While it is difficult to make an appointment, Julianna certainly knows her stuff! I continue to be impressed with her knowledge of skin care products and up-keep. Julianna keeps my skin clear and blemish free!

Go somewhere else! Anywhere else!!! I bought a groupon and showed up to a rundown, hard to find house, walked up the crickety stairs and was amused at the description of «charming» given in the groupon. But you never know! I should’ve turned around then. If I only knew then what I know now… After filling out paperwork, I was shown into a room with a facial chair on one side and a massage chair on the other. I briefly hoped that another client wasn’t going to be sharing the space with me. Juliana proved to be, for lack of a nicer word, «unique» and not in a good way. However, I am willing to put up with a little bit of «crazy» if I think it translates into passion for your work. My facial was an enjoyable experience and Juliana did indeed seem to be very knowledgeable and passionate about skin care. She did a lot of name dropping, however, and her science didn’t quite jive with what I knew(I have a minor in chemistry) but maybe I am a bit rusty. I ended up deciding I could put up with the«old world charm» and crazy facial lady and bought a package of 5 facials and scheduled my next appt. The next 3 appts went much the same way. I was seeing pretty good results and Juliana seemed to accommodate me, and I ended up buying the whole product line as well. My first problems started with obtaining the products from her. She blamed it on the company and that they recently went through a re-packaging phase and that many things were on back order.(!!!) I received things piecemeal, and she never told me that the products would bleach out my towels with just one use, even in the shower. I have 2 bath towels, a hand towel and a face towel ruined. When I informed her she said«Oh I forgot to tell you about that. Sorry about that.»(!!!) By the time everything came in, I had run out if everything that I started with. I ordered it all again, and Juliana makes you pay up front.(!!!) I paid on a Tuesday, Juliana said the order would go out on Thursday and I should have it by early the following week. When I didn’t hear anything, I called the following Thursday and Juliana said it went out with a group order on Monday(!!!) and I should have it the next week. I waited two weeks and still didn’t hear anything(!!!). I called and texted her, and no response. I knew I had an appt coming up so I figured I would pick it all up then. Juliana texted me just 2 hours before my appt asking if I had gotten her email. I was out running errands on my last day off before switching to 6 days per week, so no, I was not checking my email.(!!!) She wanted to reschedule my appt to some indeterminate time because she was in the Dominican Republic working a photo shoot and due to delays, her plane landed very early in the am and she wasn’t feeling good. Sure! I understand, reschedule me for Thursday because that is the only time I have left for the next couple of months as I am switching to working 6 days per week and she isn’t open on Sunday’s. She texted me «stand by for times on Thursday».(!!!) Turns out Juliana acquired some water-borne illness and ended up being on 3 different antibiotics for weeks. Did she bother to communicate with anyone at her business? No.(!!!) When you called, did anyone pick up the phone or call you back or ANYTHING? No.(!!!) She finally sent out a mass text that was filled with so many misspellings and typographical errors that I wondered if a child wrote it.(!!!) It had been 1.5 months since I had ordered and paid for almost $ 300 in product and no one was returning phone calls. Finally, Juliana says she has my product and I can come and pick it up. Alas, now I am working 6 days per week and cant possibly do this. She refuses to mail it to me.(!!!) She offers to refund my product BUTNOONEANSWERSTHEPHONE!!!(!!!) I begin to send her texts: «please mail me my product by Friday.» She responds, «sure». It doesn’t come on Friday, or Saturday or Monday or Tuesday. I send another text Wednesday, «It is disappointing that I still have not received my product». «I am with a client and will call you this evening to get your credit card info for a refund, 8 pm.» Why am I surprised when she doesn’t call? I text her on the day of the 2 month ‘anniversary’ of my paying for the product and tell her that at this point it is ridiculous that she is withholding my product and at this point it can be called stealing, and that I will seek legal advice. She tells me to call to give my credit card info for a refund. I try all the phone numbers three times and NOONEANSWERS. I text her again asking why she tells me to call and no one answers. She says, «this is my private phone. Stop harassing me»(!!!). She initiated contact with her private number months ago to set up appts and communicate about product!(!!!) I tell her«Stop stealing from me and you will never hear from me again and you could’ve ended this weeks ago.» Suddenly, their system is down.

This woman is a complete nutcase. The customer service is awful and the place is creepy in general.

This review is for my massage with Sharon, which happens to be one of the better massages I’ve ever gotten(and I’ve tried a lot of massage therapist!) Unfortunately, the greatness of the massage is overshadowed by the fact that the salon is in an old fourplex residential building. I found this setup kinda odd. But what I found even more odd is that the room where I got my massage was divided in half by a curtain and shared a room with a woman getting hair removal! Talk about feeling uncomfortable! The woman and her hair removal lady kept whispering the entire time I was getting massaged. Luckily, I zoned completely out and really enjoyed the deep tissue massage that was even on both sides of my body. I never once felt uncomfortable being all nakey like I do at some places. Another drawback was that it cost $ 90 for an hour. I wouldn’t have minded paying that price if the room was setup more like a spa and not a a shared space. Just a note– my absolute favorite message therapist charges exactly the same and goes way above and beyond on setting, including aromatherapy oils!

After leaving several phone messages to schedule a microdermabrasion I was finally contacted and the appointment was made. I drove for one hour the day of the appointment and arrived several minutes early. I was greeted by a wet paint sign on the front door, a foul smelling entry and a locked salon door. I knocked thinking the door had not been opened for the morning, but got no response. I could hear music and someone on a phone. I knocked several times, rang the buzzer and called twice. 15 minutes after my appointment should have started I left.

Meh, I am lucky I got the buywithme deals, cause if I had paid 200 bucks for a diamond tip micro whatever the hell she called it, I would not have been happy. Honestly, it is too sensitive of a machine. Also, if you are a smoker… prepare to be attacked. Also from what I hear, she cancels appointments like crazy, and with this heat and the fact they don’t or did not when i was there use A/C…you will die of heat!

FINDSOMEONEELSE! I can’t comment on the actual quality of service just Julianna’s terrible customer service and inability to schedule appointments. I bought 2 Buy With Me vouchers to the salon, one for my birthday and one for the week of my sister’s wedding. It took a week for someone to answer the phone. I book an appointment for my birthday. This appointment was cancelled via voicemail day of due to «movie star clients» that she needed to take care of. Call back to reschedule no answer. Another week of chasing her down and I book the appointment for the week of my sister’s wedding. She agrees to let me use both vouchers since they are a little different and throw in a discount on a massage. Awesome! I’m pumped and totally over the cancellation from earlier. Until she cancelled on me again yesterday the day of my appointment. This time for«important clients» she has to handle. AREYOUSERIOUS? I can’t imagine what client is more important the one you already have booked oh wait maybe the one who hasn’t already paid. If Julianna is trying to run a sleazy business by selling people vouchers they can’t redeem she succeeded. Natalie H — You should ask Groupon for a refund on your voucher. I’m working with Buy With Me now to get my money back.

Hello, I would like to make everyone aware of a recent experience I had while at Julianna and Dane Spa. I purchased a $ 69 Groupon for a body scrub and facial to «Juliana and Dane Spa». I also had two friends purchase the Groupon. I contacted the spa the day I bought the Groupon to book a time for five girls for a bachelorette party. After speaking with Juliana herself about what I expected and our plans she offered us a $ 35 hour long Swedish massage for all five girls. Juliana also said she would have champagne and snacks for us as a bonus. I asked her how long she thought it would take for all of us to finish and she said a couple hours. –I took this as 2 – 3 hours. I booked the date of May 28th at 4pm I asked if we could do our massages all together and she said«yes» and that she would rotate us all out. We were all very excited for the special day. Saturday May 28th I received a phone call from Dane asking if we could push back our 4 pm appointment to 5pm. I asked if we could come at 4:30 instead since we had dinner plans. Dane said that would be fine. When we arrived a 4:30 At the«spa» –a converted one bedroom apartment, it was extremely hot inside(like there was no AC at all) Juliana greeted us by handing us paperwork and showing us that she had water, cheese and strawberries for us. She also let us know that her other clients would be coming in and not to be startled because they are getting readt for the Drag Queen festivel that evening. We filled out the paperwork and starting explaining that one girl had completely canceled because her grandfather passed away that morning. Juliana was sympathetic and understanding. Whitney-the bride to be– was called back at 5:10 to a room to start her massage while the three of us waited and talked for 30 mins. Jasyln was then called back to the room to start her facial but did not do a massage or scrub so that someone else could go in after she finished. Juliana came out to the front and told us that the other massage therapist had called in because she was sick and there was only her and one other person that were working. I immediately thought that there was no way she would finish in time especially since we were pushed back from 4 to 5 and we have dinner reservations at 8. Jaslyn finished her facial close 6 and I went back for my massage. I finished my massage and was going to do my facial when I got called by Jayme saying that we have run out of time and our ride is waiting. Jayme had been waiting for a massage, facial, or scrub the entire time but since there was not enough people nor time she was unable to do ANYTHING but wait on us all to finish. While I got dressed Whitney, Jayme and Jasyln were at the front giving there groupon and paying for their massages. ONLY2MASSAGESWERERECEIVED due to time and the lack of people working. Juliana took Whitney’s credit card and said«you booked for 5 girls, you will pay for five girls» Whitney tried to dispute it but Juilana was insistent that we had wasted her time. She took Whitney’s card and ran it for $ 200 dollars. NEVERDIDITSAYANYTHINGINWRITINGABOUTHAVINGTOPAYFORSERVICESNOTRECEIVED(even if we would have waited and all had the treatments we expected to get we would have been there for at least five hours) I had no idea this had happened because I was in the back getting dressed. When I came out there were two large men(drag queens) sitting in a chair talking with Juilana laughing and I heard her talking badly about me and my group.(at the time I had no idea she was talking about my friends and I) when they realized that I had come out they thanked me and told me my friends are downstairs waiting. When I got downstairs Whitney was crying because how much she was charged and the horrible service we had received. Juliana over promised and under delivered and was incredibly unprofessional. I want everyone to be fully aware so that you dont waste your time with this place.

Not only I had a very, very relaxing experience getting a micro done today(which it can be painful) but I am very amused how much better my skin felt just after one session! — I went to see her after I saw the special running here on Unilocal($ 75 for a diamond Microdermabrasion which normally runs about $ 125), she took her time with me explaining about different things that can be bad for the skin and things that I was doing that was prob sabotaging my skin. Julianna seems to me to be an expert dealing with acne specially– I am definitely going back to see her.

Julianna is fantastic and is an amazing source of knowledge. It’s rare to see someone who is so passionate about what they do and so good at it!
