As much as I tried to give Chef Ashonti the benefit of the doubt, she really was a disappointment. She cancelled on my big 80 guest event 2 days before and never refunded the money, of which I am still in the process of claiming from my credit card company. She has a nice personality but not refunding money when she cancelled the event herself is completely unprofessional and just poor customer service. I would not hire her again.

Chef Ashonti is amazing! Her food is so delicious and I would for sure recommend her to anyone in the Metroplex! I love the fact that she is a healthy cook and encourages a healthy lifestyle! You name it… I don’t doubt she can cook it. She’s a true southern girl and it is reflected in her food Unilocalers you need to book her for your parties and she does meal prep too! So if you don’t like to cook or don’t know how… She’s your girl!

Chef Ashonti catered a party at our home two weeks ago. She did an excellent job. Chef Ashonti was very easy to work with, had great ideas, and was able to create a menu that accommodated both our non-vegetarian and vegetarian friends. The menu was really fun for a party (mini red velvet chicken and waffles, turkey meatball sliders with kim chee, stuffed mac and cheese, ceviche shots, spinach and artichoke dip, veggie basil lover’s pasta, veggie mac and cheese, kale salad, and desserts made with grand mariner). Also she prepared her special watermelon tea, which was delicious. The presentation was very nice, and the food stayed hot for a very long time. Our guests complimented the food the entire evening. I highly recommend Chef Ashonti for your catering needs.
