This buffet is delicious! My boyfriend and I went for the dinner buffet one night. The food was all hot and fresh. It’s honestly one of the best buffets I’ve been to before! He doesn’t even care for Chinese food and was impressed! So glad we decided to try this buffet on a whim. :)

Not very good, too expensive. Most of the food was bland. I had the hot and sour soup, was hot not sour. Lily Garden is still the best, I would of gotten left over if I spend my $ 30 at Lily Garden. Only thing that was good was the Pepper Shrimp. We even left without eating dessert. Never will be back.

Not bad and not good for a Chinese buffet. 15 $ per person all you can eat. Food wise is so so. Price wise is okay. Service is so so. Place need updates and need to be cleaned really good. Ripped chairs and dirty tables.

We come here almost every weekend, and we love the food, the food is always fresh. The main reason why we come here almost every weekend is because my nephew loves crab legs. The crab legs are great, but the problem is that you have to wait sometimes a half an hour for them to bring out the crab legs. Once they bring them out, they are gone immediately, and if you didn’t get a chance to grab some, then you have to wait another half an hour. Sometimes you have to ask if they are going to bring out the crab legs at all. It is a buffet, they should constantly bring out the crab legs as they would for the other food. I don’t see why we have to wait for crab legs at a buffet when its all you can eat.

Usually I order here for a take out. The owners are very customer oriented and customize my food per my taste. I like spicy food with hot and curry powder. They serve large quantities and the price is very reasonable.

First off, there is higher quality buffet’s out there but for the price, location and the service; this is as good as it gets. The owner treats you like family, and the ladies who bring you drinks are fantastically nice. The food is all pretty good, and they have won ton soup which is a plus at a buffet. The weird thing is the garlic bread they have is to die for! SO GOOD! I recommend going at lunch time to get the best value.

Group of us go every month and I have missed a couple outings knowing the food was not all that great lately. Thought I would give it a try. Not sure whats up with this place, but food was cold again. Seems like some of them were leftovers. Sorry but Eek! Me thinks not going back.

For 11.99 for dinner, not really worth what I paid for. I wanted to try the place for the first time.
Hidden at the back of empty establishments.
Hot and sour soup, just hot and no flavor. not much variety… pepper shrimp is battered soggy shrimp. it says 100 items and sushi.. This is not 100 items. sushi is 2 varieties.
Tables smells like wet rag.
Sorry, not worth coming.

For a great family lunch or dinner this is the place to go. Great food like the crab Rangoon and alot of weird food such as the fried squid but the only problem is every time we leave the tip the waitress pressure us to give her more! She only came one time to refill my water and that’s it’s we were going to leave a $ 2 tip nut then she grabbed the $ 10 bill my mom had in her hand and forced it to put down as the the tip! How rude! And she’s done it more than once but beside that this buffet gets 3 stars for the great food

Been coming here for years with the family. Every year this place seems to improve. What I really enjoy about this Chinese buffet compared to others is the selection and the focus on cleanliness and detail. The family that runs it is always working hard to keep the place clean and fresh. Recently they removed the carpeting and put bamboo floors in.
On a consistent basis someone is walking around to make sure there are no scraps lying around.
The soup is great, their meats are never overfilled so they do not lie around for hours. Additionally, their crab and shrimp selection is wonderful.
The staff is dressed nice and care about their customers. I always like to leave them a nice tip for their hard work, especially on busy weekends.
What’s also nice is they offer a punch card where you receive a free dinner after buying a certain amount.
Truly a pleasure to sit down and eat there.

The description for two stars is perfect, «Meh, I’ve had better». Most items were bland and just not very tasty. Shrimp was good, that’s about it. No salad bar. I’m not sure why One Buffet is rated lower, but I preferred it easily over King Buffet. Only thing going for King buffet is it is $ 1 cheaper and includes a drink. Won’t be going back, would go to One Buffet or Jiang’s Mongolian.

King Buffet definitely met my expectations today as it was the first time I have ever been there. The inside has a typical Chinese restaurant feeling but it’s clean. The variety of options they have at their buffet is endless and all very good and fresh. I had been going to a different Chinese Buffet for lunch but they were over priced for what they offered. I will definitely be back many more times to King Buffet and I think this may be my new favorite restaurant of choice for my lunch time break!

Last night my husband and I took my father there for dinner. It was great as usual. The hot trays are always hot, the food is fresh and the cold trays are cold. A very clean atmosphere. This place is a jewel in Crystal Lake, if you like Asian food buffets with a large variety check this place out. People are very friendly also.

I love this place!
I’ve been going here for a long time, my fiancé and his family is the same, and my brother and his friends go here as almost a weekly or biweekly ritual. It’s very good and has a variety of things to choose from. Not too expensive, either.

Chinese buffets are Chinese buffets, but I do like this one. They’ve recently renovated the place to add more steam tables and a nice desert bar. The Hot and Sour soup is pretty darned good. I like their Crab Rangoon, Chicken Sticks and Fried Fish Chips from the appetizer table, although I do miss the Babequed Pork they used to put out. The Mixed Vegetables are good, but missing the Straw Mushrooms that I loved. There General Tso’s Chicken is a good choice, as is the Honey Chicken. The Pepper Shrimp is not bad either.
The place is clean and the staff attentive. The family who owns the restaurant are quite pleasant people, including the kids who are always helping out.
I generally come here two or three times a month, some times more often.

They just totally tuned this place up with additional steam tables, new floors and counters, new furniture. Also they moved that loud-​ass ice cream machine way to the back where it is less annoying.
Try the hot and sour soup, it’s surprisingly good.
