Good food very nice staff. Our one year old can be a little toot sometimes and the staff made us feel at home. Happy to go back.

Went here for the first time tonight. AWESOME service (so unusual these days) and fantastic food in an understated warm and cozy atmosphere. The chicken souvlaki was moist and flavorful and the avgolemono soup had just the right amount of lemon to complement the chicken and rice (maybe a touch less salt). The desert menu was full of temptations, but I finally decided on the tiramisu. They make it in-​house and it is worth every fattening bite. Eat slowly and savor the flavors of the ingredients. As for service it was attentive, but not intrusive (thank you Ms K). Beverages were kept refilled without asking (unlike some places where you have to tackle the waitstaff to get anything). I can’t wait to go back and sample the rest of the menu.

Pretty disappointed. Does anyone notice that they just burn the crap out of their pita bread? Why!?! Seems like everyone else thinks this is normal. Anyway, the steak I had was flavorful and cucumber sauce was also decent. Other than that, I am not impressed. Hummus was just alright, bread burned and salad was meh. Way too much feta. Cmon people

Fun place, out of the way, good menu, reasonable pricing, and a good waitstaff. little atmosphere, but… close to Fair Park and easy to find!!!

So awesome. I was unsure cause the outside does not match the amazing inside. The food was incredible, and the service fantastic. Just the best time. This is definitely our spot now.

This place is fantastic! I brought my Greek boyfriend here for his birthday and he loved it! Everything was beyond amazing! Thank you!!!

We decided to invite a coworker for a birthday lunch and she chose here. I ordered a Greek chicken salad and the birthday gal ordered the salmon special. My salad was a good size but it really didn’t have much flavor, although the blackened chicken itself was very flavorful (a bit salty but flavorful) requested more dressing and they brought me what seemed to be mainly oil with pepper… Not tasty or savory.
Tried my friend’s salmon and it was yum, potatoes were light and okra saggy. The hummus was chunky and a bit too garlicky that you’ll have the after taste all day. Service was the same as last time — just ok.

Great traditional Greek food. And not that expensive at all. Love this place.

There are several reasons why I’m not giving this place a better review. The service is NOT one of them. Service was excellent. The food was not great. The gyro meat was a little suspect – not the most fresh. The saganaki was mushy, bland and not served with pita bread. The price is also really high for what you get (a gyro plate with Greek potatoes was $ 14). On top of all that, the place is super out-​dated. I felt like I was in my grandmother’s living room. Glad I tried it, but I probably won’t be back. Sorry Kostas…

I LOVED this restaurant! My first clue was that all the wait staff looked Greek lol. but seriously the food was awesome! We had the chicken souvlaki and the gyro plate. both were perfectly seasoned and tender! Good proportions, fairly priced! Yummmm

We came here for dinner with friends the other night and it was a really nice experience. I’ve lived in the area awhile now and was excited to try this place.
The atmosphere was great. Dimly lit and a few other tables bustling with chatter. The four of us started off with the hummus. It was heavy on the garlic but in a good way. It was excellent. The waiter brought us extra warm pita.
Three of us at the table got the Greek Combo (Spanakopita, moussaka, dolma, and some grilled chicken souvlaki. It also came with potatoes and green beans. The other friend got the Gyro plate. While the service was a bit too relaxed and sometimes slow, the food was amazing. Everything on the combo was delicious. Everyone at the table was really satisfied with the food. It was all well seasoned and yummy.
The only thing we all didn’t like was the volume of the live music. It was a nice thought, but it was almost too loud to hear each other at the table. Also, those at the table that ordered coffee were not happy with it.
Overal, good service and the food was worth it. This is a great date night place.

My husband and I loved this romantic Greek restaurant. I’m a huge fan of Greek food and most of the dishes we ordered were delicious and satisfying. The kalamari was a bit too salty for my liking, but the garlic sauce served with it was spectacular. That’s the sauce I would want on top of my pizzas! The gyro plate and Mousaka was PERFECT. Flavorful and tasty in every bite. For the wine drinkers out there, try the Apelia white wine. It went perfectly with my dinner! Our waiter was helpful and nice and the décor on the walls are very Greekful! Check this place out! You won’t be disappointed.

The dinner was delicious from start to finish! The warm, fresh bread and calamari was excellent! The Greek salad was refreshing and flavorful with lots of feta and Greek dressing. The chicken souvlaki, broiled shrimp, green beans and potatoes were perfectly seasoned and prepared. We finished the meal with a creamy dessert similar to baklava.

Quick tips: Very cute restaurant. The one downside is lunch prices are fairly high. I paid around $ 25 without tip for Greek salad with gyro meat and the chicken plate. However, good quality food.
Food: Hot bread was nice introduction. My Greek salad was great. The lamb was nicely seasoned as was the chicken. I also very enjoyed the white rice that came with my brothers chicken kebabs.
Service: Ammmazing service. Not pushy, but so accommodating an friendly. You could tell the server really liked his job.
Ambiance: Cozy place place for a relaxed date or hanging out. Not exactly a place to impress though.

Food is very authentic and well prepared. The service is impeccable; if you want to slightly alter your order its no big deal, they do it with a smile, which is becoming rarer these days.
I ordered the flaming cheese where they say Oompa!, fun and yummy. And I ordered the chicken souvlaki, which was well-​seasoned. Also got a side of their taztiki sauce, really delicious and rich.
I also wanted to mention that the portions here are appropriately sized. Not too much food, just right.

Best little Greek restaurant! Still love this place! Me and the hubs have been coming here since 2010 (when he introduced me to greek food, gyros specifically)! This is our special spot!
I think we have sampled everything on the menu now and everything is great! Shrimp Scampi is the best! Dolmas, gyros, hummus, spanakopita, moussaka… Its all delish!
Service is always great and attentive. Gus always greets us and treats us to desert!
Hope with all the new development in the area they don’t ever mow this place down… :)

We really enjoyed our dining experience at Kostas. The atmosphere is quite lovely and the service was good but most importantly we loved everything we had here. I highly recommend people getting their combo plate if it is your first time here. This way you can try a bit of everything. The gyro was a great choice too. We were too full from our entrée and didn’t get a chance to order dessert. Hopefully we will have a chance the next time we are here.
Tip: loved the soup!

This is another long standing establishment in Dallas. Kostas offers authentic traditional Greek food and it certainly has its charm. The owner speaks Greek and has been at this location for years. The staff is always attentive and consistent with their service. The waitress who waited on us last night was witty and cheerful even though it was almost closing time.
The food dishes have always been on point. We’ve been eating at Kostas multiple times with big group or date nights. We even tried their Plano location, however I can say the Plano has the same consistent taste as the Dallas location.

It was a Thursday night and we walked in at 9:20pm. The owner greets us and immediately tells us they are closing. Really? Your sign says 10pm buddy. We tell him we will order to go and his smile all of a sudden becomes genuine.
We order 2 gyro plates to go — 1 with salad and the other with soup.
While we wait, the server gives up a glass of water. I thought that was nice of him. Our food comes out not too long after we placed our order. It’s not even 9:30pm as I watch them turn off the open sign.
We both enjoyed our entrees (at home). They gave us generous portions with our to go order. I definitely do not recommend the soup. It was a thick lemon soup with undercooked rice. I did enjoy the gyro meat and lemony potatoes.
I’m giving this place a low rating because of the service we received. We could have quickly eaten our food by 10pm. Clearly the owner wanted to go home mucher sooner than the stated and printed closing time.

The place is amazing. And to think I almost turned away just because it’s next to a horrible restautant that I vowed never to go again.
This place… It’s just a true gem!
The lemon chicken was fantastic! Flavorful, enticing and very enriching! I cannot get enough of it!
The soup was also splendid! It had the right texture, my tastebuds were in complete bliss! The rice as the bottom was just the right touch on my tongue as I devoured it!
The bread was delicious! Hummus was good but I think I have had better. Still, it’s all perfection!
The tiramisu was so good! It was buttery soft and I was in heaven!
This is one of the restaurants that will not disappoint you!
In short, I will be back! Take my money!
