I had a lunch special rolls. It comes with salad soup, california and a choice of your roll. The price is reasonable. And food taste average.

I ordered the following rolls to go: the Spider roll, Alex roll, and Jalepeno volcano roll. The Alex roll was decent, the Spider roll was poorly wrapped, and the Jalepeno volcano roll was charred pretty badly on top where I can taste the burnt pieces. I ended up having to pick off all the charred parts on top. For a 15 dollar roll, I expected better…

This is an above average place for its price and setting. I thought it was a bit odd to hear country music at a Japanese restaurant. But hey, change is cool. Good service and food was good. The selection is very big with pictures menu(excell my idea)!! Good for the quick lunches or dinners.

Love this place and have been coming here s8nce shortly after they opened. Ther owner and chef, Tim, is one of the most personable and caring restaurateurs in the DFW area. The sushi and kitched dishes are always fresh. They have lunch specials Monday thru Saturday and happy hour sushi specials M-F in the early evenings. Great place, great deals, great owner!

C-rolls is our family’s absolute favorite local sushi place. Fantastic staff, welcoming atmosphere, and of course great sushi. Many sushi options are provided included brown rice options, cooked rolls, and rice-less rolls with soy paper or cucumber. Be sure to catch their happy hour from 3:30 — 6:00 Monday-Friday.

5 stars for good food and GREAT lunch specials! I have to say I’m glad I found this place here. This restaurant is a smaller, cozy, dimly lit place. The bar can seat five people. The staff here is very nice and friendly. I’ve only been here for lunch and have to say they have amazing prices for their lunch specials. They have sushi combo lunches as well as bento box lunches. I had the sushi combo lunch with King Tiger roll & California roll(you choose a certain roll in a selected list and the lunch special comes with California roll, small salad, & miso soup for $ 11.99!). I have to say the rolls were good(I wouldnt say amazing and the best) and definitely worth it for their lunch price! My King Tiger was delicious but not as tightly rolled as it should be because some fell apart partially(the second time I came the first time was fine). California roll is good and had a good amount of crabmeat in it compared to some other restaurants. I definitely will be coming here often for lunch!

Cute and dimly lit cozy restaurant with friendly staff and servers. Wish I could rave about their sushi because while the atmosphere and service is great, the sushi itself is alright. Not bad, but not memorable. They have an extensive sushi menu with tons of pictures of all the speciality/fried/baked rolls, great for those who like a visual of their food.(It’s okay to admit that you judge some entrees purely based on its aesthetic. I do that too.) I’ve been here a few times, but decided to order the crunch roll during their happy hour special. It was the perfect size, knowing that I would be getting dinner in three hours, but had I had an appetite, I definitely would have needed to other another roll or two. Overall, this restaurant is a nice place to go with a friend or two and catch up because of the home-y atmosphere, just don’t expect the WOW factor.

The 3 stars was solely based on service. I ordered a volcano roll to go and they were very nice and quick. However, I was very disappointed when I got home. They put onions in their volcano roll. Yuck! It was too bad too because everything else about the roll was perfect but the onions completely ruined the flavor. I’m going to give this place another shot and try a different dish.

I love coming here during lunch breaks because it’s never super busy so there’s no wait, and the food is so good at such a reasonable price. They have great lunch specials. I’ve had the bulgogi and tofu bento boxes and the sushi roll lunch combo. Their rolls are the best because they don’t use a lot of rice and they stuff the rolls with more substance(fish, cucumber, avocado, etc). Everyone who works there is Korean and they’re all very friendly. The lunch bento boxes were around $ 8, and the sushi roll lunch specials were around $ 12.

I came in on a Sunday afternoon and it was fairly busy. The staff was very nice and polite. After ordering, they give you a complimentary salad that comes with a really good dressing. The food comes out at a good pace. It was good, nothing really out there or crazy. Just your typical sushi restaurant fare. It’s at a convenient location so I think I’ll return.

I come here often with my friends and its an easy convenient place to eat sushi with friends. The servers are cute, super friendly and efficient. The price itself is reasonable but the sushi itself is mediocre. Still its one of my go to places when craving for sushi.

So… my family is a regular. Enough to know the owner, and he comes by our table to chat every time. Everyone is super friendly, and always greet with grins. Ambience ***** Music makes for a casual chat, usually some soft alternative. Just the right volume to sit around the table with. They changed up the layout but kept it modern and tasteful. Kind of small place, so not for a giant group of 8+. Usually I wouldn’t recommend sushi for a group that big anyways. Food quality and variety ***** Amazing. Best. And consistent. I wasn’t quite into raw fish at first. The texture felt like I was eating a tongue. THISPLACEISAMAZINGFORSUSHIFOREVERYONE: RAWFISHORCOOKED/BAKED FISH. It has an amazing variety for those of you who aren’t into it. It also offers some rolls that have raw fish that appealed to me before I really ate the raw-fish-on-top type rolls. Will admit, it’s pricey, but that’s pretty standard for sushi. For some rolls, you can order half a roll if you don’t want as many pieces(table for two or something). Nice presentation. Doesn’t ever look«thrown together.» Details and specifics(I’ll add more when I have time) Salad-good, simple. Dressing is unique, but I like to get it on the side. Edamame-nothing special, but a nice start to warm up for a sushi feast. Tuna or salmon tower– yummy. Nice presentation. Good manageable kick of wasabi. Raw recommendations: Autumn– very unique. Amazing flavor. Cooked recommendations: Frankford or Baked Salmon– everytime we order, too excited to think about anything else and wait for it to cool down. Worth it to put all other sushi pieces aside. Comparable with Densetsu, but I like this one just a tad more. Flavors are simple and yummy as opposed to overwhelming and everywhere.

Being from California, sushi is a personal thing for me. I’m a stickler when it comes to the type of ingredients they use and their potency of flavor. I still haven’t found anything like I’ve experienced back in the Golden state, but C-Rolls comes close. It doesn’t hurt that they’re just down the street from my new pad. They’ve got great lunch specials, & one of these days I’m hoping to make it to one of their happy hour deals. Atmosphere is dark and cozy, & everyone is very friendly. They go above & beyond for take-out. I asked for extra ginger & wasabi, and man did they deliver! I love anything with raw salmon, but their tuna– and shrimp-based rolls did not disappoint, either. Until I find a place that meets my ocean-front standard of sushi, C-Rolls will be my go-to here in North Dallas for now.

Love this place. Quaint and efficient. My one complaint would be that they play Top40 music which does not necessarily identify with a Japanese restaurant. Otherwise the meal and experience was fine.

Today was my first visit to C-Rolls. I placed a to-go order over the phone and was told a estimated time of pick up. When I arrived, the place was packed. I let the host know that I was picking up an order to-go. The host let me know that the chefs were a little behind, but my order would be ready in about 5 minutes. 30 minutes later, I asked the host the status of my order. He let me know it wouldn’t be much longer. No apology. While waiting, I heard two tables complain that they had waited over an hour to get their sushi and when they received it, the sushi was warm. I finally got my order(tuna roll, salmon roll, and mushroom tempura) 15 minutes after I talked to the host. Total wait time was around 45 minutes for an order that had been called in an hour and fifteen minutes before. I hopped in the car, food in hand and headed home. The rolls: very large pieces of fish that tasted fresh, but sloppily rolled and falling apart. It’s not the look that counts, right? I would give the sushi a «B». The tempura: barely edible. The crust was thick, and tasted bitter. The consistency was comparable to batter on fried chicken. Not your typical thin, crispy, light batter. The mushrooms weren’t warm all the way though, and the sauce on the side was overly salty and(Again) Bitter. I tried a second piece thinking that maybe I ate a faulty first piece. No luck. The tempura gets an «F». Overall, I’m not overly impressed. I would eat the sushi again, but I’m staying away from the sides. I’ll also eat in, and stay away from the take out option unless I have a lot of extra time on my hands. I may just stick with bonsai sushi in Dallas. Little further drive, but they blow C-Rolls out of the water in both food and customer service.

Pretty good! I got the timmy roll which was delicious. I also tried my friend’s pink and green something roll and that was pretty good too. The pink one, I thought, was better. He liked the green one because he’s a wimp when it comes to spicy food and the pink one was the teeniest bit more spicy. Sorry I cannot remember the name. I had another roll too but I cannot remember what it was called. I do remember it was pretty good, but not as good as the timmy roll. All the rolls I tried were tasty. We got there kind of late Friday night and stayed until they were about closing. Servers remained very friendly and cordial and even offered to pour more water. We felt bad for staying so long so we left. Another group came in and seemed to be regulars here because they knew the sushi chef. I want to get to that point where I know the chef. Anyway, pretty good. Close to work. I liked it. :)

Not bad! They accommodated our special requests for no mayo, service was fast and friendly, rolls were creative. I’d visit again. Atmosphere is not as good as Sushi Robata but it is nice to change it up now and again!
