I did not go to Knight’s to pick up the popcorn, so I cannot speak about the customer service experience. I can speak about the awesome caramel popcorn! For my son’s party, we came up with the idea of giving away caramel popcorn as thank you gifts. I filled separate party cups with caramel popcorn and in the process, I had to steal a taste from the bag. The popcorn has a lot of caramel flavor and the best crunch! We also had plain white popcorn for J, due to his food allergies. The plain white was delicious and had the right amount of salt. J loved it, and even munched on it the day after his party! Knight’s has great popcorn, and I will continue to be a customer. I am looking forward to trying all the flavors.

We used to run across the street to Knights from school when I was a kid. It has moved but the flavor of the popcorn is the same. It’s down the street from Maria’s pizza. Service is ok. Groupon is a great deal and my family loves the popcorn too!

This is one place that I don’t «judge a popcorn store by its appearance.» Looking like time has passed it by along Forest Home Avenue, you might think twice about stopping, but you will never know what you may have missed. Inside you might think you are in a transplanted store from the former soviet bloc. Many nearly empty shelves are the surprise, no signage and huge bags of popcorn piled high against the walls. Not the image that appeals to most. However, if you don’t see it, ask and they can put together almost anything to your liking. The prices seem reasonable and the caramel corn tastes delicious and rivals the much more expensive Popcorn Factory. My suggestion to management: buy modern signage, cleanup your interior and exterior and fill the shelves with product. You might see an increase in your bottom line like we all see in our waist lines eating your fine products!

Love this place, only thing holding me back from giving it a strong 5 star rating is the service. I always seem to get the same person to wait on me and she tends to always be short and acts as if I am disturbing her by purchasing items. Good thing for Knights their popcorn ROCKS!!! Best Carmel Corn ever. I used to treat myself once a year and get a tin, now it’s more like 2 – 3 times a year, but not the big tin worth. I have been coming here for years and love it. The place is nothing fancy but they get the job done. Full service popcorn place. Seeds, oil, pre-popped, flavored, containers, anything you can think of popcorn related. You HAVE to try it and you will be hooked.

I gotta give 5 Stars for another Milwaukee staple! Who doesn’t love getting that tin of cheese, butter and caramel corn on the holidays? With a sticker under the lid for a discount for refilling the bucket. Knights is great to have in the neighborhood, and always happily donates popcorn to the Jackson Park Neighborhood Halloween Trick or Treat. They offer pre-popped popcorn, as well as all of the fixings to pop it at home or in the office. They are obviously doing something right, since they have been around since 1952. Knights is my go to place for local popcorn treats!

I bought a Groupon for 50% off on Knight’s Popcorn. Their store isn’t nearby but while out for lunch I decided to stop. No crowd like Garrett’s in IL& in fact I waited for a clerk to come out from the back area. The clerk didn’t seem to understand how Groupon worked off a mobile device so she asked the woman in a back room for help and made me write my name on a list in case something was not right. I think price was great because of 50% off. Not sure I’d make the trip back there to pay full price but I think their prices are in line with others on the market. I bought the Milwaukee mix and Caramel Cashew blend. Tried Milwaukee and was pleased except many of kernels were small. Caramel had bigger kernels which I like. I didn’t care for the cashews. They weren’t as crunchy as the ones I usually eat but that may be a result of being mixed with popcorn. I was glad to see the dates on bags give me plenty of time to eat my «bounty» before it goes stale.

The words«gourmet popcorn» are, to my ears, tantamount to the crackhead hearing«free rocks!» I’ll run from across the room when the words are uttered. I never get to the west side of town, but was fortunate enough to do so the other day while running errands. I was on Forest Home and passed a huge sign that said POPCORN. I pulled a U-ee right quick and ducked into Knight’s. I tried several types of popcorn, but nothing was really too stellar. Their prices were good though, so I bought a few flavors I thought would be good for snacking including a cajun style and some caramel corn. Their Milwaukee blend(compare to Quality Candy’s Crazy Korn) was pretty decent too, as was their bacon flavor. The pop isn’t very big and it is certainly no(namedrop) Quality Candy. Where they’re successful is in the variety of popcorn they make. I’d guess there were probably about 15 different flavors, perfect for sampling. Knight’s proximity to Miller Park probably does a great deal for the business, because, like I said, the prices are very reasonable for the quantity, it’s just the quality(candy) isn’t there. ps…Quality Candy.
