Bad customer service with the girls. You call and all they say is we will be right with you and place you on hold forever. You try to call in an order and it takes over ½ hour to get the food! The food isn’t the greatest, they burned a grilled cheese, and I don’t know why they feel the need to be rude. Management there should probably hire more mature people, not snotty high school girls who care nothing about customer service. Too bad you can’t give 0 stars! I’m only going to Farmer Boys for now on.

This five star is for the great customer service I had today with both cashiers. My boyfriend and I came in and they were both friendly and very helpful for us being first timers there. I ordered the patty melt and my bf ordered some deluxe burger with bacon and avocado. They were both ok. Both tasted plain to me, fries as well. But don’t worry, We also ordered the fried mushrooms and those were DELICIOUS! I would definitely go back for that and the great customer service. I’m sure they have other items on the menu that are just as good as those mushrooms.

I personally love this place. The food and ranch-I am picky with my ranch-are delicious. Additionally, I am a big proponent of great customer service and I feel this place has it. Just today, Lucia(cashier) helped us order the perfect amount of food and Maria was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Everything we ordered was really good at this café like place. They have such a huge menu that it was so hard to make up our minds on what to try. So we ended up going a little overboard and ordering WAY too much food. Be advised the portions are gigantic!!! Even the salads are big. I didn’t expect that at all. Typically when you get a salad somewhere it’s small. Not at Paul’s place! Granite you are gona pay $ 10 for a salad so there better be something special about it for that high of a price! And there was. The Caesar salad came with tomatoes, croutons, slices of egg, and slices of avocado on top. Very good! Also some slices of pita bread accompanied the salad. The grilled cheese was bland tasting– wouldn’t order that again. The fried zucchini is as everyone said– amazing! Make sure you get ranch for dipping those! The feta fries were good but the flavor got old after awhile for me. Definitely a shareable size order of feta fries. And the burger with mushroom was devoured by my boyfriend and he said he was in heaven while he was eating it. I know we will be back for sure.

As if the drive thru wait time wasn’t long enough already. Leave it up to PATTY(the drive thru cashier) to make it even longer by flirting & catching up with the old man in the BMW. She had 4 cars waiting is drive thru and I waited 15 mins for my food. Even after I yelled out REALLY??? When I could hear her give out her number she still didn’t care about the line she had waiting. I don’t mind waiting for my food but when the cashier thinks it’s cute to pick up on customers and make everyone else wait, it’s F’n annoying! I love this place but employees sometimes suck!

Still have yet to have a bad meal here… This trip I tried 3 new items I never had from here before… beef taquitos, twister fries and a Cali Deluxe Burger. The taquitos were crispy crunchy and balanced with the cool guac. Only compliant if any was that the beef was so tender that it melted away and turned gummy… to be continued

Great food! But drive thru is slow! It seems faster going in and picking up your food but less convenient.

Manager Patty should take a class on customer service especially working at a fast food place. They messed up on my drive-thru order and her solution was to give me 10% off my next order since I called more than 30 minutes after my order was placed, I drove 15 minutes to get there. All I wanted was them to correct my order but apparently that wasn’t an option. Didn’t physically meet her but she sounded inexperienced and had an attitude as if her job was not important to her. Maybe the owner should pay attention to the way she treats customers. Won’t ever come back to this location and I would recommend you check your order before you leave the drive-thru or you will be offered 10% off the next order they mess up on.

Here’s the thing about Pauls Place, it is a burger stand that tries to do a little too much. They also offer sandwiches, salads, gyros, Mexican food, Greek chicken, etc., etc, They make a pretty decent salad there(I especially like their carne asada taco salad), but what I don’t care for is their burgers. It’s not that they taste bad, but at lunch time they try to stay ahead of the lunch rush, and pre cook a bunch of patties. More often then not, you end up with a cold burger, and not melted cheese. I would like to see them pare down their menu, and pull off the food a little bit better.

Mostly good food where it counted. Coleslaw and taquitos were bad but Gyro and urge were good. There were two big problems. the first is that they don’t have any napkins available in the restaurant and the server forgot to bring any for us and at least one other couple we noticed had to get up and get napkins. It’s really frustrating having your food hot and ready to eat but you’re missing something to be able to get started. Since they hide them behind the counter, if the place is busy you have to work very hard to try to get some napkins. The second issue is that the trash cans or completely overflowing. It looks disgusting piled with plates and food brimmimg over the top and all around the surface. I could not decide between two or three stars but unfortunately our negative experiences weight heavier on the overall experience.

Great location for a fast food restaurant. The décor of the restaurant is very nice. The theme of the restaurant is very home like and comfortable. You feel as your as home relaxing. The place is clean, has friendly helpful staff. Smiles everywhere! This makes you want to return for sure. They bring the food to your table. A huge plus. This place has a drive-tru. In case you don’t to get out of your car. The classic music they play inside reminds you of the car hops! The restrooms were 100% clean. Kitchen prep area clean and organized. The inside had plenty of space clean tables to choice from.

First let me say that the feta fries are an addiction and the fried zucchini too! They have pretty good food for a diner/burger joint. But we had to stop going to the Paul’s on Knott and Cerritos because the air make up fan for the hood exhaust fan in the kitchen is either broken or they have turned it off. Therefore the air is drawn through the bathroom water/sewer pipes and it smells so bad you can’t eat there without smelling the sewer. We go to the Paul’s on Knott and Orangetrope or Los Alamitos. If they get this fixed we will be back. I’m giving Paul’s four stars because I like the other Paul’s and noticed that all the one stars were on the not recommended list.

Atmosphere: Casual. Diner like setting Favorite Item: Fried Zucchini. Paul’s Place is getting a 3 star because their staff is horrible each time I have been to this location it was pulling teeth to get my order correct.

Paul’s Place is my local joint for heavy, comforting food. I go here for burgers, fries, and fried whatever. Portions are large and the prices are reasonable. One thing to note is the parking lot could get pretty full on the weekends. Also, the drive thru could be a little slow at times. 3.5 stars

First of all, I don’t know what category this place belongs to because it’s half fast food and half dine-in. It’s fast food because they offer a drive through, but it’s also a dine-in restaurant because the dining area is a lot nicer than fast food chains(It kind of reminds me of a Dennys scene). Anyway, whatever category it belongs to, I would recommend it because the food here is pretty good! I just think the basic things here are a lot better than the fancy things and what I mean by that is that their Bacon Cheeseburger is a lot better than their fancy Blue Cheese Burger. One thing is for sure though, you must try their onion rings because they are the best there are anywhere! I promise! Every time I offer somebody a ring, they always rage about how good it is! Even my mom who is the pickiest eater on the world said it was really good! The customer service here is also really good. My family and I ordered five different complicated combos, and we surprisingly received everything correctly. They do get really busy during dinner hours, but that doesn’t affect their customer service at all. I do see myself coming back in the near future!
