Trinethra is great. A great alternative to the India Cash-and-Carry nearby, Trinethra has a far friendlier staff and more relaxed atmosphere. Although their inventory is lacking, they have the Indian necessities and a variety of organic items to choose from. Also, their Spinach is divine.

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. Good customer service… Little more pricey than India cash and carry. But the best part is they carry freshly chopped vegetables… they come handy on busy weekdays and I visit them just to buy the cut vegetables. Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

A very good Indian grocery shop. You will find the fresh vegetables and almost everything you need for Indian cooking. The best part is they cut and give you the fresh coconuts :). Good service and clean place. I felt this is the best grocery shop in Cupertino. I will recommend this place to everyone.

Completely wrong prices crap costumer service they have kept the right tags for the items but the prices are all different Just a little advise check your receipt when buying because I paid $ 60. worth for $ 40 worth of groceries and they don’t accept their mistake that the prices are wrong plus he told me that you need to read the tags if it’s correct or not. So be careful. I am not shopping there any more

I don’t think I’ve ever given more 2 stars for any Indian grocery store. For one, it’s always crowded with people walking around with carts through the narrow aisles. Two, the staff is very unfriendly. This Indian grocery store was a big surprise. It wasn’t as crowded as I expected to me and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The store doesn’t carry an overly vast varieties of Indian groceries, but carries all the basic stuff one would need. I’d definitely get my Indian groceries here when I’m in the neighborhood.

Great friendly kids work here. Love their positive and can-help attitude, unlike perennially scowling desi staff(what’s UP with that?!) at other Indian groceries. They insist upon carrying 20lb flour and rice bags to my car and get this — they SMILE while doing so! If you go to Indian groceries as often as I do, you get the idea. But if you don’t, spare yourself the confusion as to why you are mistreated elsewhere. Go here. Prices are fair, they are albeit a smaller size, but they carry so many Organic grains, it makes me go here more often than to the ghastly India-trash-n-carry(in another review). If they own the restaurant next doors, they should shut it and expand the grocery — not that Sprouts is not around the corner, it is just one stop too many for a round of household essentials, organic produce and organic grains.

Definitely recommend this store. Very friendly staff and good ambience. I liked this store much, I go from warm springs Fremont to Cupertino for grocery. Looks funny, but true :) Every time I visit, there are additional new items introduced. To highlight few, you get cut vegetables, organic products, wide variety of snack, fresh snacks. Competitive prices too.

Typical Indian Supermarket with a large produce and spice area. I hit this place several weeks back for some naan and pre-made dosa mix as I keep trying to experiment and badly fail at making anything resembling a masala dosa. I really don’t know why I spend $ 8.00 for the mix to make something I can buy freshly made and much tastier at a nearby South Indian chaat joint for $ 6.99. I think this was my last try so I will not be returning to Tinethra anytime soon. I also bought some mango lassi and a few samosas which were pretty good and fresh although sitting in a heating box.
