Note to self: BYOB! Pizza was excellent and server attentive. There were not many dining in tonight, but a lot of in/out traffic for takeout orders. I will definitely be back, but I will bring some wine with me!

You’re not coming here expecting anything fresh or good service. I came in for a quick meatball sandwich was sat down after waiting 15 minutes I finally walked over to the counter and there was nobody else in the restaurant and I ask the girl what happened to my sandwich she started taking a bag of frozen meatballs out of the freezer and bread that was stored on top of the oven that you would buy from HEB I asked her that my meatballs that you’re cooking she said yes of course I cancel the order and left. Are they kidding me nothing else needs to be said.

My hubby and I just had the freshest Christmas most delicious dinner salad here. Highly recommend this joint

Expensive for everything appearing like it was out of a can and the«garlic bread» was like Texas toast out of the box. We had the chicken parmesan and the chicken was thin and dry. We also had the chicken kale ravioli. The inside was good but the sauce could have been better. It’s texture was like mushy butter.

We ordered fried breaded mushrooms and the centers were frozen. Ordered drinks and there was black slimy mold in the cups. We left quick fast and in a hurry before we got sick. Worst restaurant I have ever been to in Houston.

My wife and I had heard about Palio’s, so we thought we would place a delivery order one night when we did not feel like going out. We ordered their Samantha pizza, a spinach salad and shrimp scampi. I specifically asked that the Samantha pizza have no onions. In fact, I asked twice, once when I was telling the person on the phone my order and again when she was recapping my order. The food was delivered in a timely fashion. However, when we opened our order we realized that: 1. They failed to deliver our garlic bread that comes with the pasta dish. 2. The pizza was covered in onions. 3. The pizza was all crunched up in one half of box and id not resemble a pizza at all. Frustrated, I called Palio’s back to voice my concern(With driver tip, the meal was over $ 50.). I was told, «you might have gotten the wrong pizza, let me get our manager». I waited for a few minutes and then got disconnected. I called back and was told to wait again for the manager because he was busy right then. After waiting a few more minutes, I hung up and called back. I asked to talk to the manager and was told«the manager was busy managing the restaurant». So, I waited a few more minutes. The manager eventually got on the phone, I explained our problems with the food order. He seemed sincerely apologetic and offered to send us another pizza or offer us a 10% discount the next time we place an order. Since by that time, it was getting fairly late, we certainly did not want to wait for another pizza. In addition, we thought the future 10% discount offer was pretty insignificant, especially since we have no intentions of ever ordering from Palio’s again. My recommendation, especially after reading other reviews for Palio’s, would be that if you want to try Palio’s, dine in and skip having food delivered.

The pizza here is fabulous and it is BYOB… that’s a great combo! We’ve also had several pasta dishes, and they were all very good. Some of the vinyl seats need to be replaced — that would make the place seem quite a bit nicer.

I order pizza from here all the time and take it to go. They always make it in less than ten minutes and it tastes awesome! The people at the register are always friendly. The only reason id give four stars instead of five is that it is a bit overpriced.

The worst Italian food I have had ever. My appetizer of fried mushrooms were burnt. My main dish of shrimp and spinach pasta was tasteless and they only gave me 3 shrimp that weren’t even peeled or deveined. The garlic bread they have with my meal was Texas Toast from the hen or Walmart freezer. It was $ 50 for me and my 2 year old daughter. She had a kids pizza that tasted like it came out of the freezer. If I could give it negative stars I would. Don’t waste your money here.

We ordered this using the Eat24 app. The delivery time was a bit longer than we expected(1.5 hours), but the food was very good for delivery! The stuffed mushrooms caps were great. My husband had the pasta arrabbiata, and he loved it. I had the shrimp with spinach, and while the flavor was really good, I did have a slight prob with the shells still on the shrimp. It was a bit expensive for takeout, so we are glad the kids weren’t around, but we expect this would be a wonderful done in restaurant as well.

Love this place. Friendly and its BYOB! We enjoy the family meal salad and 2 medium pizzas for three and we take some home.

1 for 3 After reading the reviews I thought I’d offer my experience over 3 interactions. 60 days ago: Order arrived over 2 hours after confirmation. Not only was the food cold, but the order was missing more than two items. No plastic ware, receipt, or napkins. Driver literally handed over the bag and said, «Thanks» as he was turning to leave. 30 days ago: Order arrived freaky fast! Food was fresh, but again missing two items(entrées; not sides). No plastic ware, receipt, or napkins. Different driver. Same experience. Dump and run. 1 day ago: Order arrived quick, BUT nothing was as the menu described. Everything was packaged sloppily and portions were smaller than any previous order. Driver handed me a bag while saying, «Everything’s there» and just like that he was gone! Impressive Jedi skills for a high schooler. Conclusion? Don’t waste your time or money on this place. There is ZERO consistency or respect for their own production.

First the pizza was good BUT… Very disappointed with the way they served a supreme pizza. This place will jip you on toppings. I asked for extra mushrooms and I couldn’t even see them once I opened the box. I had a friend pick this up for me so I would have disputed with them the way they cheated me. I’ll go to this place again because it was tasty but I’m keeping them accountable

The specialty pizzas we’ve tried(The King, Hawaiian Sunrise, & Jack Daniel’s BBQ) have all been really good! Placed an online order which took about 45m. Polite delivery service. The pizza arrived hot with a crisp crust, well balanced toppings, & not greasy! Perfect late dinner option. Definitely a step above typical delivery pizza! Plan to order from them again whenever we are in the mood for a pizza night!

We almost did not come here after I saw the Unilocal ratings, but we were on a road trip and the kids really wanted pizza. We came at 3pm on a Saturday, so our experience may be atypical. The place was clean and adequately staffed. The pizza was better than average. I ordered ravioli and it was swimming in a massive bowl of sauce. The pasta and sauce were obviously not home made, but we’re still decent. Our waitress was friendly, polite, and attentive, which was a pleasant surprise given all the negative comments by other reviewers. The food was a little overpriced. Overall, not too shabby. I probably would not come back unless the fam wanted to, but would not steer anyone away.

I have to admit that the service was rather terrible. Got the order wrong, the food was cold, and we had to get our own refills. Alright, so all in all the evening was craptastic. I did tell the manager and he listened. Will it change anything? I am not holding my breath on it, he at least seemed to listen and pay attention. I might try them again in a few weeks… maybe.

Service was rather pushy and left a bit to be desired. Mozzarella sticks were a gamble we shouldn’t have taken — they tasted frozen and were overcooked. A medical drama, showing unappetizing surgeries, was on the television. An odd choice for the dinner hour. At this point in our visit we were sure we’d found a dud; however, we went ahead and ordered and were pleasantly surprised. The Palio’s Eggplant pizza was delicious, the fried eggplant tasted fresh and the fresh basil was appreciated. The pepperoni and Italian sausage didn’t disappoint. Both had a tasty crust and, neither was greasy. We’ll be back occasionally for the pizza but, takeout may be the best option.

I had a concern about always getting put on hold every time I called, and Rachel assisted me when I arrived at the restaurant, and I will say the food was awesome! We ordered the margherita and a pepperoni pizza. Kids loved it too!

I recently ate here with my family. There were 7 of us in total on a Tuesday night around 7PM. First I will say that this place is BYOB. We were not aware of this when we came in. Fortunately, there is a Randall’s grocery store right around the corner so we just went and got some spirits and brought them in. I felt badly for the poor waitress working that evening. She was the only waitress there and I’m sure that a party of 7 on a Tuesday night is rare. She handled herself well under the circumstances and she was very friendly. We ordered fried mushrooms, stuffed mushrooms, and quesadillas as appetizers. The fried mushrooms were not good(overly breaded and overly fried) and the ranch was a little watered down. The stuffed mushrooms were okay(loaded down in mozzarella cheese) and I didn’t try the quesadillas. I wouldn’t order quesadillas from a pizza place but to each their own. We ordered 3 large pizzas for dinner — the King, which is like a surpreme, a Meat & Cheese, and the Grace’s(alfredo sauce & spinach). I tried the King & the meat & cheese and both were delicious. The toppings tasted fresh & like high quality. The crust tasted homemade(not frozen) and crispy(which I like). I did not try the Grace’s but my family seemed to love it. If you try this place out, I would suggest sticking with getting pizza and not any of the other items off the menu — just based on our appetizers. Pizza is great though. Bring your own booze and call ahead if you are going to have a large party to make sure they have more than one waitress working. I can’t speak for the delivery service but the pizza is good… Actually, better than the pizza anywhere else around here that I’ve tried. Atmosphere was just okay.

I regularly visit the Palio’s in Allen, Tx because it is hard to beat their gluten free crust. You can’t even tell you’re missing the wheat! Tasty pizza flavors. The service is meh. I was refused service and asked to leave when I entered with my medical service dog that it properly identified with her bright red vest, patches and my handler ID. When I told the employee she could pay the owner’s $ 4,000 ticket for refusing my service she said dogs still weren’t allowed, so I sat down anyway. PALIO’S CYPRESS, PLEASETRAINYOUREMPLOYEESTOTREATTHOSEOFUSWITHMEDICALSERVICEDOGSWITHRESPECTANDACCORDINGTOTHELAW. She is lucky she did not persist, or I would have called the authorities, and then I could have filed a formal complaint with the attorney general. Tsk tsk. Make pizza. Not war.
