It turns out we visited this place on the last day it was open. Place has been shut down.

Better Chow Fun than I have had recently, even from full restraurants.

There was only one woman working on a Saturday dinner. She is the«waitress» and the cook. I was surprised to see her take our orders, then walk to the back, pull out some plates, and fire up the wok. The large plumes of fire that roar out of her stove is amazing. The food is very charred. It’s nice to get burnt bits in the rice, but not so much in the noodles. Rock ‘N Roll Beef($ 10) is what some call Shaking Beef. I like the charred rice. The sauce tasted the way it should. The beef itself could have been better. I’m used to the beef being soft rather than tough. The beef is rare inside(which would delight me if it is quality meat). Drunken Noodle with Chicken($ 8) is not what I expected. First, I’m used to this being saucy, so it is odd that there is no sauce in sight. Second of all, I’m not used to the random veggies thrown in here(e.g. bamboo). Thirdly, some of the noodles are cold since they have not spent enough time in the wok. The wait was only ~10 minutes since there was only one meal before us to cook. I can see how this one woman show can churn out good food, but not consistently so given the lack of resources. This food court is very sad looking. It is a bit dated, and a good half of it is unoccupied. Btw, I don’t think they do crawfish anymore because it’s not on their menu.

Second time coming here with my baby girl. We ordered both times #18 beef broccoli chow fun(modified to rad na sauce” delish… we love it. We paid extra noodles 2nd time cuz the first time there wasn’t enough for me & my 3 ½ yr old baby girl. Only reason I gave it a minus a star was that it says it opens at 11am on Unilocal, but days ago I tried to bring my bf to let him try it & it wasn’t open at 11am or 11:30am. I brought it up with the guy & was told sometimes they open at 12pm at times. Overall love the dish we ordered. Definitely will try other items they all look so good. They serve Phở, Viet rice plates, korean dishes, etc. * located inside of Vallco mall. I usually park by either jcpenny or by the bowling alley. If you park at the bowling alley & take the escalator up you’ll see the food court.

The drunken noodles are cheap and awesome! If they served bubble tea(or if Quickly were closer), I’d eat here everyday!

You wouldn’t normally expect decent Oriental food in a food court. It’s not exactly Viet so much as Viet/Chinese/Thai and it’s not in a Michelin guidebook but it hits the spot when you want classic Asian food with good portion size. You can see the entire kitchen and the food is made to order unlike other mall stores with food sitting out under the heat lamps all day. I recommend getting Drunken Noodle, or Flat Noodles with Chinese Broccoli. I wouldn’t dare trying the Phở or Vietnamese Udon. There was a bit of a wait as there was some miscommunication with the cashier lady and her husband so the wrong dish was made. She went to the wok herself and cooked the meal, but then other customers were waiting in line to order. It’s reasonably quick most of the time but I feel like slow-downs happen often. Don’t come here if you are late on schedule or lack patience.

Very generous helping of seafood. Great food, made to order. Much healthier than the other options in Vallco mall.

Okay, where do I even begin with this place? I came to try this place out with friends, the pictures looked delicious so why not try it? BOY, was I WRONG! I got a rice plate with chicken, the lettuce and tomato I had looked old, like they’ve been left out… the chicken was super dry. I thought okay, maybe its just what i ordered and I tried my friend’s dishes. One got phở and the other got the fried rice… the phở was gross tasted super watered down(if thats even possible). Don’t get me wrong I LOVEPHO but this is definitely NOT the place to have your phở better off sticking to the real authentic places. Now, the fried rice… it was okay, nothing too special better than my dish and the phở. And don’t even get me started on the staff there… The lady there was so rude I’m guessing she’s the owner? She didn’t smile and looked like she hated life. Personally for me I like eating at a place where theres good customer services.

Being an employee at Vallco Mall the food choices here are very limited. But everytime I go here the people are friendly, the food is healthy, only thing is food might take a while but at least it’s fresh & legit. Nonetheless pretty good.

The wait is what killed me. I was the first person to come up and they were jut cleaning everything. This location is in a very small mall that doesn’t get enough customers. I chose this place because there was no line they weren’t cooking for anyone else so I thought it would be quick… After ordering the lady said 6 mins. It took 22 mins for a bowl of phở. Which had at most 5 meat balls, as in picture, and it was blah. Not recommending

We have been coming to Spring Rice & Crawfish since last year and so far we love their food and the service. They are located in the Food Court in Vallco Mall, so plenty of seating for all. And as you wait for your order, the Food Court has TVs — usually has sports on.(Just keep an eye out for your order if you plan to sit down and wait for it.) We normally order the Rock n Roll Beef with red rice, shrimp cake and/or eggrolls, Thai ice tea and/or young coconut drink(real coconut). They serve the food in real dishes with a choice of either plastic utensils or real utensils. The Rock N Roll Beef is our favorite. The beef is soft to chew and along with the red rice, the food is tasty. The shrimp cake and/or eggrolls, we like to roll them up in the lettuce leaves(Vietnamese style) and eat it. Yes, we’ll keep coming back to Spring Rice & Crawfish.

Very good food at reasonable price. Noodle is better than most fast food noodle chain. Broth is tasty and good value

I was at the mall a few days ago, when I decided to try this place out for a quick bite. The service here is alright, but not great. They told me that the wait would be 10 – 15 minutes, but I ended up waiting for around half an hour. When I finally got my food(crawfish and eggrolls), I tasted that the crawfish was frozen and clearly not fresh at all. The eggrolls were decent. My opinion is that the food here is not worth the price this place makes you pay for it. I might come again when I hear better reviews, but for now, it’s not on my go to list.

Funny thing about this place is that there’s no crawfish on the menu as the name suggests. For $ 7.75, I got to choose 3 different kinds of meats /sides. I chose sausage, grilled chicken and beef with rice. It took some time because there was only one person cooking. Even though the wait can be painful if you are hungry, you can expect the food to be served hot and fresh. What I do like it about this place is that they added this big lime in the drinking water. The lime is unusually large and uniquely carved with precision and style. It really enhanced the flavor of the water while keeping it clear without any pollutants. It made the water extremely refreshing. Lots of choices to choose from on the menu. The place looks clean and the food is well-prepared. They can definitely use more people, however.

I heard great things about this place and was so excited to try it! It’s located in the food court at the mall. The line wasn’t long, so we decided to dine here for a early dinner. We waited a couple minutes before noticing everyone ahead of us walking off. My first thought was«Sweeet. Less of a wait.» When we got up there, it was obvious why so many people just walked away. I made eye contact with several of the employees, but they all ignored us. No one was at the register. We watched them shuffle around shouting at each other and fussing about something until it got way too awkward just standing there. Not sure what happened, but the organization of the service needs some major work.

Wow! The food at this mom-and-pop eatery was really impressive! The beef stew was hearty and deeply gratifying. And the combination rice plate(which came with beef, pork, chicken, sausage & egg) was full of flavors and really tasty. The customer service here was exceptional. The lady behind the counter was extremely nice and helpful. And the price was quite reasonable, especially considering how appetizing the food was. Our bill averaged out to around $ 10 per person.

Awesome goodness and I like the conversation with the staff here. she must be the owner. This is my first time here and it is not your typical mall food court that you pick n point. no under the heat lamp here.Yo. I had the spring rice with bbq pork. it has rice, fried egg(which I opt out), some salad. and Yummy goodness sauce. yeah the dipping sauce LOL. and I also had their Thai iced tea .it is good except that I wanted to have more of it. you know in a bigger cup! I normally don’t go to this mall so if I am going to be here, this is a place to be to get your grub… btw. she mentioned Unilocal while she was conversing with another customer. and it is all good ;)

New food court restaurant but not from steam table. every dish is made to order, they are as fresh as you can get. The best fried chicken I ever had. The owner also eats there so you can be sure the food are safe to eat.

Excellent! I would give 4.5 stars cos I didn’t like the Chinese sausage(I bought spring rice plus 3 items) but the grilled pork and BBQ beef were great! Everything tasted fresh. My husband bought seafood fried rice and he said it was great too and restaurant worthy. :) Love it! Am happy there’s finally a food court store that I actually like and would go back for.

I found this place because of Unilocal; at first I was hesitate to try this out because I don’t believe in crossed style food — Vietnamese noodle soup and Crawfish. It’s inside the mall, the mall is slow, not too many people; the food court was pretty empty as well, not too many restaurants there. Spring Rice & Crawfish is right by one of the main entrance from the parking lot. I tried their Crawfish(to-go) in Lemon Grass style, at first I thought it would taste weird, but it actually came out pretty good. Crawfish was in decent sizes; I think 80% of them were fresh and I found 10% were black(dead). Well… since they are about $ 1.5 less per pound compare to other Cajun style restaurant, I’m OK with that. But then of course it would be great if they are all fresh. The owner seemed very nice and friendly; she said they would have other flavor like Cajun or garlic butter in the future, so I’ll come back to try then. The best thing is they open during the day(lunch), so I wouldn’t need to always wait till 3pm for(most of) other Cajun style resturants to open. But then for the past 5 months they have been always out of crawfish, so I’m not sure why they call themselves a crawfish restaurant.
