Hands of Glory Barbershop and Salon

Never accept a haircut from some mumbling dumb@&%, who’s just standing outside the barbershop, asking «You want a cut??» Dude jacked me up… I mean, buck shots everywhere! Then, this dude had the nerve to charge me $ 20 for this hack job?

Walked in, was completely ignored. Nobody asked me what I needed. Sat there for ten minutes and left after not being acknowledged.

Another reviewer here commented that this is your «classic black barbershop.» I’ll admit that of the ~10 people I saw in here I was definitely the only white guy, but don’t think for a second that this will keep you from getting an awesome cut (or whatever it is you’re looking for.)
Me? I was looking for a beard trim in a hurry. I usually go to The Gents Place and pay $ 25 but I didn’t have time to deal with an appointment so I checked Unilocal,found Hands of Glory, and decided to give it a spin.
It’s not your typical barbershop/​salon. It’s laid out more like an office, with a window up front, then a bunch of separate little rooms that have been converted into different spaces.
Jeremiah found me when I walked in, asked what I was looking for, and said he could take care of my beard trim. We chatted for a few minutes about what I wanted and he was great about giving me some different options.
Needless to say, this turned out really well. I was extremely satisfied with the shaping he did and found it to be on par with — if not better than — far more expensive trims at some of the more upscale places.
Definitely go see Jeremiah for your barber needs and let him know you read Steven’s review on Unilocal! (He’ll probably have no idea who I am but I’ll mention it next time I see him!)

My hair cut needs are met here! This is a good barbershop! Stop by and see my barber Shaun, he’s pretty new to the dfw and can get you in at most times!!! I like this place because it is a real barbershop! Also, they do ladies hair on the other side of the building!

I LOVE my stylist Kisha. She knows how to make a girl feel pretty.
