I’ve been using Diversified as long as I’ve owned my home, 22 years. My brother referred me to him and I have never regretted making that 1st call. You can’t ask for a more honest air conditioning man than Jerry. He won’t price gouge you, won’t lie to you and he knows his business. He will go out of his way to make sure you’re a satisfied customer.

I am one of those warranty customers you guys refer to — I have warranties on five of my seven houses. Imagine your ac problems at your one house and then multiply that times seven! My warranties give me peace of mind — but only when they send out a qualified guy to fix a covered failure. I have had probably ten times as many a/c problems as you have so I have encountered every kind of scam artist and hvac-trained parolee you can imagine over the years. Diversified is the one company I can always count on to give me the honest analysis when it comes to trouble-shooting a breakdown. I am no longer at the mercy of unscrupulous vendors because the warranty company makes these guys show pictures of the problem they want to fix and nothing gets replaced unless it cannot be repaired sufficiently. I love having this safety net, but unscrupulous people even slip through the cracks with warranty company vendors, too. But, whenever I do not agree with an eval, I ask them to send out Diversified for a second opinion and it is always spot on. They come out same day sometimes and work late into the night to get my tenants back into the comfort zone. They always fix stuff with parts instead of telling me I need to replace an entire unit. And unlike some of these clowns, they never ask me to pay them hundreds of dollars under the table for cleanings I don’t need in order to bribe them to get the warranty company to cover it. This company is the real deal — I am sorry you did not have a great experience with them, but I am super relieved that such honest people are in the hvac business. R

Look, these guys are a heating & air company that does the majority of their business on warranty claims — they contract with the home warranty services and so they have guaranteed business. With that lower expectation, however, they actually fairly impressed me. They aren’t super professional, and they aren’t super schedulers, but the techs did a good job of estimating arrival windows and calling ahead. I had two different sets of techs — the first was two guys working together(one seemed to be apprenticing). They were as expected — reasonably knowledgeable but really they just wanted to put refrigerant in the system and resisted checking anything else(it was also after 7pm and a non-emergency call, I appreciated that). I called them out again because it still wasn’t running great and the second guy who came was very knowledgeable. He told me things about my system that I didn’t know and came up with a good diagnosis, was honest with me about the challenges of moving forward, and helped me figure out a good plan of action. So all in all, no I probably wouldn’t call them outside of a warranty claim, but if your warranty company sends them out they’ll probably do just fine. They’ll probably do fine low-end work and even their work outside of warranty claims will probably be on the definite cheap end.

Beware of them. Their staff doesnt know a thing !! They keep taking advice from their owner while at job? what kind of experienced handyman does that? They tried multiple things with our A/C system and still couldnt get it fixed, on top of that their technician messed it up so much that now our A/C doesnt even work(it blows hot air) and our inside temperature is 94F We have been burnt and warn all of you to stay away.
