I came here tonight 2÷9÷16 and had the worst experience, the girl behind the register seemed unfriendly and looked like didn’t care at all, after i ordered my food i noticed she was giving me a small portion then usual, i then asked why and her replie was if i wanted refond in that case i said i sure do and will not return again. Bad business and need training on customer service…

Went here last night and I will never go here again. How are they still in business??? The cook was cleaning the grill and after touching on everything, including his hat, he just took a paper towel and wiped his hands, and continued cooking. I must admit that the food looked delicious, but the taste was another story… never again.

I have been craving for Mongolian BBQ for years! Last time I went to Mongolian BBQ was when I was in high school MANY years ago, and that was the last time! I still remember I didn’t know I was supposed to stack the noddles really high up, so I only got a small portion. I ended up being laughed by my classmate! However, here is different. The food here is just so-so. The noodles texture tasted like flour. You get to stack your own noodles really high up, but they do it for you here, which won’t be stacked high up. The portion is relatively small, which is disappointing. Will not come back here and will try other Mongolian BBQ places instead!

I’ve been here several times the food is good but actually this this Saturday that I was there the cashier there were there had an attitude when I asked her for a green tea and she charged me 10 something so to give me a refund she gave me an attitude and rolled her eyes so I don’t think I’m be coming back to this place anymore…

Fresh looking ingredients turned into a brown salt-paste pile. Flavor would be nice. Couldn’t even taste the added garlic over the brown salt-soup Artful Mongolian BBQ this is not. Nine bucks. Drag.

I love this place! The flavors all together are delicious. I feel like they’ve been skimping on the noodles in the past few years but surprisingly, they’ve been fairly generous on the meat the last few times so I guess I can’t complain. The guy working the sticks is very showey in a good way and I think you have to be in order to work that hot table everyday. It’s a fantastic option when you’re craving noodles and I make it a point to go even when i’m not shopping in the mall.

Yikes. Better stay away. Me and my bros were looking for a place to nom. Got some scallion pancakes, yet that wasn’t enough. They were delicious, though. Just like my grandma’s. We chose this place because it looked good. Boy were we wrong. I ordered a beef bowl and was immediately intrigued by the options they had. Bean sprouts? Bok choy? PINEAPPLE? AREYOUFU*KINGKIDDINGME? Adding to that was horrible service. Seriously. Our server looked like she was forced to work there. Nevertheless, I kept ordering until I saw the TV screen. They were broadcasting fake pictures of their«food». For example, «add shrimp to your MONGOLIANFESTIVAL». How is this a festival? Then a sketch of a shrimp came up and said«WOW!!». Same went with the beef, except a cow this time. It makes you feel guilty of even eating the meat. Adding to that is the slideshows were extremely low quality and probably made by a 10 year old. I kept ordering anyways and was immediately disgusted by the orange noodles. I simply thought they were raw noodles and would turn golden-brown once cooked. Again, wrong. It was such a long time until the«food» came in. The portion of «food» was huge and was definitely not suited for 1 person. Well, that’s wasted. Those were the 3 words that I thought of when I saw the«food». One of my friends, Johnny, offered to get some bowls and share the«food» with everyone else. We finally ate it and BOOM. We spit it out. It was bland, chewy, and overall disgusting. Only thing that was somewhat decent was the pineapple. Everything else, blech. Didn’t even take it to go. All we did was eat the actually delicious scallion pancaked from just down the walkway. Y’know, there’s a ton of bad places in Westfield Culver City’s food court to eat, and this is no exception. What a big-ass Monjoke.

Don’t bother ordering the shrimp in place of your meat. They don’t tell u that it only comes w 6 pieces of shrimp as opposed to half a bowl of meat. You pay extra for less food and when you bring it to their attention, they just shrug their shoulders.

Great food although they are a little shy on the meat, also they employees English is not that great and orders do get messed up. They need to be more organised with the bowls and numbering. Other than that no complaints on the food, if you’re in the mall you should try it.

There is a lot of choices of meat, vegetables, and sources. Have fun making your own bowl;))

Large portions and the line moves rather quickly and best of all they don’t cook with MSG. My only beef was the cross contamination I was witnessing. The man restocking the ingredients wore gloves however he handled the meats with the same gloves as he handled the veggies and then all orders were cooked on the same grill. I did not freak out since all the food was being cooked and my meal included meat however if I were a vegetarian I’d probably like to see them using separate gloves to handle my veggies and allocate half of the grill to those meals which don’t have meat. The Mongolian BBQ dish was OK, tasty. I decided it was not good enough to finish it or take home for a second serving as my stomach began feeling bloated. It passed and overall the meal was good value. If I ever went again I would choose to share it.

Ok place, prefer to fill my own bowl as others have said, they do it for you here. Smaller portions compared to Gengis Khan in Lakewood Mall. But filling nonetheless. Mine had a lot of sauce and that contributes to a little extra salty flavor, but some might prefer that. Otherwise the food’s not bad. Enjoy.

A busy food court at Westfield mall, fast service and variety choices of vegetables add-ons to Mongolian fried noodles.

the food was passable for food court fare, although I would have liked to fill my own bowl as most Mongolian places are self serve. The veggies could have been fresher, as the cabbage and bean sprouts looked a little wilted. The big deduction in my rating is due to the service. Both the cashier and the guy who operates the grill speak very little english. When I asked for a bag, I was given a dirty, annoyed look, and then ignored. With all the choices in this food court area, I would not eat here again.

Mongrill is located in the Westfield Culver City. It’s in the food court located on the 3rd floor. You pay first and then join the assembly line to get your food. For a little over $ 8, you get an ample portion of choice of meat: beef, chicken, pork or turkey. It’s not self serve.

These places are so tricky, in that… there’s very little reason for them to screw it up. So I found this place to be adequate. Especially since you’re in a mall, and the selection here is scant. I throughly enjoyed the bowl I created for myself. And got my food before my two stupid friends who went to Panda Express and Frida Taco respectively. So again, don’t take a 3 star review bad. It actually is above par to Panda Express(in same food court). And it does have fresh ingredients. The guy who ladled the sauces for me was very accommodating, yet sad. He seemed rather disappointed at A) knowing another Asian dude is eating their cuisine and therefore will be ultra-douchey critical(as we’re known to be) or B) having to ladle all the sauces into the bowl since I can’t make a decision as to which one I want.

I love that they cook the noodles fresh, and right in front of you — and it’s totally customizable, so if it tastes bad, it’s honestly probably your fault. I haven’t had a bad experience here. The noodles are always cooked perfectly, and they get the sauce right. I usually get mine with beef, onion, green onion, cilantro, garlic, mushrooms, baby corn, broccoli, zucchini with spicy sauce. It’s hot, fresh, and the portions are big so you’ll definitely have leftovers.

Food is always so flavorful & delish. I like mine with medium sauce and extra teriyaki(after its been cooked). The staff is always friendly and offers me soy or hot sauce(although not needed at all). This place also serves GREAT boba(bubble tea) my favorites are taro, milk tea and Thai tea! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a healthy alternative to Burger King or the always greasy Sarku Japan next door. This is my go to place at the mall & the food never fails to satisfy, especially with the great portions. Not to much and not to little.

Bleh, this place is disgusting. For some reason, I was CRAVING mongolian BBQ and wanted my fix of noodles and meat! I was at the Foxhills mall so I decided to order me a plate so I can eat it later. The sucky part about Mongrill is that it’s not self serve like other mongolian BBQ’s i’ve been too. I like the idea of self serving because I can adjust how much veggies and meat to my liking than the girl in the front doing it for me. Plus, she gets a little stingy on the veggies, which I don’t like. After I ordered, I waited and watched the guys cook my plate up on the giant grill and after some time, they got it ready in no time. After I took my first bite into my food, I noticed that it had absolutely NOFLAVOR! I totally agree with Sophia C. because it tasted sooo bland! I even asked the lady to make it spicy and put lots of garlic and oyster sauce but I could not taste anything! Just pure noodles and veggies and meat. No flavor at all! Disappointing… I probably wouldn’t be back here even if I’m craving for Mongolian BBQ like no other. I’ve tried better at other malls. And yes, it’s not THEBEST food to eat but it should at least taste decently good.
