Really poor service. Waited for ages and even after we asked it we could order we were ignored.

Their chai latte is tasty, it wasn’t that hot thats why Im giving 3 stars. Also, it was too sweet. Place is cozy. Love the bishop area.

This is for the espresso only: the place is chill and nice, the cashier was very friendly. Unfortunately, the barista has no idea how to pull a proper shot or correctly steam the milk. She let the shot go way past the point of appropriate extraction – getting into bitter territory, the milk was totally scalded with no microfoam. She didn’t know how to pour, the list goes on. The whole thing was a mess and it’s entirely a lack of training. Really sloppy barista skills. If you want well crafted espresso drinks, look elsewhere.

Great coffee place conveniently placed right in the middle of Bishop Arts District. This isn’t your weak starbucks stuff, if you want to truly experience coffee flavor for what it’s supposed to be I highly recommend this place! My favorite is their latte both iced & hot. If you’re not a coffee lover you might not like this place too much, my wife wasn’t too crazy about it, I ended up drinking hers when I brought her here. But it’s all in the taste, and even the coffee she got didn’t fail to disappoint me.

My first visit to this place was awful and I vowed to myself I’d never go back. That changed when a friend raved about their empanadas. Although I still had extremely low expectations, I tagged along anyhow. Mind changed! Completely delicious coffee and food.

I love the little strip this café is situated on. I’m not normally into pop art, but I did like their pop art-esque paintings that adorn their walls in the café. I really liked the double espresso I got. I didn’t really like the bored, not really happy to be there service. My friend loved his coffee smoothie of sorts drink that he got. It’s not a destination café for me, but if along this street and in need of an espresso fix. I wouldn’t think twice about stopping in here again.

Hard to not like a place that greets you with an espresso size hot chocolate smothered in whip cream. Ordered a medium latte and a Chicken & cheese empanada($ 2.75). Latte was foamy perfection(2 shot 12oz $ 3.99). Asked for empanada to be heated. Empanada crust was delish but interior was cold. Disappointing to be cold as even cold flavor was still great– imagine what hot could have done for flavor?! For a hot cup & quick snack in Bishop Arts this is a good choice.

Best little coffee shop in Dallas. Hands down. There’s nothing trendy, pretentious, or oppressive about it. A wonderful little menu with a wide variety of excellent drinks. Wifi. Never a ton of people. European football is always on the tvs. Delicious empanadas and treats for all parts of the day.

The moment our party started discussing the need for caffeine, lo and behold, Espumoso Caffe was there. It is as though we made them appear out of nowhere so in we went, especially since there was a «Best of Dallas» or something similar in the front. As it was a cold day, I ordered one of their frappes while my friends ordered latte. The drinks were alright. My frappé was overly sweet while the lattes did not impress my friends. Maybe they were just having an off day because we could not believe that the drinks we had was considered among the best in Dallas. The service was alright. The space was alright. The neighborhood is cool. While I was not overly impressed, I can see myself giving them another try next time I am in the area.

I did not enjoy the coffee. Either there was chicory or some other spice in there that did not agree with my palette. Next time just the ice cream.

Giving this 5 stars because the employee was super kind to me and my cousin! I was visiting the Dallas Zoo and decided to go to Hunky’s Hamburgers, the location which this coffee place was near to. I needed an electronic place to find a charger for my phone so I can find my way home. I asked her if she knows any electronic place but instead, she let me used her charger! I was uncertain because I didn’t want to intrude but she didn’t care! I found my way home because of her. Blessed her heart! Not only because of that situation I’m giving this place 5 stars but because of the pastries and the way they treat their customers! Helpful towards customers and their maple pecan bars are amazing! Hope to go back soon!

Very good. I will be back. It’s very difficult to find a good café con leche in Dallas. Espumoso’s has a pretty good one. It reminds me of the ones I get in Florida. The empanadas are also good and satisfying. I’m excited about going back to try more things.

A-OK is a good way to sum it up. We had a decent experience here. The staff was prompt if not overly friendly, and the teas we ordered were just fine(given to us in to-go cups although we didn’t ask for them that way). I think the thing that threw me off the most was the large flat screen television playing Jerry Maguire on TNT. Not usually something you see in an otherwise sort of cozy coffee shop. I’ll probably be back, but not to sit and read or work – I’d need cozier seating and no TV. To be fair we didn’t try the food, nothing looked all that impressive, but I’ve heard their empanadas are great.

I have never been able to get service in here. IT is so strange. I wait and wait and wait. It is a matter of them taking drink orders then filling them before they wait on the next person in line. So if you are lucky enough to not have anyone in front of you so you can at the very least be acknowledged then awesome. Otherwise, you will be collecting dust like an Elf on a Shelf. The product is awesome I have been told and the prices seem reasonable. But they also use syrups instead of making in house. 2 girls just stand by the ice cream section and one person runs the coffee section. May be just me, but if that dude is struggling but can Barista like a boss, hop over and run the ccard for waiting customers and allow him to whip out drinks. It is a cute spot and a convenient pop in on the main drive of bishop.

Get the arequipe pastry!!! It’s another term for dulce de leche aka food of the gods, and it’s combined with guava jam which sounds odd, but is perfectly perfect amazingness. Perfect puff pastry crispiness with crunchy sugar crystals outside, perfect contrast and melding of flavors inside. Combine it with an indulgent espumoso frappé and I feel preeee-tty pampered indeed.

I love this place so much, I am not really sure why I have fallen for this place… I think one of the reasons why I love this place so much is that it is very cute inside… I want say corky but I’m not sure if that is the correct word or not. The interior is kind of what they could find but it works really well… from the mismatch chairs & tables it feels as if you at your college friends house gossiping and enjoying good cup of joe. Another reason why I love this place is the coffee… I live in this area and have tried almost all the coffee spots and this one to me is the best… I always get a vanilla latte and it’s the best damn latte ever… It reminds me of visiting my friend in Brooklyn and going to all those local coffee shops… It makes me miss my friend a ton… The last reason is that the staff is very friendly here… This place will always be my coffee joint…

I love cafes with pillows and windowsills where you can sit and look out the window all emo-like. If you ignore the side of the café that looks like a deli, you can really get inspired by the artwork and coffee aroma. Espumoso frappé = Frappuccino. Packed with sugar. Great for people watching.

Great small coffee shop, the small part being the only downer(or plus point if you like the place all to yourself). Situated in the Bishop Arts District, it’s a good place to spend the afternoon or take a break from perusing the surrounding shops. Every time I’ve been there, I feel like there is a group of people from a foreign language meet-up or something. The coffee is decent, and the barista takes his/her time making whatever you order. No rush here. They also have a variety of snacks, including empanadas and ice cream. I would say the empanadas are better than the coffee. The window bench area is my favorite spot — good cushion, it doesn’t get too cold, and you can see all the passersby. Very eclectic music selection. Street parking only, so it can be tough on weekends.
