What to do when there are 3 food trucks? Try a bit from each, right? I just got the $ 4 coconut chicken taco here. The coconut curry chicken with mango was quite tasty, not too spicy, with big chunks of chicken. I definitely want to try some of their other items. They used a good flour tortilla and it didn’t fall apart on me.

Nothing special if you have access to a good Taqueria or more around the metroplex: but if you can’t or dare not walk into an ethnic establishment, these guys do a decent version without the language barrier. Their Chicken Tacos tasted best when I tried them, the other meats were dry and boring.

What a great chance to have a tasty lunch today. I had an Amazon Local deal to use and am quite happy that the truck was near where I live today. I had the Coconut Mango Chicken, Cilantro Lime Chicken and Beef Stroganoff tacos. Everything had excellent flavor, perfect seasoning and sauces. The only downside is that they do not park in front of the building where I live. I could eat their tacos every day they were so great.

I had the pleasure of dining at this fine establishment at the Deep Ellum Outdoors Market today. For the first time in my life, I read a taco menu and couldn’t understand a single item. That’s because they were all South African-influenced! One of the 3 men was born in South Africa, so hence the direction for the tacos) I had the Beef Goreme and the Gator with Pickled Okra tacos. Delish! I’m a sauce person, but you definitely don’t need to add any condiments to these tacos. The meat were flavored very well, and you can tell these guys took the time to make sure they come out moist and extra flavorful. I highly recommend hitting up this taco truck if you get the chance!
