Halo Salon

Mina does an amazing job every, single, time!!! She is phenomenal. I decided to go red/​auburn for the fall, something I was super nervous about! Sent Mina some pictures and she created a masterpiece!!! It was the perfect red/​auburn. Nothing too dramatic and nothing too settle. For a great price, Mina takes really good care of me and a lot of my friends that go to her regularly!
I’ve been getting so many compliments on my hair since then and I am OBSESSED! She even gave me tips on how to style my hair. Finally, I learned how to style my awkward bangs that no longer look awkward :)
Aside from that, Halo salon is a SUPER cute salon in a convenient location. The décor is modern and clean and all of the staff there really seem to know what they’re doing! I highly recommend! :)

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. First of all the salon itself is super clean and simple. Loved that. Second of all, my cut with Edith was the best haircut I have ever had in my life. Most women can relate to the struggle of finding a stylist. I am no exception to that struggle and have been dealing with it for YEARS! For the first time in my life, I left the salon legitimately excited for my next haircut. My husband doesn’t prefer short hair for me, but even HE said it was a great haircut.

Why hasn’t anyone mentioned Edith for cuts yet??? She is awesome and I second everyone that loves Vanessa for color.

I followed my colorist Amy Davis to Halo from another salon. Very glad that I did! She referred me to Liz Vela for cutting my hair. Liz is amazing. She is very thorough, focused and precise when cutting my hair. You can really tell she loves what she does.
Amy Davis does my color and she is fabulous! She always seems to know what my hair needs whether it be that little extra pop of blonde, or some lowlights to break things up. She is fantastic with blonde, but I know she is great with red as well as she used to color my sisters tricky red hair before she moved out of state.
I have referred numerous friends and co-​workers to both Liz and Amy and all have been thrilled!
The salon carries all of my favorite brands — Kevin Murphy and Kerestase — which I love.

I LOVE this place! I had been going to Rachel Voss for awhile and then ended up moving to Phoenix about a year ago. I tried a few hairdressers in Phoenix and none really made my hair look as great as Rachel did. Luckily I was in Dallas last weekend and was able to get an appointment with her and now I’m happy again! I originally came to her from a recommendation from a friend and have since recommended many friends to her that love her as well! You will not be disappointed if you get your hair done with her. I used to get my color done with Tiffany as well, which I loved and wanted to do it this time around again, but unfortunately an appointment was not available so I’ll have to catch her next time! I’m coming to Dallas again in October and will be visiting this salon again!

Was referred to Brittany H. by a friend from work. Went in on a whim for balayage and found out that is what Brittany specializes in. I had never colored my hair before and Brittany did a great job! I still love my hair and have told all of my friends to go to Brittany! 5 stars well deserved :)

Vanessa does my hair for full highlights and she does absolutely magnificent work! I have been going to her for 3 years and have never been let down. I love the vibe of Halo and how it is so low key and relaxing.

Great location, beautiful space, totally low key and unpretentious salon. Get Dallas Glam hair without the douche factor so many salons have. Everyone there is a friendly face, very welcoming and happy to see you no matter your style. I can’t say enough how refreshing it is to go into a salon without having someone who works there give me a once over like either A) I’m not hipster enough, or worse, my diamonds aren’t big enough to be there. I’m here for a haircut, not a fashion show. Enjoy my standard uniform of yoga pants and an unwashed ponytail.

I’ve been going to Kelly G for almost 6 years. I love her! (And Halo Salon!) When I moved to Dallas, I had pretty damaged hair from dying it so much and was in the process of getting it back to the color I wanted it to be! Kelly took care of that right away and has continued to do so for the last 6 years. She knows what looks good, yet is is always on top of the latest trends if you want to switch things up. (She even does extensions.) Kelly is thorough and efficient, and I always leave feeling so great about my hair. (She gives a great blowout too!) I would definitely recommend going to Kelly for cut, color, more. She has truly become a friend to me – you can tell she cares about her clients and values each and every relationship!

I definitely recommend this salon! I was kinda skeptical at first to try out a new salon (was always unhappy with every salon i had previously went to) but I heard good reviews about it so I decided to give it a try. So happy I did!

I highly suggest Rachel V if you go by hers! She’s great with both color and cut, and I always have friends making comments on my hair after I get it done with her! Well worth the visit!

The place to go in Dallas!!! My hair is really thin and I had extensions for the last 5 years. Brittany Helberg helped me through the process of removing them and giving me the best cut! My hair is fuller and my confidence is even higher! She also does a great ombré! I was always scared to color my hair because it was thin & fragile, but I’m addicted now! It comes out great every time and every season. She’s definitely the one to see if you are looking for a change, cut, or color! Highly recommended in my book.

Terrible experience with hairstylist Tiffany. I have never felt so discriminated and treated so inferior, it made me feel uneasy and in shock. Tiffany approached me in a very rude and simply awful manner about my little girl playing her toy flute. She said, «take your child outside.». Seriously, take my child outside? When I asked for a manager, Tiffany denied any managers worked there. This salon has no regulations denying children thus my strong appeal. Whether it was because I was not dressed the part or I didn’t look a certain way, no one deserves to be treated or feel the way that I did. I will never forget the way she made me feel. Simply appalling. Never going back. Tiffany is bad business for Halo.
Vanessa (stylist), Adam (reception) and Bri (mgr) were the complete opposite. They turned the situation around. Thank you all so much!

Based on Veronica’s shampoo/​style her waves are amazing! I like the salon vibe.

My hair stylist, Amy Allen, recently moved to Halo Salon and I was hesitant to make the switch but thought I’d try it out. I absolutely loved Halo! Super cute interior, very friendly staff. Dedicated parking lot which is great since parking can be such a pain in that area. Amy also informed me there was free valet in case I couldn’t find a spot next time. Checking out was fast and I absolutely love the fact that I can make my next appointment online.
Amy Allen, as always, gave me an amazing cut. Somehow she always manages to give me exactly what I ask for but even better than what I was imagining. It’s like she can read my mind or something!

Stephanie is the best hair stylist in Dallas! It’s convenient location to downtown off Central Expressway is easy to get to.

I’ve been here twice and each experience just gets better. I get my haircuts with Michael and my color from Heather. Such amazing people and true artists. Best in Dallas.

First visit at Halo and got a cut with Joelle! She listened to my ideas and gave her input and knew what to do right away. It was a busy Saturday but the rush did not compromise quality. Will be back to see her!
If they serve wine for their clients then i’d give it a 5 stars! :D Just sayin!
