I have been here many times and tonight the service was just weird. The waitress took two of our orders(party of 4) walked away, then came back a few minutes later to finish taking our order. Had other waitstaff provide refills. Had to ask waitress to clear table of appetizer dishes when the entrees came. Food was decent, but not how it normally is.

Metty was exceptional despite the limited staff and menu due to the constraints caused by the flooding this week. My triple dipper was fantastic as always! Thank you for great service and good food!

What can I say, I am normally a fan of Chili’s. Maybe this comes from my younger years with the Austin Powers movie where Fat Bastard wanted his baby backs. I do like the fact that a half a rack to the normal ribs is on the 2 for $ 20 menu along with an appetizer. I also confess that I have ordered two ½ racks of ribs along with the appetizer for myself under this special as it is about 2 to $ 3 cheaper than ala carte. On this occasion, I ordered the fried pickles. They were extremely salty and inedible. The waitress indicated that the pickles were made on-site which explains why it was not consistent with the other two to three Chili’s that I frequent. I am sure that I’m not the first one to complain, but they were more than willing to exchange my fried pickles for the panko fried onion rings. These were delicious, but they could have used the thickest part of the onion as I had a couple that were so thin that I barely tasted onion. This reminds me of the Burger King onion rings which had mostly breading and a few pieces of minced onion mixed in with the batter. Service was great and so was the free dessert that was sent to my email with a purchase of an entrée. It’s just everybody join the Loyalty Club as I receive two to three coupons a month for either a free appetizer or dessert. This time, I got to try the new Berry crunch which had the traditional cake on the bottom and drizzled berry sauce over the top and crowned with vanilla ice cream.

This place needs renovation. Service and food were fine but bathroom nasty. I’ve heard to look at the bathroom and that tells you if they keep the kitchen clean.

I came her with my wife on a VERY busy Friday night. I almost walked out after reading the reviews and thinking«Uh Ohhh… I think we should leave». We stopped at 7 other restaurants that night and None of them could seat us in less than an hour. They were all 1.5hrs or more. Sheeeesh! We got a seat in 10min here. Probably because of the terrible service and reviews here on Unilocal. The place should be empty, right? No. It was full and we still got seated. Now I have been to many restaurants with lots of great reviews only to be disappointed. Who are these people putting in phony bologna reviews? This is the first time the opposite has occurred. I sat down an prepared to be under whelmed. BUT… The service was great thanks to some extremely hard working servers. and cooks too. Who are these people complaining and putting in such bad reviews? Bunch of whiners. Oh… wait… I know… here they come… a table of 21 right next to us. A TABLEOF21! What the!!! Has anyone worked as a server for a table of 21… young kids too. The food was good. Not 3 star Michelin restaurant but good for a Chili’s. So I was pleasantly surprised. The only hiccup was our food arrived before our drinks because of a jam up at the bar … I guess. The manager made it a point to come out and personally apologize. That’s good customer care. Thank you.

Chili’s has really gone down hill over the years. It used to be my favorite restaurant but now I hate going there. This location is the same as several others I’ve tried over the past few years. Horrible, slow, uncaring and inattentive service. So disappointing.

Can’t handle the smoke. They still allow smoking in the bar and it makes the whole place smell.

Customer service truly is terrible at this location. They just dont seem to care to acknowledge you. Yet when you pay for your to-go bill. They expect a tip. Can someone do a better job at hiring your employees.

Chilis has downgraded the quality of their food and service while focusing on adding items to the menu and modernizing the environment to keep up with trend. The food does not taste restaurant quality anymore but resembles more the quality of the dollar menu at jack in the box. Chilis used to be a regular family outing but corporate greed has disqualified this“joint“from being considered a restaurant. CHILISWILLNOTBERECEIVINGANYMONEYFROMMEANYMORE. NOTTHISLOCATIONORANYOTHER.

We sat ourselves in the bar area to watch the game… mistake #1 as it took 20 minutes before our waitress graced us with her presence. We placed our food order while ordering our drinks… mistake #2. We received our appetizers and not 5 minutes later our waitress brings out entrees! Really!!! Our waitress then explained that she brought them out so they wouldn’t get cold sitting in the kitchen. So I guess it’s ok that our food gets cold at our table, while we finished our appetizers! This apparently is a bad trend among restaurants that we’ve recently visited. It’s a damn shame that we as patrons have to time our own meal in order to have hot food. Food was mediocre at best. I will think twice before wasting anymore money at Chili’s.

Dirty! We went for lunch on Friday at 1:20pm. There were at least ten unbussed, dirty tables. The menus were coated in sticky film and the floors were sticky. Yuck.

Had lunch there today. Started out well, server seated and greeted us. Food came out fairly quickly but the food was not very good. Had the server came back soon after serving us the food I probably would have said something but I was on a time constraint. My burger had very little flavor, pretty bland in fact. I had to add salt and pepper. The fries were also old but had a decent flavor. Wife’s food was ok and she took the rest home. On another note. I really hate the table devices. While I u dee stand they are supposed to help the customer out so they can just pay and leave. But there has been a huge lapse in really good service since Chili’s started using these. I want the server to talk to me, tell me the specials/features not just point to a devise. I want to see my bill as well. This is the last chance a server has to make a good impression and its lost with the table devises. My recommendation, pull the table devices and only make them available at the guest request.

Food was good, maybe the service could have been better though. I felt rushed when I was eating though. Our server didn’t seem like she was interested in us or her job.

Wow… even the manager doesnt seem to care. How hard is it to distinguish between fresh avocado and guacamole? And then WHO serves cold avocado on a hot plate? The restaurant upgraded the décor and downgraded the service! Stale tortillas, overcooked fajita trimmings, stale cheese fries, it was just ridiculous! !

Our experience started with trying to sit at the bar due to the wait for a regular table, but the only table available was stacked with dirty dishes and a full ashtray. You can smoke where you eat? One more strike against Texas. Since the lone waitress passed by us busily twice without acknowledging our existence, we decided to put our name on the list for a table. The hostess holding a French fry in her left hand, graciously took pause from eating, and wrote our names down on the wait list. We ended up sitting at the bar as we finally got the table cleaned. Waitress took our drink order in adequate time, but returned with wine glasses that were covered with lip prints from previous survivors of this establishment. She gladly took them and came back saying that the bartender cleaned the glasses? I guess that meant he wiped the edges off. Hope I’m up to date on my innoculations. About this time, someone lit up a foul smelling cigar. The couple near us who just ordered a drink left in disgust. Then a mother sits at the bar with what looks like an 8 year old. Are there no laws in this state? Next I notice that my swaddled napkin/silverware/straw pack thingy included an empty straw container. Guess it was pre-owned. And the rest of the napkins had spots of food stains on them. All this and we haven’t even eaten our meal yet. Never, ever will I set foot here. Whoever is managing this place should be fired, feathered and flogged immediately. I don’t frequent Chilis, but I have been to others and never had this horrible of an experience. In fact, I don’t recall ever being this grossed out at any other restaurant ever.

Please avoid this place. Their service was horrible at the bar because their staff apparently operates on coast. No real sense of urgency to meet customer needs, and the place wasn’t even full! We had to ask about the specific drink specials. We ordered their new tacos entrée which lacked the typical Chili’s flavor. It wasn’t even served at room temperature. The beans and rice were bland and cold. #neveragain

Today we visited Chili’s expecting to have a great experience. We were hungry. Very. And so we chose it between the few places we had in mind. Our server was fine. However, the food was a headache. I asked for the flatbread, which was very salty. The wedges weren’t cooked all the way. And my friend’s tacos were small. The pictures of the food are like those of McDonald’s, once you get the food there is disappointment, the size.

Totally grossed out by our server having a bull ring in her nose! The only thing that was good was our chips and salsa. There was another server that obviously felt bad for the lack of service our actual server was supposed to do and was more helpful.

I ordered a burger off of their lunch menu for take out. I requested my burger be made with no mustard and no bun(I have a gluten allergy). Sure enough, when I got my food, there was mustard and a bun. I didn’t get a lunch today because they were too«busy» to actually read my order. When I called to talk to the manager, she blamed me for their mistake, and told me that when you order online, the order doesn’t come through the same way so it isn’t their fault. She made excuses, she interrupted me numerous times, she tried blaming everything on me, and she was rude. I have not had good experiences here the past few times that I’ve come, and I will never come back here. This restaurant has truly gone downhill.

One of my friends has always been a fan of Chili’s, but hasn’t been there for years because we always seem to pick something else. Since they have a new menu out and because we just wanted to be nice to him, we stopped in for dinner last night. My first comment is that the service was great. They were attentive and quickly brought out condiments and other requests. At this point you may be wondering, «What’s with the one star dude»? Well the one start is for the food. Apparently they are trying to serve fresher food, and indeed they are. It’s much fresher than I remember. The problem is in the seasonings. I ordered a guacamole burger, which comes with sautéed onions & peppers, guacamole, cheese, and some kind of cilantro lime mayonnaise I believe. The mayonnaise tasted more like sour cream and seemed a bit dry — like whey you zap a taco with sour cream on it in the microwave. Bafflingly, the onions and peppers really didn’t have any flavor. It was the same problem with the guacamole. It really just added texture. What was even more surprising was that the meat itself didn’t have any flavor either. I tried to add salt-and-pepper and more mayonnaise, but no matter how much I tried to doctor it up, it still tasted bland. I actually reached the tipping point where it started to just taste like salt. I also paid the extra buck for the onion rings. Those were a bit disappointing because I was expecting something a bit fresher. They were better than fast food onion rings but they still taste like they came out of the bag to me. I also tried out some of my friends ribs. Don’t get ribs at Chili’s if you live in Texas just go get barbecue. We should all know better by now.
