The kiosk has been moved from upstairs to downstairs by the children’s play place, next to the Wetzels pretzels booth. I walked the entire mall looking for it, only to find it on the way out! Thank the dessert gods above! Where have these been all my life? I used to be an avid cookie/brownie eater, but the older I get, the more I crave«higher quality» desserts… I guess you can call them that. Anyway… Just had the rose water flavor and oh my gosh… Delish!!! Rose water is used a lot in Arabic desserts… So I was surprised to see it in a macaron. Man oh man… It tasted like my sweet Arab childhood. Amazing! Next I tried the lavender… It was just as amazing! They don’t hold back on these flavors, I’ll tell you that much! Semi-crunchy outside and soft cookie and cream inside. Better than the usual stale macarons I find other places. I will be back for more. 4 more flavors are tempting me in their box as we speak. Ugh… Fat girl problems lol

Their macarons are a delicate crust with the most chewy center. The texture is perfect. Seriously, so decadent. The flavors overall are pretty sweet, but rich in their designated flavor. The coconut one is my fave along with salted carame and strawberry daiquiri! Prices are decent compared to the other macarons out there

I had a green tea macaron. It didn’t look very pretty because the filling didn’t go all the way across. The macaron tasted too soft; it didn’t have the slightly firmer texture I’m used to. I liked that the green tea flavor was very prominent.

Before coming upon this kiosk, I had never had a macaron before. I’m 33 years old and had never had a macaron before. Wow. LOL Anyway, while I may have been new to the world of macarons, I do know a good dessert when I taste one. Well, my friends, these things are freaking delicious! I selected the mint chocolate chip, the coffee, and the lavendar flavors. The trio came out tobe five dollars and some change. The price was a bit on the high end side but hey, I see these delicate little things as a luxury indulgence. Each confection had a perfect texture and filling, which was pure decadence. The only thing stopping me from feeling guilty is their diminutive size; they can’t be all that bad for you given size right? I really loved the coffee flavor and the mint chocolate chip. They tasted exactly as described but the standout flavor to me is the lavendar one. Just like the nice and helpful cashier said, It tasted like the Fruity Pebbles cereal. When I bit into that macaron it totally took me back to my childhood. All that was missing was my Saturday morning cartoons. haha I really hope this kiosk is a success at this mall. Hopefully, more people besides me will realize what a gem Liansss Macarons is.

We saw them at the Chinese New Year Festival and have been thinking about these little treats since then. I’m so glad they opened a cart close to home. These are the best macarons we have ever had! My favorites are Red Velvet, Ferrero Rocher, Vanilla, Raspberry, Lavender and Salted Caramel! I will definitely be back.

Darn, I was suckered in by the lure of macarons! Liansss is a new kiosk that just opened at the Westfield Culver City mall, next to Potato Corner and across from Hot Dog on a Stick. It caught my eye, and even though I was a bit skeptical of macarons from a kiosk, Liansss’ other locations had good Unilocal reviews, so I decided to give it a chance. The macaron flavors are all on display and they have a wide selection. I got: — pistachio — this is usually my favorite flavor, but this one was stale and very chewy. Barely any hint of pistachio at all — pineapple — this was fresher, and the filling was creamier. Didn’t quite get the tanginess of pineapple though. — strawberry — this was nice and pink, but on the sweet side. It was also on the stale side, not as bad as the pistachio though — green tea — this was the best one I had. It had a nice green tea flavor, and wasn’t stale, but it was also the least pretty :( Macarons are $ 1.80 each. The girl who was working the kiosk was very nice, and they offer gift boxes in various sizes, but I won’t be buying any more. Bottega still remains my favorite macaron place in LA.
