Beautiful store. The problem with Sprouts at Lakeland Plaza is thats its cramped… you can’t roll in there without bumping into a display or banging into an employee stocking the bok choy or a fellow shopper. And the weird thing about Sprouts is they took over the space from that chain of home goods and clothing stores, I can’t remember the name, when they could have should have moved into the old Kroger space next to it, but they opt for the smaller site? Go figurel. Major merchandising mistake. The accountants are running the asylum, lol. Anyway, Earth Fare, very nice store, prices were higher than Sprouts, but lower than Whole Foods for sure. I found two deals, I bought the Friday Pizza Lunch special, its ok, $ 6.99 for a large pep, not exactly Mellow Mushroom. And the ground beef was $ 3.49, on par with what i pay at Ingles up the street. Speaking of Ingles, one of the checkers from Ingles just started at EF, hadn’t seen him in quite a while, we had some laffs at the checkout about the pricing because the woman in front of me caught 2 pricing errors, and that took some time to call the manager, verify the price, issue the credit, twice! And get this, the fix for one of the problems was to take the half price sign off the display, umm, excuse me? we had a big laff about that. So watch the pricing when you go. Take pictures. And no prisoners! Overall, nice store. I’ll be back. I won’t spend much there, but, it was a pleasant shopping experience despite the price shenanigans. LOL.

This is a cute grocery store. They have a pretty good selection of organic and all natural foods. The only thing I would change about this location is a few of the staff members. I asked a couple people in there about certain products, and they didn’t seem to know much about them. To be some-what fair it is a new store. The store isn’t as pricey as Whole Foods, although I love Whole Foods too. The place is clean every time I go in and has a smell of fresh foods, which simply never happens a store like Kroger or Publix. I like their rewards point system too. Saving money on healthy food is always a plus!

So I’m a cheapskate. Earth Fare isn’t cheap but I love them. I love the quality and the organic selection. AND it’s cheaper than Whole Foods. Love the hot and cold bars and who doesn’t love to sample before you buy. Watch for the sales because you can rack up on some good deals. I found myself hanging out in this store a good hour because it was so much to see. If you’re a healthy nut and are always looking for organic food, this is the place for you.

Better than the local sprouts market in terms of food quality but it’s not as good as whole foods. The selection is a little lacking compared to whole foods however it’s a much shorter drive.

I was so excited to have this store opening so close to where I live. I imagined popping over after work to pick up something for dinner. My issue is not with the quality of food– which while pricey is very good, but the check-out experience will have you seeing red. I have been a few times after work and it’s not crowded by any means, I like the store but I believe me there is no «popping» over when you wait for over 15 minutes to check out. They let customers stack up — 6 – 7 deep before getting anyone else to do the check out. Check out clerks are slow, bagging carefully, but SOSLOW. There seems to be issues with the credit card machine– I just could not believe how long I had to wait to buy a few groceries. I have tried to complain a few times now, but there is NOONE as customer service — and trust me, they are not working the check out lines. This places has some growing pains to suffer from. I hope they get it together– I’m not going to give them many more opportunities.

Low and behold a new grocery store has just opened at the Collections Forsyth!!! Wandered into Earth Fare and saw that it is very similar to layout of the Avalon Whole Foods. Earth Fare carries a lot of the same store name brand products, produce, and ingredients you find at Kroger, Walmart, and Publix but at slightly higher prices so this is place to go if you are not worried about spending money. I liked it but the only thing that was of interest to me here was the deli and dessert selections. I prefer Fresh Market as it is closer to my house but Earth Fare deserves a repeat visit as there may be things I missed on my first visit.

I love this store. The produce is fresh and well stocked. I like the coffee bean selection. This place has an AWESOME cheese selection. They have a wide range of olives in their olive bar. My favorite was the one that was spicy. The fresh food area has been busy each time I go but all I have ever had is the bread which was great. The parking lot was a circus.

YOUMAKEMEWANTTOBE A BETTEREATER ! This is the new health food store that is located at The Collection. We have been waiting for a healthier option close to home and here it is! The parking is very convenient so no worries there. As I walked in, I immediately noticed the fresh hand-tossed pizza and the juice/smoothie section. I wandered over and looked at that lone roasted garlic pizza and it was beautiful! You could tell that it was tossed by hand and it was just so perfect in its simplicity. I ordered a slice along with the Appalachian smoothie and they were the perfect pair. I decided to eat in(and share with my husband), so that I could just relax and take it ALL in. The super fresh organic smoothie was very nice and refreshing. It was full of berries and apples and was a great way to get in that daily fruit allowance. However, I must warn you that my garlic pizza had a forbidden amount of fat due to the olive oil base. But… It’s Christmas! Meanwhile, my husband was so jealous of my SLICE of pizza that he had the nerve to order a full 18 inch supreme pizza to go. It was huge! I didn’t even realize he had placed an order until we were headed to the register. Crazy! I stayed on the perimeter of the store because this is where I tend to shop. I was really impressed with the look of their protein selections but wish they had nutritional information,(sodium content) available for their fresh sausage. We really want to start eating better so it is important for us to have this information. The deli section is huge and has a variety of different types of salads and prepared items that are perfect for lunch or that dinner that you are too tired to prepare. Some of the hot items were past their prime,(but it was around 9 pm) and needed to be removed. I really appreciated the fresh ravioli dispenser, the bulk shrimp that you can scoop yourself, fresh peanut butter that you can ground yourself, a huge selection of bulk items,(including almond flour) and a vast selection of chilled beverages. The staff was really nice and helpful and I look forward to future visits.

First trip, so I’m not ready to award 5 starts yet. But it looks good thus far — a smaller version of Whole Foods, and certainly more convenient than the nearest WF. Everything looked good, well presented and the staff was anxious to please, which you would expect as they have been open here for less than two weeks. I’ll be back in search of that 5th star. Oh — one other thing — the food we bought here was delicious.

It’s early — they’ve just opened. But most indicators were good — personnel well trained(aptitude and demeanor very good for having just opened). Selection and quality good. Deli area a little slow — both for cold cuts and prepared foods(something a little odd about how they have to access the prepared foods… many employees were coming around front and raising the glass/plastic to get foods because they couldn’t reach from the rear — this created a real space crunch/traffic jam/and blocked any view of what was available — also seems like it would be a little unsanitary over time). As with all of these places, you pay a premium but you know that going in. We’ll see how things evolve. Early impressions will have me going back and suggesting folks give it a try.
