I really enjoy their high-octane blend(forgot what it’s called, sorry). Strong does not have to mean«burnt»(I’m talkin’ to you snooty place with SB initials!). Friend is always satisfied with his green tea(and boy is HE a picky one). Enjoyed the flavored coffees too. Servers have always been ultra-cool. Sharing a space with the Metra station means a lot of foot traffic when trains are due to arrive or leave, but hey, go ahead and people watch! When life gives you lemons, right? Definitely a good choice if you’re taking the train, but with ample parking and seating there’s every reason to stop by for the coffee, tea and snacky thingys whenever the mood strikes.

An appealing selection of hot and cold drinks as well as snacks. A good selection of «coffee condiments» for your drink are offered. I felt that the prices were good especially when you consider the convenient location. I felt that the servers are very polite and helpful. A fair amount of clean and comfortable inside seating is available. There is an ATM in the dining area. A refreshing«local flavor» alternative to the overly pretentious national coffee chains.

I can’t see anything distinctly noteworthy about this place either way. Honestly, it’s about all you can expect from a coffee shop at a Metra station. They actually have a pretty ample seating area, all things considered, and offer a wide range of things on the menu. I’m not a regular on the Metra, but I can see how a place like this would be pretty nice if I were. That said, I got a mocha before a trip downtown yesterday(Yes, I’m a sucker for sugary coffee drinks), and I could barely tell that any espresso was in there. I think you have to get the right balance between espresso and chocolate in drinks like that, and here they seems to go a little to heavy on the chocolate. Either way, it hit the spot while I was on my way to the city.

Blech. How did this win an award? I got an iced mocha before hopping on the train and it was pretty gross — not like anything I’ve ever tasted. Certainly not mocha and certainly not COFFEE, which it should definitely have in it.
