My family and I went to Fishbone last night. I would definitely say it is a family friendly establishment and the staff are very friendly as well. We had the shrimp cocktail which we thought was just okay. We also had the shrimp queso that we loved! We had the giant seafood platter which was just as you would expect… a giant fried seafood platter. They had a lot of beers on tap which was nice. Overall I think it is a decent casual dining restaurant.

Unilocal, I’m a fan of the Mexican Cocktail! Very casual seafood restaurant. The menu is pretty standard as seafood joints go. Yes, this is a seafood joint. Very good food.

First time here while visiting Dallas. Found this place by accident. Nice atmosphere, nothing fancy, and GREAT food at very reasonable prices. We will DEFINITELY be back. The shrimp queso was awesome. S little kick that have great flavor and served with clearly house-chips.

Casual seafood restaurant with outdoor seating. They have fried seafood with french fries and also healthier options. I’ve ordered several different things on the menu and it all tasted good. I’ve had the Popcorn Shrimp, Shrimp Po Boy, Crawfish Pasta Alfredo, Blackened Salmon with Grilled Vegetables. All were good. They have a Giant Seafood Platter with french fries, hush puppies, stuffed crab, and fried clams, shrimp, catfish, cod, and tilapia. That I’ve shared with other people and everyone liked it. Clean restaurant, good prices, and wait staff is friendly. I will be back.

Walking into Fishbone Grill and walking out — felt like picking up a girl at the bar and realizing that her bra was stuffed and her tan was sprayed on. It looked great, but left nothing to be desired for afterwards. I notice the SHRIMPQUESO. What??? Queso WITH Shrimp? Yes please. How can something so delicious lookin’ be so disappointing? The cheese tasted and looked like it was squeezed right out of a tube. I almost think the only reason why the queso was even«warm» was because the cooked shrimp kinda heated it up. It was basically the type of fake neon cheese you get at the ballpark, with micro mini pieces of grilled shrimp with cilantro(not enough) and onions and tomatos on top. Nothing could have saved this. I thought maybe lets add hot sauce? No. Maybe Lime juice? YES! But the waitress gave us lemons instead and well — it made it a lil better. The«chips» were basically fried tortillas and well I love anything fried. I tried the«Fish & Chips» and the«Shrimp Feast» Another disappointment. The Fish from the«Fish and Chips» was bland. No flavor whatsoever, it wasn’t even salty and I love salt but because I am trying not to eat salt — I struggled hard. We thought maybe if we adorned the bland fish with seasoning and sauce it might help. We squeezed lemon juice on it, dipped it in tarter sauce, shrimp sauce, malt vinegar, added tobasco. It didn’t save this poor lil fried fish from a lifetime of bland. Oh and isn’t fried fish supposed to at least have white lookin’ meat? When you peeled away the batter from the fish, the meat was slimey and kind of grey and mooshy… hmm. The Shrimp Feast I was expecting was going to be a platter of different types of shrimp.(Think Red Lobster and shrimp scampi) No. It was fried. ALLFRIED. And though I love a good fried coma — this was not the place to get one. DOTHEYJUSTTHROWEVERYTHINGINBATTER? How about Battered Tarter sauce? Even the Tarter Sauce was terrible. NOTHING had flavor. The Tarter sauce tasted like straight mayo. Finally I just had to stop eating. Which NEVER happens to me.
