Pretty interesting Whole Foods as they have a Poke Bar(THESEAREPOPPINGUPEVERYWHERE), a Juicery, a Brewery Bar, and a Dosa Bar for Indian wraps and the like — the ones in Seattle don’t have this(yet). I love their bakery and have never had a bad thing from them — macaroons can become expensive, but sometimes the ones at Whole Foods go on sale for $ 1.50 — still I’m willing to pay $ 2 for a macaroon as well. Their desserts look as good as they taste — what I like about cakes at Whole Foods is that they’re not too sweet but retain moisture. Most people joke that Whole Foods is really Whole Check — since they are more expensive than other stores. This is true since a lot of their foods are organic, non-GMO, or gluten free brands. But I find that their store brand items, like the Everyday 365, have fair prices that are comparable to Trader Joe’s brand name. A smaller bottle of toasted sesame oil runs you at $ 2.99 at Trader Joe’s… while a larger bottle is $ 3.29 for the 365 brand. Not bad. Also Trader Joe’s doesn’t carry their own brand of plain Arborio rice for risotto — Whole Foods has its own brand and it’s only $ 2.99 a bag(the other brand was like $ 5.50 for the same size). I would just stick to their store brand items and sale items(easy to find with the yellow tags), especially since I think Whole Foods 365 brand is one that can be trusted. The only reason it’s docking a star is that there’s some kind of inconsistency with the cashiers and their ability to use coupons. Whether I have 3 coupons or 10 coupons, my check out time is significantly increased as the cashiers try to figure out how to use the coupon or if I’m allowed to use a coupon. It’s almost frustrating when I already organize my products and put the coupons on them so that they can see I’m buying them. Or you have the cashier that tells me I can’t use 2 coupons on the same product, when in reality you can use a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon on the same product as long as it doesn’t cause overage. I wish Whole Foods would just update their registers to allow cashiers to scan coupons(especially manufacturer) coupons, because I notice they often have to manually enter it in. The max amount if coupons I’ve used was 10, and it was causing a line back up — I wasn’t even trying to save a ton as I still had $ 40 to pay. @_@

whole foods can be a hit or miss, but this one is a great one no matter how many times I came here. the market is always well-stocked, hot and cold food always fresh and there’s always plenty of people who shop here, which is great because even with a lot of people, it rarely feels too crowded, and you know they then will have to turn over the product faster because of the demand and everything is therefore fresher, I will definintely keep coming back here

Whoo HOO! I’m SOEXCITED! I already love Whole Foods — I think they’re actually reasonably priced for the quality of food you get but what’s prompting this review and they REALLYPUSHED it and have tipped the scale with their POKEBAR! OMG — what a pleasant surprise… I knew they did it «sometimes» but it seems they’re doing it daily now! For $ 9.99 with three scoops of poke — with rice, greens, or mix, and a bunch of toppings that include FRESH slices of avocado — and three sauces to pick from! I’m LOVING it! The scoops are bigger than those other poke places — they may not have a huge variety but that’s okay… for the convenience and price… ANDTHEFRESHBIGCHUNKS of Poke! I got the spicy salmon, lomi lomi and Tuna… over a «mix» of greens and rice — highly recommend the greens on the bottom and scoop of rice on top… I got everything minus the jalapenos… but it includes diced mangos, onions, and some other things… and they top is with FRESHAVOCADO slices that they slice right there! And I topped it with poke sauce and spicy sauce! SOGOOD! ANDSOFILLING… for $ 2 more you can add two more scoops. Their poke was so FRESH and BIGCHUNKS! LOVE it… I was already happy with their cheese offerings, their soup selection, their«cookie» selection that you can put into a nice tin or box — makes a great gift! OH and they have the little«bar» area with the fresh selection of the day — tacos, oysters, etc… so FUN! And of course build your own burrito, your own sandwich. There’s so much they offer there — love that it’s a one stop shop. oh and did I mention their floral section — GREAT selections — fresh — and reasonably priced! LOVE it! The only thing is it’s so huge that it’s not a «run in for something quicK’ kinda place… it does get crowded but the service is outstanding… and the fact that you can pretty much find everything you want here… it’s perfect!

This review is for one of the staffs, Mike: I wanted to use a Whole Foods gift card but the staff wasn’t able to process it. His response was simply that I don’t have enough balance. So I asked to put the remainder on my credit card and for some reason he wasn’t able to do it. He kept smashing his computer and started cursing(dropping the F bomb). Maybe he was mad at the system and not me, but I felt that is kind of rude. I was then helped by another person and the transaction easily went through. Other than this particular bad experience, this Whole Foods is actually pretty good in terms of tidiness and inventory.

This review is only for the pizza counter. I LOVE this store overall. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful and the variety of things they have is awesome. The only consistently rude employee is the older asian lady at the pizza counter. Everytime I see her, I roll my eyes going«here we go again.» She has no customer service skills whatsoever and needs to stop being crabby because she has to help people. Hello, it’s your job. She threw my pizza at me after I asked for it to be warmed up, going«HERE» almost breaking my box. They also just switched over to a new system of self serve pizza but if you want it warmed up you have to ask an employee to do that, so one star because it’s more inconvenient for me now to be bothered by her crabby self.

Although pricey, I like this store for its selection, cleanliness, and bulk food section where I can buy a small amount of spices, herbs, loose tea, «00» flour(for making pasta and pizza crusts), zante currants(these are hard to find), french lentils, and black beluga lentils. Other items that can be found here but hard to find elsewhere are: Spanish(not Mexican) Chorizo, different kinds of truffled cheese, and quince paste. On certain Fridays, WF offers a one day special(organic strawberries, fish, meat) which I try to take advantage of. Recently, WF offered Black Cod(aka Sable Fish) for $ 15/lb. and I was euphoric eating the fish Hawaiian-style(misoyaki on ). Additional discounts can be obtained using their app which has a special bar code that can be scanned at check-out. As previous Unilocalers have mentioned, the parking lot is large, but tricky. Driving carefully will remedy most situations.

They have a make your poke section now. That’s awesome! Next I hope they do make your own pizza instead of their standard pizzas.

I like Whole Foods Market a lot, though my shopping there is very limited due to their high pricing. I just wanted to write a review this time just for Mochi Ice Cream sold in the Sweet Dessert section. Today, I bought just two at $ 3 for 2: Cappuccino and Green Tea flavors. I am disappointed by both of them. They shape like mochi but didn’t taste like mochi. Mochi should be soft and stretchy, and that’s what it means; however, it was stiffer than a piece of bread, dry, and tasteless. Ice cream was just good. So, $ 3 for 2 is a good buy? Nope! You wouldn’t enjoy. Try other Mochi Ice Cream at Mitsuwa Supermarket in San Jose instead. Those are the real ones.

Review is only for the Whole Foods cold brew refill service. My husband and I were really impressed by the cold brew Whole Foods packaged and sold. Not only did it taste good and was reasonably priced, but we could bring the bottle back to be sanitized and refilled for a discounted price. We’ve enjoyed partroning this service for nearly a year, but today will be our last time. Unfortunately, the last two times we’ve brought our bottles back after being sanitized and refilled, we’ve found mold and other surprises in the bottle. The first time, we went to the customer service rep who helped us and he replaced both of the bottles we refilled for free. But today, both bottles again came back with some stringy, moldy guck and we decided we were done. We aren’t sure if the staff is new and aren’t familiar with the sanitization process, or if the cold brew system needs a cleaning. Even if they replace the bottles again, it is just hard to trust there isn’t something lurking in our coffee after seeing what we’ve seen.

I’m at this WF practically every day, and this will always be my favorite WF location. There’s room to shop here and they have a bar so you can get tipsy while picking up organic goodies. However, the parking lot is a serious danger zone. Beware! My favorite section is Whole Body, but the items are ridiculously overpriced. I’ve often found the same natural shower gels and shampoos next door at Target Cupertino for less money… and bigger sizes, too. Speaking of Whole Body, customers can’t return any WB item without a receipt as of January 2016. Keep your receipts. Now, back to WF Cupertino’s food bar. The Hot Food Bar needs serious overhaul. It’s the same menu every day! There’s no vegan items at the hot bar besides boring tofu or veggies. What happened to the Field Roast? Why is there Bread Pudding out morning until night(maybe it’s popular, but give it a break)? Why no other Chinese food other than Chow Mein? There’s no variety anymore. The soups are the same day in day out. PLEASE, change up the hot bar menu items. As far as the Burrito bar, I’m less than impressed. They run out of all the additions too early in the evening – corn, lettuce, diced tomatoes, onions, etc. The chicken and tofu are way too soggy and drenched in sauce overload. Some people will love that. I don’t. And on top of all that, start making SMALL bags of tortilla chips to pair with those burritos. I’m always asking for chips on the side, otherwise I’d have to buy a huge bag. The workers are very kind, but the other day a food prep guy was in the bathroom as I waited in there, too… and didn’t wash his hands. I saw him use the stall and exit… nope, no hand washing.

Bought ~1 pound of ribs, saw the butcher weighting 2 pieces but then only one was put inside the box. I found it out only when I arrived at home. This is the second time that Whole Food employees made mistake like this: not putting inside the box all measured merchandize.

Usually their flower selection is amazing, or from the last time I’ve been here. But, for Mother’s day. it was a disaster previously when I got my mom flowers and I know it coming up, so warning: don’t do it. Or go days in advance, but it was so wilted and dead(the day before): I was very sad.

If I can I will give 0 star. I bought some naturtint products 5 days ago before sale and then I found these product were on sale on my recent visit. I asked the cashier if I can get the discount price and he said yes. I forgot to bring my receipt that day so brought receipt and stopped by today. I went to the customer service today, explain the situation, and the person said whole food doesn’t price match for that reason. I searched online and some people said they price match. I asked another staff and he said go and talk to customer service. They don’t do price match at whole food. different people told me different thing and the staff I encountered today are not friendly at all. These doesn’t make sense at all since if I want to get discount price I need to return and rebuy those product which I bought a week ago. I will avoid buying from whole food for their worst customer service.

5 Stars to Oscar in the deli section who legit hooked it up when I needed 20 assorted sandwiches on the fly. Legit took he and his team 25 minutes which has got to be some sort of world record. The sandwiches were delicious and had so many people asking where they were from. Whole Foods Cupertino, Boo! All Whole Foods seem pretty luxury to me but this one is especially swanky. I’d go back just for the bathroom sinks that have Dyson hand dryers built into the sink nozzle. INTHESINK. It was the greatest 40 seconds of my life… yes, 40 seconds because I could not tear myself away. My hands have never been so delightfully dry. They’ve got a great selection of pretty much everything… and the place to go if you need a large amount of anything. Great case discounts on beverages alcoholic and not. My only reason for the missing 5th star is that there were so many areas where products were prominently displayed with a full wall of product, yet no prices on the shelves or the product and as a person on a tiiiiight budget, price is really the most important thing to me, above health, above convenience, above all. Would love to see some more diligence throughout the store to get prices displayed for every product because while there was no shortage of employees around the store to ask, by the 3rd time I found a product I was interested in with no price I wasn’t in the mood to find an employee to page another employee again and also because every who works here was really busy.

Whole Foods is definitely an elite grocery store catering to the upper middle class and above. Parking is plentiful and there are tons of luxury vehicles in the parking lot. The grocery store is very bright, clean and staff is wearing aprons and gloves. Produce has a good mix of conventional and organic. Pricing is on the higher side. Cooked food section has been mediocre, including their bakery. Cashier was friendly and process was easy. …just bring your wallet… or two…

This WF carries spirits and specialty liquors. Keep that in mind mixology enthusiasts! Not all WF’s have this type of stock. Only Beer and Wine at other locations. One of the bigger WF in the area that I like to make the trek to. I have a local WF but it’s small and very popular at the moment. Hard to get in and out and I am not a fan of crowds. I am especially a fan of the ‘indian burritos’ in the food court. We like stop in for a nice grocery/lunch date sometimes. My go to items are: Rib Eyes & Filet Mignons Salmon on sale from time to time @ 12.99 p/lb. Chicken Chorizo — yes, it’s damn good! Italian Roast Coffee Beans Cheese…all of them! Holiday– Distel Farm Turkey’s Say goodbye to your paychecks! xoxo

Well, Whole Foods did it again. I gave them another chance… Failed. I ordered a Pasture Raised Turkey. When I ordered it, I specifically asked the clerk if it was a fresh turkey. I wanted to know when it would be delivered, and explained that I did not want a turkey that had been sitting in the freezer for weeks or months. I picked up my bird and it looked as though it had been thawed, squished up against something and frozen again. I talked to the meat clerk and he assured me it was not frozen on the inside. The box was soaking wet from condensation– like it was taken out of the freezer and had sweat so much it soaked the box. I addressed it, and he said it had not been frozen— It’s been 24 hrs and ITISSTILLFROZEN. THISTURKEYLOOKSABUSED. I am upset. He straight up lied to me. I am thinking that it has been frozen twice — -It may even be a turkey from last year.

This review is for the Whole Foods pre-ordered Thanksgiving meal I picked up today. I had a set time(11:00am) to pick up my turkey meal that serves 4. Expecting things to be crazy hectic on Thanksgiving morning, I came about 30 minutes early. I was surprised to find how perfectly efficiently things were run, even on Thanksgiving morning. There was a separate line for us to pick up our turkeys/meals, and employees standing around on the floor guided us every step of the way and were very attentive. This is the biggest Whole Foods in N America, right? It’s huge and great for people who are looking to prepare healthy meals from scratch, to people who need a grab-and-go meal that is delicious, fresh, and nutritionally balanced. While we were in there, we also grabbed some salmon belly from the seafood section and orange juice last minute. The whole process took all of 15 minutes. I was impressed by everyone’s positive attitude even for working on a holiday. Now let’s get to the food… we opened the box with containers of mashed potatoes, stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, gravy, bread rolls, and a pumpkin pie, and threw the mini turkey in the oven. There were step-by-step reheating instructions that were fool-proof. It made our Thanksgiving experience so seamless. About 1 – 2 hours of prep work and we had an entire meal ready for 4 people on the table. I didn’t know what to expect in terms of taste(quality, I was sure would be fantastic given it’s from Whole Foods) but once we started eating, we were all blown away. Turkey was tender and aromatic, mashed potatoes were freshly mashed and buttery, stuffing was flavorful, pumpkin pie was scrumptious. Would definitely do this again and would also recommend to someone else. Best part? Wasn’t expensive at all. Averaged to about $ 20 per person and we had leftovers for days!~

Was in the area, and I’m always willing to try and experience a new Whole Foods. Let me say that this place is huge! Might be the biggest Whole Foods I’ve been too. This place might have everything you would ever need. Even Indiana Jones could find the Holy Grail here in a few minutes. There are a lot of options and you can quickly burn through your entire back account in a matter of minute. Yes, that means everything is expensive, but it is fresh and organic and that’s always a plus. Still, you get what you pay for. From the worlds best milk, to more cheese options than even Napa, you will be in awe. Customer service is always top notch and friendly and will actually engage you in conversation and actually seem like they are interested. It’s an amazing place. Still I barely bought anything and I walked away paying $ 40+. Still, if money wasn’t an issue, I pretty much would buy everything here.
