I lived in NYC and I always crave the Chicken and Rice plate from The Halal Guys. So it may not be exactly the same, but their Chicken Shawarma Plate here fixes that craving. The chicken is spiced well, the hummus on the plate is perfect and their pita is awesome! Their falafel here is also amazing! It’s probably the best I’ve tasted in the Bay Area. Love, love, love this place:)!!

Baba ghanoush here tastes so amazing. Although the rice that came with my lamb shawarma plate wasn’t as hot as I like to have my rice, the food was good for the price I paid. Seasoned perfectly.

My favorite falafel place in CA. Great pita bread as well. This is a must stop for all falafel lovers.

Everything I’ve tried here is excellent! The lamb/chicken/combo wraps have just the perfect amount of sauce that doesn’t leave a garlic taste in your mouth.

Picked up a Chicken Shawerna wrap for my buddy, I got a Lamb Shawerna wrap for myself. Got a side of 6 falafels. The falafels were great. The white sauce was rather tastless. Both wraps were really dry & had next to no flavor. If mine was actually lamb, it didtn’t taste like it at all. The guy at the register was rude & uninviting, but I kind of expect that from this type of place

I usually order the lamb shewarma wrap and being a Hindu I ask if it is 100% lamb or is it mixed with beef. The owner initially told me there is no beef so I ate there unknowingly many times. Recently the owner was telling the customer in front of me that the lamb shewarma has beef mixed in. I felt cheated. Neither the menu nor description make any mention of it. I’m never going there again !

we like the foods here. everything taste authentic to us and many native eaters patronages eat here. you do not come here for service. all self-serve. the hummus was good and flavorful. the lamb was cook perfectly and also the kefta. the hot sauce is deliciously spicy & tahini sauce is sour & refreshing. would definitely come back to try other offerings when we are in the neighborhood. would give 3.5 stars for the foods alone.

Had the lamb kabob salad, meat was tender, flavorful and abundant, served on a bed of dressed lettuce with beets and pickle slices. A few pieces of pita bread accompanied my salad. It was just the right amount of food, I didn’t feel overwhelmed nor skimped upon. The guy at the counter was nice, restaurant has very crowded seating and during the weekday lunchtime it can be very difficult to get a seat.

i don’t think i like my falafel with anything else other than warm pita bread plus the falafel was cold. Guy with seafoam green polo, i believe is the owner took my order. looked like a douche from behavior and looks, but he didn’t flip at me infront of customers when i dined inside even though i asked for togo. the falafel wrap i ordered tasted dry even though there was hummus and tziki sauce… the falafel place in santa clara(falafel corner) i recently went to is 1000x better. not dry and tasted freshly made with warm soft pita. fries are $ 3, but it’s enough to fill a takeout box. try falafel corner when you get the chance. they even have halal burgers. no ketchup for fries too. only hot sauce that taste like sambal and the watery white sauce. how do you not have ketchep for fries??? either way, i don’t think I’ll be back. also heard falafel stop is super popular. must try when i can.

Good god. I’m DONE coming here. Raw chicken in my last order(hello food poisoning), high prices for mediocre food, long wait times, and rude service. CYAHOUSEOFFALAFEL.

It’s a family owned Mediterranean place. So, as expected, the service is pretty decent. When asking about what falafels was(silly me), the owner offered to put two free in my Chicken plate. Though when they run out of pita bread they give you the wrap bread which looked straight out of Compton. Nicknamed«UNICEF» bread among my peers. Food is good. Chicken is moist(as it should be, not DRY) and rice is tasty. Hummus could use some work though. Pita game is just weak.

I work in Cupertino, so being able to get my falafel fix in the area is a must! This place is not as popular as the Falafel’s Drive In near Rose Garden, but I like how its not too crowded at lunch. The falafels are deep fried to perfection, they get them pretty dark and crisp on the outside. They perfect combination of crunch and moist savory balls. The usual for us is the chicken and lamb shwarma plate and the veggie wrap. The hummus is very good with the falafels. Next time when you are in a hurry and need a great healthy-ish meal call them up for a pick up! The minus one star is the restroom situation, please update!

Mediterranean Food is great. I love Gyros, wraps, Falafels, and kabobs the sauces, etc. My GF’s brother suggested we come here before watching a movie at the AMC in the mall and I was very very hungry. Once arriving, we looked over the menu and my GF got a Lamb wrap and I went with the Beef Kabob Wrap while her brother got the combo. It was delicious! The red and white sauce really pulled the flavors out of the meat while the cool crunchy veggies(lettuce, tomato, onion) and the Pita wrap itself was soft and not crunchy. Reasonably priced at $ 8 per wrap, and they are larger than most burritos in length but taste lighter, meaning you do not feel over stuffed. It was my first time here and I will not make it my last. The older guy running the register looked less than enthused to be working, he must be the owner. I hope you read this sir because your food made me very full and happy!!! I will return but next time, Ill go with the lamb, it was also tasty!

We drove over here pretty late trying to get dinner. We figured getting there at 930pm is ample time to eat — about 30 minutes to eat. We get there, the owner told us that it was to go orders only. I was thinking — why advertise your times to close at 10pm? Another customer came in after me and was also confused why 930pm was the new close time. Hey store owner, don’t change up your times just whenever you feel like it — you’re wasting your customers’ time. I guess it’s also worth noting that the chicken my father had ordered, was very undercooked. The lamb that came with my lamb shawerma, was tougher than a $ 2 steak.

Negative stars of i could. Ordered on eat 24, they were late. Food was cold when it was delivered over an hour later although they estimated it would only take 45 – 60 minutes. To make everything worse there is NO salad dressing on my salad! Called to complain and whoever answered argued with me that salad dressing is on salad. I told him there was none and he asks me what he should do rudely? Don’t come here food is mediocre, delivery is late & they don’t know how to keep their customers happy. If a restaurant makes a mistake they should apologize politely instead of blame the customer. My family will not order from here again.

(I just want to preface this review by stating although there hasn’t been many, my reviews have always been positive. I believe we all have bad days and deserve second chances) I usually go to Village Falafel but it was Sunday and they were closed. I had a craving for a lamb shwerma. I called House of Falafel for the first time, for a to-go order, a gentlemen answered in a rude and abrupt way, almost irritated that I was calling. I ordered two lamb wraps and asked about any deserts? He mumbled baklava and nothing else. Fifteen minutes later, I walk in with my 5 yr old daughter. The gentlemen, which I realize is the manager/owner is sitting down, it’s around dinner time, one couple are the only patrons. We asked to use the restroom, which was dirty and smelled terrible. Should have known right then. We paid for the wraps, the gentlemen couldn’t muster even a thank you, much less anything else. Again, I felt like he was annoyed we were there. I saw there was rice pudding on the menu? He kind of grumbled yes, I asked for two. House of Falafel has the best rice pudding, so I guess, I thought it would be similar. Wow! It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten something so bad. The wrap, mostly filled with lettuce, maybe 5 – 6(I’m not embellishing) pieces of meat, the tiny amount of tomatoes and peppers dispersed, were soft and so totally lacking in any kind of taste. After throwing out half of what I ate and the entire other wrap, I tried the rice pudding. Wish I didn’t do that. It was so foul. Not sure how they make it? Or what’s in it? It had a hard coagulated layer formed at the top, I mixed it a bit, tried a bite. Just awful! I wouldn’t have even recognized it as rice pudding if I hadn’t bought it. Between the warm reception, dirty restroom, and awful food. I will never eat anything from there and do not recommend.

This place was just okay. I ordered the lamb shawarma plate and it came with rice, salad, and pita bread. The lamb was a little dry and could’ve been more flavorful. Prices aren’t that bad. My plate was $ 9.99 and it came with a decent amount of food. The wraps are $ 7.99. I’ve had better though, so I probably won’t be coming back.

It’s my first time to visit his place, and it’ll be my last. It amazes me it has remained open for so long. Every aspect of this business is in need of change: Décor — Dated and in need of a major renovation Service — The gentleman who manned the counter has to be the owner. If not, he’s got to be a member of the family because no one of his demeanor should be in that position. He has one of the driest personalities I’ve ever encountered. It’s as if I’m bothering him or that I should feel so lucky that he is there to help me. After ringing my order(House Falafel Wrap), he simply extends his hand and motions me to give him money. Really? No, «that’ll be $$$ please?» Food — Disappointing wrap that consisted of falafel balls, eggplant, lettuce, tomato, hummus, and tahini. It simply lacked any real flavor. The balls did not have any spice that made them memorable. There was not much eggplant. The only good thing was the hot sauce. It had some heat which definitely helped! I should have gone to Village Falafel instead! Someone volunteer this place for Chef Robert Irvine’s TV show!
