I really don’t have much to say about CVS — good or bad. But, by reading some of these past reviews, it seems as though I have been rather lucky! We used the drive thru pharmacy once and the service was quick and efficient. And then, I received an automated phone call letting me know my percription was ready and I went to pick it up, only to be told it wasn’t there. I am not ready to write them off yet, but I am not overly enthused, either.

My doctor sent in two prescriptions that I needed to start immediately, but when I got to the pharmacy to pick them up, the pharmacist said there was no record of either in their system. Upset, I called my doctor’s office, who called the pharmacy and then called me back informing me that they DID have my prescriptions. When I went back later to pick up, I spoke with a pharmacist named Thai. He informed me they couldn’t locate the nurse practioner’s supervising physician in their system and so couldn’t fill my prescriptions. I was able to give him the doctor’s information, but then it turns out that my prescription plan doesn’t participate in the discount program I was trying to use to get a month’s worth free. Ok, no problem — I’m able to pay. Then, obstacle #3 — the lower dosage I need was out of stock, and they couldn’t get it until Monday. Thai saw I was in tears and spiraling downward, and he gave me a few pills of the higher dosage that he did have in stock along with a splitter at no charge to me to get me through the weekend, and told me to come back on Monday and he would have it filled. Just FYI — this pharmacy is frequently out of even basic medications, and there are usually cops in the parking lot at all hours of the day. Nonetheless, Thai provided excellent service, and I am very grateful!

Worst pharmacy I have ever been to! Doesn’t deserve a single star. Takes 30 min plus to pick up a basic refill(with no line), the phone is routinely not picked up, prescriptions called in by doctors are typically lost or ignored. The staff is slow, appears unintelligent, and doesn’t care about device in the least. Stay away!!!

Do I even have to give a star for this piece of trash establishment. The phone is always off the hook, the staff looks freshly released from prison, and they constantly screw up any prescription or give out the wrong prescription assigned. Please fire the entire store and tear down the building. Better use of a parking lot.

Updated review. This pharmacy has become very slow. I ask for refills through the CVS app, but they never get pulled and filled. So I show up a few hours later and they look at me like I just landed from outer space when I ask for my prescription. If I try to call the refill in, no one answers the phone. In fact if you’re in the store you can listen as phone calls are ignored. Today I tried the window drop off after my wife was discharged from surgery. Two hours later I returned and the pharmacy clerk had to go rooting around to find the prescription which hadn’t been entered in the computer yet. The only reliable way to get a prescription filled here is to hand carry your request and stand around for the next hour or so until they get around to it. Very frustrating if there is an acute need for the med. use CVS due to insurance issues. This pharmacy sucks. Oh, did I mention the last time we had a refill, they shorted the prescription by 66%. Well, three hours after dropping the prescription off and over an hour waiting, the pharmacy clerk calls out to me that he needed the dr phone number cause they couldn’t fill it w/o the number. I have the number in my phone. I give it to the clerk, he looks annoyed that I can find it so fast. Can’t they look it up? No, they’re too busy ignoring their customers to actually do something to expedite the prescription. If their belly had been cut open today, I think they’d be sure to take good care of themselves. Where do incompetent pharmacists go when they need medication?

Trashy with a capital T! This is the worst pharmacy I have ever gone to, the entire pharmacy staff is borderline literate or they just don’t care to such an epic level that it seems this way. I have a twin sister that used this pharmacy over 2 years ago because it was close and when I put in my prescription, instead of calling to verify the name and insurance number, they just assumed that because I have the same birthday and last name that surely, we must be the same person… right??? So when I went to pick up my prescription they tried to charge me full price, and I had to battle this person to prove that I was indeed who I am… That was fun, but then several months later, i came in to pick up another and was told that I only had one more re-fill, so I made an appointment with my DR in Plano, drove all the way out there and paid for my visit, just to find out that I had 3 more months worth and the pharmacy is just incompetent… THANKSGUYS! But wait… there is more… I turned in a prescription a week ago and apparently it was expired, so instead of calling me to let me know, or calling my DR to simply verify that it is still ok to fill it… they just tossed it in the trash… So when I went to pick it up today all I got was a shrug, and«I’m sorry but you will have to call your DR» so here it is… the weekend and there is no way to get this straightened out, it’s a good thing it wasn’t high blood pressure meds, otherwise I would have had a stroke by now… Not only this but, the inside of the store is down right disgusting… I saw a needle on the floor in the back and the carpet looks like it has NEVER been vaccuumed… ever… it’s horrifying. Please take your business down the road a bit to another location and let this one go out of business… Trust me it is worth it never to have to deal with these people… You have been warned

First thing I did when I returned home after picking up my prescription? Changed the pharmacy. Before going, I called twice to check on my prescription and they had no record of it. So I came in around 9pm with my paperwork that I did, in fact, have a prescription. As it turns out, they misspelled my name. So they filled my prescription right then and there. Almost forty minutes later, I received my prescription and left. First mistake: They misspelled my name and couldn’t locate my prescription. Second mistake: The girl answered a personal call from her cell phone right when my prescription was ready. Third mistake: The girl looked at me and said I was done, when clearly, she did not give me my change of ten dollars. Terrible service, terrible customer service, and just terrible. My husband and I used to go to CVS all the time, but not this location. Now, we’ll never go back to any CVS. Sad, because this was a convenient location. Happy, because there’s a Kroger’s down the street.

This is possibly the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. We just moved to Dallas about 8 months ago and my husband pointed out the pharmacy employee’s incompetence after our first visit but I brushed it off because I thought maybe they were having a hectic day. Turns out, they are disgustingly incompetent and their incompetence was always an issue each and every time I went there to refill a prescription. I went there on Friday to fill my husband’s script but they informed me that their computers were down and weren’t taking any new prescriptions. I then went to the CVS on Preston and they were extremely professional and actually knew what they were doing! I decided to give this CVS one last chance today but they kept telling me that insurance wasn’t covering my refill and that I had to figure it out with my insurance myself… which is weird because I know for a fact that it would be covered. I then went to a different CVSAGAIN and got the prescription filled with absolutely no issues. I called the Pharmacist Sam and told him that I am never coming back to his pharmacy again and I asked him to retrain his employees because I’m sure they’re screwing a lot of sick people out of getting their medication.
