Well first off this isn’t about the food, we absolutely LOVE5 guys! My kids ages 4 and 7 always make this the first choice when asking what did they want to eat. This is strictly about how unprofessional, rude and just made the whole experience awkward with the STAFF on hand working the night shift if May 22, 2016. It was 8:45 pm we walked into this location with my 7 yr old son and I now mind you we’ve been coming here more frequently because it’s a closer location from our Original spot in HB, Best location ever anyways lol First thing I noticed is when walking up I can see through the window the manager LAURA when seeing us walking up she didn’t hide her disgruntled facial expressions so boom already making it uncomfortable. I get it 8:45 pm nobody in the restaurant, the place closes at 10 so basically an Hour before closing you wish nobody comes in so you can clean up and hope to leave earlier than normal but you forget you’re working at a food chain that serves to the public and your dam establishment closes at 10 pm so suck it up or get a new job. 2nd so we walk in the music is so loud I thought we were in a Club smh we walk up and LAURA still with her disgruntled looks and her whole body expressions were as if she didn’t want to help us. She does not even greet me or my son, no Hi, how are you today literally she just sat and looked at me waiting for me to speak so RUDE! Then as my kid was climbing up to get peanuts, while I’m giving her my order, she speaks over me to tell my son to please not climb on it, now she wasn’t rude she said it politely but the music was so dam loud I couldn’t understand her fully. Now I’m ordering and LAURA is just not very customer service friendly at all, oh let me apologize for making you work smh wtf. Now as were waiting for the order we’re sitting at the table and my 7 year old flat out says Dad, that lady was kinda mean huh, I said why son he explains Dad it wasn’t when she told me to get down, he said Dad it’s her faces, she was making faces while you were ordering. Now I was upset because now I knew she made my son feel uncomfortable. I never complain about any business’s before but now that you LAURA have made this experience for my son uncomfortable I will complain and hope the owner of this establishment takes actions. As we continued to wait 2 more customers come in and they both received hellos and how are you doing so she’s very capable but as I watched the 1st customer a young African American male give his order he tells her he can’t hear her cuz the music is way loud, she screamed to her staff turn it down and she has to scream 2xs for them to turn it down. The music playing was not appropriate at all for an establishment. Songs were talking about smoking weed, sex etc. Literally the other male Coworker along with LAURA advised hey turn the station on the iPod. Anyways I hope you see what type of experience your establishment is running at night with your manager LAURA for all future customers coming. I doubt we will be back cuz I don’t want anyone spitting in our food but I just hope you speak with little Ms. Laura! She made a 7 year old uncomfortable hope this makes you a better person LAURA…

I think I have reviewed Five Guys before, but not at this location. This is the burger chain giving In-N-Out a run for its money. One interesting facet is the free peanuts you get when you enter. I thought this was kind of odd when going to eat burger, but my nephews loved this. I rate burger chains on their burgers, fries, and shakes. I really love their burgers. They have two patties with hand packed meat(which I think are a little juicier). I like that grilled onions and BBQ sauce are two of the options. The bun is good also – a really solid burger. I was not a huge fan of the fries compared to some other places. It may have been the seasoning. The shake was good, but I usually like them thicker. Overall, I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a great burger.

Food was fine service was terrible. I don’t remember her name but it was a blonde woman working when I came on a Saturday night. Her attitude was disgusting and after interacting with her I left. Ruined the restaurant for me as well as my night.

First, I should have gone to The Habit for lunch instead. There are two burger joints in the area right by Target in Cypress. The Habit and Five Guys Burger. I decided to try the Five Guy Burger today because I was just at Target and will never go back to FGB again. The service was horrible and the food was just okay. I ordered a burger without tomatoes but the girl obviously saw tomatoes on my slip because she put them in my burger. Then when the guy handed me my order I said, I didn’t order tomatoes but I saw you guys put tomatoes in there, can you take it out? The guy behind the counter proceeded to hold the burger, wrapped in foil, in his hand and slide the tomatoes out in front of me while other condiments came out of my burger like he was in his own kitchen or as if he was handling his own food. I was shocked to say the least and then I said…“do you think you might want to do that over the counter instead of here over the trash can???” He shrugged and said«well it would be the same thing.» I could NOT believe how bad this place was. No class, burned fries, a mistake order. No wonder The Habit across the street is packed every time I go there and FGB only had about 5 customers during peak time lunch. I will never go back to this location and will not be recommending this to any of my coworkers who always go out to eat habitually. Do yourself a favor, go across the street and eat at The Habit.

I can’t say I’ve ever really been a huge fan of five guys. I’ve always thought that their burgers were decent, but the fries… oh, the horror that comprises those fries. They reek of peanut oil to where it completely overpowers the potato flavor as well as the Cajun seasoning that they offer for the fries. This location has offered good burgers in the past, but this time, I ordered a little bacon cheeseburger with everything and bbq sauce. The restaurant wasn’t very crowded at all, but it took around 20 minutes to get my food which is kind of a long time for a fast casual restaurant. The burger was covered in mustard to the point where it oozed mustard, and all I could taste when it bit into the burger was mustard. It was really gross and I threw most of it away. It was inedible ever after I tried scraping off a lot of the mustard. They also raised their prices a bit, so I don’t really think it’s worth it to come here anymore.

First off let me say i love cheeseburgers 5 guys is one of my regular spots I have never been to this location. and i will never return I downloaded and installed the APP for 5 guys. placed my order. And paid up front $ 15 bux for a cheese burger. small fries and large drink I used the APP to try and save me time… im disabled as well .so waiting in lines is not fun for me So 10min drive after placing my order I arrive. no line. maybe like 6 customers in the store. .over half the seats are open Get to register… confirm my order.“which they dont verify id or card used“ Waited 20 minutes for my undercooked burger and fries I waited so long i called their 1 – 800 number I tried to talk to the«manage on duty» he was to concerned with cleaning the tables I read some of the other reviews as well To the owner. i highly suggest you fire ur management and staff and start over. Every aspect of my visit was terrible On top of it I watched an employee take a hot dog off the grill. walk it over to the prep area. then walk back over and put it back On the grill I go to the 5 guys up in Santa Fe Springs on the regular. Even during the lunch rush… never had a issue Same with most the locations in AZ This place needs some serious help

Food is always great… expect for one problem. Last two times I have been here I have gotten diarrhea. Not too sure, but that usually indicates bad health hygiene. The stomach usually gets diarrhea in response to viral illness or fecal oral route. Won’t be coming back her unless I stop caring about my health.

Disappointed with my $ 8.50 bacon cheeseburger. Didn’t have any bacon and all I tasted was meat, first time I was disappointed with Five Guys and won’t be going back

This is my last time going to Five Guys. My order took for freakin ever to come out and when it did the burger was just indescribable! A small, mushy, blob smashed into a foil ball. $ 7.19, fries were DRENCHED in Cajun seasoning, so disgusting. $ 3.89, regular sized drink– they have the cool machines with all different choices, but when you go to pick any of them they are ‘unavailable’ the one that finally did come out was missing syrup and all carbonation… $ 2.29! For a small! A nasty burger, regular fry and small drink plus tax… $ 14.44!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! The prices are out of control. 1 star given for friendly cashier. The Carl’s jr in the parking lot is sadly — tastier, cheaper and faster than this place. Save your money!

The food is always great but the service needs a tune up. At the lunch rush hour they only have 3 people. I went today and the door was still locked at 11:02. The one girl I saw looked at me and just went to the back and ignored me so I left. I just went across the street to the Habit.

Had to see what all the hype was about, and I can conclude that this place is GOOD. Burgers and fries are a bit on the pricey side but definitely good eats. The meat is flavorful, tasty, and cooked just right. The fries are incomparable. The food is served hot and you can even taste the freshness. This place is amazing! It’s clean too and the staff are incredibly friendly. They even have free shelled peanuts for customers to snack on while they wait. Recommend this place to anyone nearby looking for some damn good burgers. Five stars for Five Guys!

Five stars for Five Guys. Five Guys Burgers and Fries or should i just say Fries and Fries. The Fries: The best fries ever! firm and nice tasting fries. And did i mention that they put an extra scoop of fries in the bag… yes this was just a great way to satisfy a customer. Interestingly the fries are fried in peanut oil. Burgers: was well done and juicy. Drink: The drink station is cool and is touch screen with several drinks option to choose from. Customer Service: Friendly, courteous and not the scripted/stereo type greeting. Cleanliness: Restrooms, dining area was clean. Also noticed some cool posters, info in the restroom like best and worst places for burgers etc. Peanuts: Finally the peanuts, yes Free peanut in the shell while you wait(self-service). I would surely agree that«Five Guys knows Fries»!

I went to five guys after church one Sunday with my husband and brother in law. And just for 3 people I paid almost 50 $ really? If I’m going to pay that much I’d rather go somewhere a little fancier. Anyways. I still think it is tasty, but for some reason this location made me never want to revisit five guys. Not even 10 minutes after leaving I was on the side of the road throwing up all my food. I was sick for 2 days from eating here. I’d rather have in n out.

Easy to order online. They label each item with a number that coordinates with your receipt making it easy to order for a large group. Good burgers and hot dogs.

Always good food, everything is A La Carte which is the way it should be. Combos are overrated. I prefer their regular fries(warning one order of fries will feed 2 people easily). Burgers are cooked to perfection with the toppings of your choice. Thick juicy patties and all beef hotdogs make this food yummy and decadent. Free peanuts in the shell while you wait. They also have those cool soda machines that dispense like 100 different types of soda/waters! Great service, decent prices, awesome food! Can’t go wrong here!

This was my first time at five guys and I’d say it’s an okay burger place. It’s better than your average fast food place but definitely not as good as in n out. There was no line when I went around lunch time and ordering was easy. It’s simple and they have burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches. I’ve heard the burgers are huge so I got a little burger which was perfect. It was like a regular sized burger. The great thing about five guys is that they have a huge list of toppings and you can put whatever you want on it at no extra cost. Our food came pretty quickly and it tasted good. Nothing spectacular but it was good. My dad and I shared a regular fry and that was the perfect size since they basically over fill the cup so there’s extra in the bag. The fries were actually really tasty, though. I’d come back to five guys, as its a good burger place, but it’s not the greatest. Clean, tasty, and quick: Good place to check out.

This is a fairly new Five Guys location that recently opened in Cypess at the corner of Katella and Knott. The location sits in the corner in a busy shopping area surrounded by several strip malls on every corner. The parking here can be a bit tricky at times as they have been doing mass construction in this area for some time. The layout for this location seems a bit smaller than some of the other locations I have been to but they make the most out of the space available. They really don’t have any outdoor seating(maybe a table or two shared with businesses next door) which would be a small negative. We went in and having been to Five Guys dozens of times in the past we knew exactly what we were going to order. The food came out fast and fresh although the Cajun fries at this location were wayyyy over seasoned. My wife hardly ate any of them and passed them to me and I too had a hard time getting through them. The burgers were made perfectly and tasted great as always. The Cypress location also features two of the new soda machines which have 100’s of flavor options. This was nice to see as it brings a whole new dimension to the drink stations and really opens it up to more people. This location may have a few kinks to work out with the food(mainly the fries) but overall is doing a pretty good job thus far since opening. I hope this location will be flourish as they are the closest to our house and I hope to continue eating here for years to come.

I love Five Guys… I first had it in Maryland well before they came to the West Coast. Since then I have dined at the 1st California location in Carson, then Cerritos and the Orange location and a few others. This location is my favorite, because its close and offers a little extra… including the Coca-Cola fountain with the 100 or so different choices. This location is a little different than other Five Guys because you can stand there and watch them customize your burger behind the glass. Lots of veggies to chose from, sauces, ect. Its kind of funny watching newbies order the bacon burger, not realizing its double meat. Silly burger people, baby burgers are singles and regular burgers are double. Their large cajan fries can easily feed a family of 4, however my husband and I never have a problem eating them between the 2 of us. They do not melt the cheese usually, but I am sure if you ask they will. Excellent Customer service. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I accidentally ordered the baby bacon burger, not the baby cheeseburger and they quickly put a slice of cheese on for me at no extra cost. I was also eavesdropping, because that’s what I like to do and overheard a web-order customer was waiting a while for his food. The employee helping him told him, he was buying his next meal and took his name and info down. That’s pretty darn cool. One thing you cant do is compare Five Guys to In and Out. They are completely different. Give Five Guys a try or two and they will win you over.

First to review! If you have ever been to a Five Guys, you know what to expect: great burgers that taste like homemade. They *just* opened this location and they are rocking it hard with an extra large crew that is 110% on the ball! Watch out, Paul’s!
