Jane’s Popcorn

The popcorn is delicious, and the staff is friendly. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my snacks.

Still a place I love to stop at now and again when nearby. They seem to have set up a little sample area, which I think was a good idea. Samples persuade customers for sure.
I stopped in on Halloween to pick up some snacks for a friends party. Not sure how well they do in their later store hours. But I was relieved when I realized they were open past 6, as i had of course waited last minute before the party to come. I picked up a couple of the sugary specialty kind, and a bag of the cheesy caramel kind (oh man, so good). All three were a hit, and combatted well with the three bags of plain Ruffles other guests had brought.
All in all, the quality is always good. And it’s that and the revolving selection that keep me returning. Perfect for popcorn enthusiasts, gifts, or a unique snack for parties.

As others have mentioned, this place is no frills. I had been buying their popcorn at Outpost until I realized they were local. I haven’t even tried the numerous flavors that they have. I just get the regular. They carry several different size bags. I resist the urge to buy the ginormous one since I know I will eat it all. A worker told me they use coconut oil and that’s what makes it so tasty. They are definitely doing something right. This is a great gift idea for the popcorn lovers in your life. Hint hint!!!

Sssshhh! Can you keep a secret? This popcorn is so good it rivals the legendary Garrett’s popcorn in Chicago! I almost don’t want to spill the beans, but I want to see them grow so I can keep coming back for more. I’m selfish that way!
On an afternoon of wandering around and seeing what I could find using the Unilocal app ( Unilocal is so good for that!) I stumbled into this place and was delighted to find a couple dozen varieties of colorful popcorn that the staff graciously allowed me to sample.
I tried the yellow vanilla popcorn, coated with a caramel — ey substance that was good but stuck to my teeth. I’m old, with dental work, so I immediately thought of my fillings. But there were all kinds of sweet flavors and appetizing colors… cheesecake, strawberry, green apple… I could have spent hours trying it all.
With a gleam in her eye, the girl at the counter, who was making popcorn in the back before waiting on me, said I had to try the Cheesy Caramel Glaze popcorn. Less sticky, she said. She went to the back to pull me a sample so fresh it hadn’t been packaged. Oh. My. Gosh. How do they do it? Cheese and caramel had a baby with delicious results! I got a big bag made to order from the back.
I came home with some bacon cheese (apparently the jalapeño cheese is equally addicting), that Cheesy Glaze goodness, and a bag of the trio mix, which is attractively packaged in separate layers, begging me to pour into a bowl, mix, and enjoy with abandon.
I can’t wait to enjoy it all, and go back for more. The woman who helped me pre-​sold me on the Butter Toffee popcorn which sounds incredible. I’ve simply got to have it!

They make popcorn for the connoisseur, this stuff is so good! They were friendly and patient while we picked out stuff. We get this popcorn for gifts, its perfect for gift baskets. The cheese popcorn tastes like real cheese (probably because it IS real?) and its great with wine. The prices reflect gourmet, and it’s well worth it. Easy parking and convenient hours.

It’s a shame because this is in the right area situated right next to Bally’s. The problem is the price and the staff. I came in and the store was empty of customers. They actually had product in the store today which isn’t always the case. There is no calorie count on the packaging. I asked questions and felt like I was inconveniencing her. She looked like she was busy making popcorn.
On the turnstyles there are only a few of the salted vinegar labeled .99. I thought everything on that turnstyle would be that price. I was mistaken. i get to the register and my total is nearly $ 7.00 for three little 4 oz. bags of popcorn. The prices are way too high. I can drive to their competitor Knights (which has a Groupon) and get 4 huge bags for $ 10.00. For me price, service, and size were the downfall.
