First of all, the address for this restaurant is incorrect. We eventually gave up looking for it and had to visit a Chili’s. Bleh! However, the next day we had a local take us there and it was worth the visit! They make their sandwiches with Boar’s Head cheese and meat, so, the quality of the sandwiches are great! I ordered the egg salad sandwich on rye bread with a side of cheese tortellini. When I asked for a sample of the egg salad, she informed me that she makes it fresh which I found impressive! I was able to order it with mustard instead of mayo. The tortellini was very flavorful with a vinegar after taste which I enjoyed. The portions are huge! I ordered the small (4 oz) and could only eat half! The service was a little slow, but definitely worth the wait as I am sure it was slower than most due to making the items fresh. I am partial to mom and pop shops and this one is a gem! #shopsmall #deli #vegetarian #salad #sandwich

Lousy sandwich. They just slice the cold cut meat throw them into the roll. Mushroom and pepper from the can if you want them. If you want a hot sandwich, they throw it into a little counter top over for a couple minutes. The hot sub is barely warm on the outside, cold inside. I would not eat the food if given to me free!!! YUK

Third return visit turns out to be our last visit.
This place was great the first two times, but was bad this time. Waited 45 minutes from 1:30– 2:15 for 3 lunch sandwiches. If we had been told of the wait time for food, we would have gone elsewhere, which is what we will do next time. Food is Expensive for a sandwich. Over $ 30. For lunch for 3 people and a 45 minute wait after ordering. They were not understaffed, there was 5 people working behind the small counter. They were disorganized and they were arguing with one another. How does a subway with 2 staff get your sandwich in 2 – 3 minutes and this place take 45 minutes?
Not worth the wait and if the staff was more informative and friendly, I might have overlooked it. But they were neither.
Sorry but this local Mom and Pop business needs some upgrades fast.

Hidden gem. Fresh food and friendly stuff. Definitely would recommend. Had a turkey club and it was awesome. If you are looking for a place with daily fresh food I would recommend to stop bye.

This is a cute little sandwich place, located in a cute little town. We ordered Cajun turkey sandwiches, both were good, with a wide variety of toppings, and a nice crusty bread. We also ordered fries, which were pretty standard, and just OK.
The staff is very friendly, as are most people in this town. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

I was expecting a for real NY deli. Nope.
It was smaller than most delis in the grocery store. I had a simple roast beef sandwich. It was OK. Some of the meat was brown and I guess they get their bread at the store. Nothing special. Much less the surly red headed kid taking my order.
I would not recommend this place.

I… I’m not quite sure how this place has such high reviews. I honestly feel bad leaving two stars because the staff is SO nice. The fact of the matter is, the sandwiches are always really bland. They aren’t bad, but it just tastes like plain white bread with the light flavor of whatever sauce and protein is appropriate in your sandwich. The rest of my Crystal River group loves it so I’ll continue to go, and hope they inject a little more seasoning next time.

Growing up in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn, N.Y., I was surrounded by sandwhich shops like this. (Anyone remember Johns Deli)? This is as close to home as I’ve had since living in Fla. I had the Brooklyn Bomber and it was incredible. Anyone not trying this sandwhich is missing out. Can’t wait for the next time I’m in the area so I can have another.

Ordered some hot sandwiches for lunch. Everything was prepared very well, and the staff was very friendly. I had split a ruben and a cheese-​steak with my wife. Both were well prepared, but not amazing. I was not able to try any of the cold sandwiches but I’ve read great reviews. This establishment appears to provide consistent quality products, but again, not amazing.

Great sub!!! $ 8 for more than you need to eat — leftovers for me. The sandwich was fresh and new — I had the Sodium Sub on wheat. A little more cheese would have been nice and I didn’t see bacon on the menu (maybe I missed it). The place loses a star because they were mopping the floors as several of us were eating — just wait until you close. And they really need bacon.

Great place for lunch. Hubby had a sub and really enjoyed all the stuffings, I had a greek salad and it was yummy. Very casual but staff was great and food was worth it. Enjoy!

My first time there. Both of the girls told me… I will be a regular… They are right. The best Rachel (just like a Reuben made with Pastrami) I have ever had. The bread perfect crisp The meat to bread ratio WoW. You get what you pay for at this little place. The only reason they got a 4 is the soda fountain only had Mr Pibb, Diet, and lemonade

Stopped by on the boat to grab sandwiches for a picnic. They make it all while you wait, so plan for extra time. Used Boars Head Meats and plenty of condiments. Sandwiches are BIG and filling.
