with several pizzas sitting behind the class and workers ready to roll. I ordered a slice and it was put in their large ovens to ensure it came out crispy and hot. The pizza was delicious and fresh tasting. To me, I think the pizza by the slice was a teeny-tiny bit overpriced but I’m definitely glad I stopped in and will be back again!

Food: Greek Salad and Goat Cheese Pizza Delivery: 1.5 hours later it arrived. Pizza was cold. Customer Service: young lady I spoke with originally told me 35 – 45 minutes for delivery. I called back after an hour and she said the time had changed and was now around an hour so should be there soon. 30 minutes later it arrived. I called back shortly after putting the pizza in the oven to warm it up. The manager somewhat apologized but did offer to give me my next order free of charge. If he holds up his end of the deal, I will definitely update this message. Side note: the salad was delicious but the pizza was average after rewarming and burning it a little

I had ordered the chicken parmigiana. The salad was fresh but the ranch dressing came in a little plastic cup, not enough to cover. When they brought out the dish I could not believe it. The pasta was yellow and the chicken was a thin ½ of processed piece of chicken with a lite breading that was sliding off. The marinara was cracked and had boil bubble holes in it. It was nuked. The chicken was tough. I will give it another chance but for pizza only.

I was in town and just flew in and was looking for a quick bite to eat! I called in my shrimp scampi order with garlic bread. The meal was so delicious. The shrimp was a bit overlooked but it may have been because I didn’t eat it right when I picked it up. The garlic bread was good but they give you free bread and salad with your order so it wasn’t necessary. Overall the meal portions are huge and I was completely satisfied!

Surprisingly delicious :) we had the pizza delivered to our school conference, and as soon as we saw pizza being served, we all thought, «ah mannnn, pizza??» But one bite and we were convinced– in love with lovers pizza! Their ginormous slices taste like rainbows folded in half(the only pizza I think tastes good that way so far!) :D. The crust is thin, but not crispy thin~ kind of on the ooey gooey side ^^ The veggie(without the sausage) is by far my favorite– laden with an ocean of chopped veggie fare, it tastes super fresh with a thin but soft chewy crust! Eat it fresh though, the pizza tastes really meh after sitting around for a while after the cheese has soldified a bit~

Love the 18″, NY style pizzas — picked up and delivered, both easy & quick. Order extra cheese!(a little greasy, if you’re squeamish about that, but an easy paper towel blot takes care of that) And if you are a pizza+ranch fan, ask for multiple ranches, they are small. This pizza makes for great left overs — I love it cold. Crust is only average.

A neighborhood favorite for a quick slice of pizza or a Byob date night. It’s a small non-formal restaurant and never too crowded. You order at the cash register and Very affordable. Great value. The spaghetti sauce recipe is amazing!

Great pizza! I had my monthly vegan Cheat day and it was well worth it! Delivery on a Friday 35 minutes, pretty quick. Nice delivery guys, person who took order very helpful and polite. Right on the edge of being 5 star.

Fantastic pizza! My favorite is the works. The don’t have a huge crust, they don’t skimp on the toppings and the pizza is just sooo flavorful! I never go anywhere else. This place is a must!

I’m picky about pizza and have been searching the area for the best cheese pizza. It seems easy enough to find but its been quite difficult. My search is over! Delicious pizza, quick service and friendly staff. Gonna be my new spot!!!

sooooo GOOD! i have also tried all the rest of them(piggies, cigarz, gapc, you get the idea) and this place beats the pants off them. i would call it comparable to mimis pizzeria off nw highway as far as crust and deliciousness goes for local pizza. the 12″ is definitely personal size, as in dont touch mine or ill bite your hand off. crust is crispy on the outside, chewy and wonderful on the inside. not too thin, but thin enough and definitely not thick. cheese was amaaaazing! they really give you extra for the money. sauce is really good too. i hate sweet sauce and this sauce is definitely not sweet but not too salty either! really just all in all, a great effin pizza!!! also, service was great. not sure who they spoke to there, but i found all the guys there to be very friendly and courteous. go try this place!

Having tried most of the pizza places around(and having a Yankee transplant husband who lived in NYC and is very specific about his pizza), I think that this is the best restaurant in the area for a good pizza. It’s not as pricey as GAPCo, is not too greasy, and tastes great. We order their non-pizza dishes as well. I’ve enjoyed them, but the pasta is nothing to write home about. I do like the side salads though.

Lover’s is a great place for a basic NY style pizza. Slices are big and best eaten by folding lengthwise. I frequently stop in for a slice to go on my way to or from work. One of their big slices is a meal in and if itself. I typically get a slice of the pepperoni and a drink to go, which runs me around $ 4.50. They have some slices ready with different toppings, as well as plain cheese, so you can choose your own toppings by the slice or add extras onto one that is already made. They heat your slices up in the oven, so you don’t need to worry about it being lukewarm or your cheese rubbery. The whole pizzas are delicious too, hot, melty and fresh from the oven, and are a lot more bang for your buck than what you’d get at the nearby Olivella’s, Campisi’s and Domino’s. They have pasta dishes and sandwiches as well, but I haven’t ever tried any of them. Delivery can get pretty busy and there can be a long wait at peak times, but it’s generally a quick in-and-out if you decide to just pick it up for carry-out. The dine-in space is fairly small, but there have always been open tables anytime I’ve been in. You order at the counter and then take a seat. Easy listening, jazz or Sinatra-style music graces your ears while you wait, and there is a TV on the wall that is generally tuned in to soccer, American football or basketball. The service is always friendly and helpful too.

Finally!!! Being from NJ/NY area, I’m very picky about my pizza. But this spot that we found today, has some very good pizza. Not oily/greasy, dare I say this was better than some of my spots back east. Forget that Dominos or Papa John’s, this is real pizza, with some flavor some to it! Also, they play some nice easy listening music, just perfect for atmosphere…

If I could give this place any less than 1 star I would. Ive found places on here and read reviews but this is the first time I’ve actually taken time to write one. I’ve ordered from here once or twice before and the food was okay but not great. The pizza sizes are larger than most places. Example: I ordered a medium and it was like an 8 slice large. Tonight I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, an Italian link sandwich, Caesar salad and 2 liter coke. The pizza was lukewarm but I let it go bc I assumed they were busy with the weekend. My mom liked the sandwich and of course the soda was fine. The Caesar salad was the problem. They had mixed it together with the dressing which made no sense to me. I tasted it and the dressing was watery and thin tasting and the lettuce was flimsy and wet with the dressing. I called the restaurant to see what I could do bc I had paid cash and I didn’t want another salad.(Last time I ordered a salad they had sent me the wrong dressing on the side.) I was on hold while they figured out what to do. That’s expected. The owner/manager comes on the line asking me what happened when I’d already explained to his person who I’d just talked to. He starts arguing with me telling me that’s how everyone makes Caesar salad and that they’ve been there 5 years and on and on. He then says that I should have told them I wanted the dressing on the side. Seriously? I told him the last time I’d ordered they put the dressing on the side and maybe he should have his ordering staff ask the customer how they want since it seems they prepare some of their salads differently. I had to explain that when delivering a salad with the dressing mixed in the salad will get mushy like mine was bc you’re driving around with it as you drop off other orders. He still made it my fault. I told him that his person working the phone was nicer than him and he’s supposed to be the owner? After arguing and talking over me he finally said he would send money back then got off the line. I called back and asked to speak with the owner I had just talked to. He came in the line. I asked him his name and he started ratting it off and spelling it out then started telling me the hours he worked. Timmy was what he spelled out i think. I hadn’t asked for all that. I told him I also wanted a refund for the pizza. He said okay and said he’d send the driver back. I wanted to be clear on the amount so I asked and he told me that should have the receipt which I didn’t bc I didn’t receive one. How hard would it have been to just check the amount and tell me instead of being a smartass to your customer? He went to check and someone else came back on the line and said they’d give me a full refund. I told the new guy that I had no problem paying for what was eaten but he said don’t worry and it was fine. The driver came back relatively quickly and apologized but I told him it wasn’t his fault. And I felt bad bc he had to spend gas to come back which I’m sure he probably doesn’t get compensated for. I will NEVER order from this place again. Horrible horrible customer service from the owner of all people. It’s not smart to antagonize and be condescending to your customers. I was never rude to him. Can’t imagine what would have happened if I had been. He probably would have just hung up.

My husband and I went here tonight for dinner. Here Is the breakdown: House Salad: there stand-out about this salad. Complimentary Garlic Knots: there was potential with the garlic knots, however there was too mich parmesan cheese and not enough garlic. Penne Pasta Regata: I really enjoyed the mix of flavors. The chicken was cooked well and the sauce was light in addition to the spinach, garlic and tomatos. I would recommend this to anyone! Baked Ziti: Eh… not so much. This lacked seasoning and was too sweet… which was unexpected. There needed more cheese and maybe meat. The sauce was really creamy and unexpectedly sweet. We’ll be back to try the pizza.
