Been a «Q-Head» since the Albion days. It’s so good in fact that I had to have it twice in the same week… Opening week. Today was perfectly cooked brisket with a bold sauce sprayed all over. My friend got the ribs which I got to try. They were delicious as well. Mike even let me sample some«Smokehouse Chili» which could quite possibly the best chili I’ve ever eaten. Five stars all around, can’t wait to try all the different cuts.

Fantastic spot! I stopped in for lunch after seeing it as a new spot. The owner was wonderful, offering me a piece of meat at the counter. Definitely worth the price. I had a brisket sandwich and side of collard greens. I was nervous once I saw sauce on the brisket, thankfully it was not too sweet and complemented the tender, smokey meat well. The greens were an instant favorite. They were spicy and sour, tasting like apple cider, bacon, and arbol chiles. The meal was around $ 16, though worth every cent as it was tasty. Make sure you have plenty of napkins.

Wowowowow great pork loin back ribs from the truck. Great smoke and dry rub. Meat fell right from the bone. Polished off a whole rack myself. Friendly service. Minor star off for limited menu at the truck and a teensy bit too expensive, but who cares with ribs like these? 4.499999999 stars!

The food is good. We went on a Saturday and the guy behind the counter was so nice. It gets four stars because it’s obvious that the restaurant is only there to serve the food truck. Will I go back? Yes!

Traditional dry run barbecue better than anything I’ve had in the South! If you’re on the bike trail it’s very convenient to get to Main St.

Legit«Q» that rivals someone the best that I’ve had. Definitely real deal and not covered in sauce or overpowered by smoke. Great bark on the pork.

Limited menu on Sunday but no limit to this BBQ place. Found it by accident and had a great lunch of tri-tip, pulled pork and beans(which are fantastic). Will back for the full menu soon.

Having previously lived in Texas, I’ve been looking for some solid BBQ in the Northeast. GottaQ has some amazingly tasty food, and like other reviewers have noted — the burnt ends are the highlight of the menu, but they tend to sell out quickly. Definitely the best BBQ I’ve had in Rhode Island and a must try for anyone that enjoys BBQ or meat cooked to perfection. Oh, and I should mention the owners/staff are awesome and extremely friendly and welcoming.

A bit off the beaten path, go on an adventure and make this BBQ place the destination. I’ve been here twice so far and enjoyed the burnt ends(get them before they run out!) and the tri-tip and, well, I’m just going to say it– best BBQ in Lil Rhody! The meat is amazingly tender, and so dang tasty you’ll feel bad about putting sauce on it. But you should at least try the sauce — I want to put the spicy one on everything. Oh and the beans! Michael, the owner/pit master, is super knowledgeable about the art of BBQ and smoking meats and it comes through in the final product. So if you like smoked meats done right, take a trip to Lincoln and see what makes me happy.

Been driving by this place with the food truck parked outside all winter and finally decided to stop in. Great food and good portions. A great place for meat eaters who have a hankering for BBQ.

The name says it all! Outstanding, consistently righteous BBQ. I’ve had the pulled pork sandwiches many times, such lean and smokey pork goodness! The babyback ribs are so good too, you would be hard pressed to find any tastier around these parts. Maybe a ride down south to rival these babies? Naw! The BBQ beans are always awesome with loads of shredded pork in them. We had the whole smoked chicken for the 1st time last night and it was crazy moist with the just the right smokiness and spice. Also had the mac-n-cheese for the 1st time too. Now I know why it always sells out; that is some tasty adult flavored dish, loaded with a creamy cheddar cheese sauce. Amazing side! The chilli is a go to fav. Burnt ends are awesome too, when they’re not sold out! They should call them Gold Ends! It’s about time real BBQ showed up around Northern R.I. I’m a foodie and own a smoker. Not saying I’ve given up on smoking my own but with this quality BBQ so close by I feel my smoker will be seeing less action this season. If you have a BBQIQ then by all means this place will remind you why you GottaQ!
