Howl-O-Ween

Aimee and I took Dupree to Howl-​O-​Ween (Petsmarts Halloween party for dogs) last night and he had a blast! There were about 20 (ish) other dogs in attendance. They had biscuits and peanut butter for the dogs, as well as dog toys, frisbees, and bandanas. For the human companions they had candy (yay!)
They were doing pictures of the dogs in their costumes to put in the super cute pumpkin Howl-​0-​Ween frames they were selling for $ 5. They had some games (musical milkbones comes to mind– think musical chairs, but not), a Trick contest (who’s dog does the best trick), and a few costume contests.
The costume categories were Scariest, Most Creative, and Best Overall — best overall had 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place prizes. Dupree was pleased to come home with his 2^nd place Best Overall Costume — which came with a PetsMart giftcard as a prize so he could buy himself some treats for being so darn adorable!
