Great selection of specialty bottles. Not the best customer service. There are other great liquor stores in the area cheaper too. There customer rewards program is confusing they say I have 5 bucks in points but I can never use it.

I only go to this location because it’s convenient sometimes. I used to love Goody Goody ’til Spec’s entered the Dallas market. I still love this place though. I guarantee you won’t be Goody Goody by the end of the night with some ethanol. Seriously, happiness starts here. Drink when you’re sad. Drink when you’re happy. Drink because you’re lonely. Drink for celebrations. Whatever the reason is… just do it. Their prices are a little bit lower than most liquor stores. But prices on the clearance isle are even better. Oh the good old cheap liquor. Never seems to learn my lessons. It gives temporary happiness, temporary hangover, but ratchet/happy memories for life, that if you don’t blackout. Thanks Ethanol! You make everything so much more fun. Love you long time.

I’ve been a big fan of all the Goody Goody’s I’ve visited in the area. They didn’t have the specific liquor I was looking for(in their defense no one else I visited did either) but offered to order it for me… and also told me which other Goody Goody did.

Good selection bad service My friends visiting from another country came here with me, we were all carded at the door. they have foreign IDs but after a few minutes we were allowed in. We shopped around for 20 minutes or so, they decided to buy beer elsewhere because it was much cheaper at a gas station, I go to the register to make my purchase and the guy at the register ID’s me again, and asks for all of their IDs too, even though they are not in line and ready to leave. I tell him the guy by the door checked us already, he rudely says he doesnt care and he needs to see everyone’s IDs again. I try to explain to my friends in another language that he wants to see IDs again, and they guy cuts me off meanly saying IDs now or get out of the store. It had not even been a minute! The clerk. yosemite sam looking angry old white guy. finally rings me up after the ID checks, after telling me he can card anyone as much as he wants too. what an A$$hole there was no need to be so shitty to us. With so many liquor stores in the area customer service should be more of a priority, goody goody will never have my money again, and I will forbid anyone I am with from going there.

One of the best liquor stores in town. Good prices and the people there actually know what they are doing. Not often a big deal but I did spend quite a while roaming around a competitor’s liquor store over the holidays looking for a bottle of St Germaine liquor since no one who worked at the store knew where it was, and it turned out they had it and I found it. I was regretting the whole time not going to Goody Goody because I usually get the same scotch and it is easy to find, but if I ever need something else they point me right to it. It also seems hard to compare prices sometimes because there are always sales or deals at liquor stores, but Goody Goody seems to be a little more of the Walmart(always low prices) of the liquor store world.

My favorite place to buy beer and alcohol. The selection is excellent and usually the prices cannot be beat. They have a HUGE selection of wines and if you can’t find it, ask, someone will help you. I especially like the selection of micro-brews and imported beers. This is my go-to liquor store.

Oh goody! Most of the time, the liquor store gets the reputation for a place where you have to hurry in, while all the winos and lushes try to panhandle money to feed their habits. Once inside you see checkers with bloodshot eyes a cop/security guard and many a shady character shopping. I must admit I used to have that same point of view until I came to Goody Goody. First thing I noticed was that the parking lot was full of cars and people, sans the vagabonds. NO one asked me for money during my whole trip other than the checkout guy. The store is huge, clean and well lit. There are tons of spirits, mixers and wines(didn’t notice their beer selection as I am not a beer drinker). You can easily split the store in exactly in half, half liquor half wine. Moreover the selection is very broad and is arranged by type and/or country of origin. I have never searched for something that they did not carry. If I cannot decide their staff is knowledgeable and there are many suggestions and reviews printed on the shelves. For example, I was looking to try a new port. I stumbled upon Presidential Port, because of their review, it’s turned out to be my favorite port brand. With all these positives you would expect the prices to be hire than«Discount Liquor Stores», well there you are wrong. The prices are consistently cheaper! Take home a Goody bag!

This place has apparently moved since Shannon reviewed it because it isn’t tiny or cramped. It’s one of the largest liquor stores I have been in. I went in here for just Whipped Lightning(the alcohol infused whipped cream) and Red Bull to go with the Jägermeister that has been sitting in my freezer for the past 3 years for when my best friend and her husband come to visit. Not only did I walk out with 3 cans of Red Bull and 2 cans of Whipped Lightening… there was also a bottle of Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka, Whalers Coconut Rum & Appleton Estate Jamaican Rum in my bag. Ooops. The employees were very helpful, helping me find what I needed and even carrying out my bag for me. This place is not exactly a convenient location for me, but since my area is dry… I will be coming back here. I enjoyed my visit here a lot more than the other Liquor store I hit up a month or so ago.
