Went in recently looking for a smaller piece that could be carried without being seen, and what a surprise, their prices are higher than some chain stores and their selection is smaller than back in 2013 and one more point, they weren’t as friendly as they used to be. I remember when Larry was alive the business was above board and everyone worked as a team but now it appears that is all coming apart at the seams, which is really a shame it could be great once again

Stay away from this store. Went in yesterday looking for a handgun. The guy that waited on me got off the chair like I was bothering him. I wanted to look at handguns, the selection was terrible, Just a couple used guns in the counter no new ones. The guy kept asking questions about gun ranges and other questions that had nothing to do with me purchasing a gun. I left the store never to return. I think the guy was judging me on my gun knowledge that made me feel uncomfortable. I just wanted to look at new guns and possibly purchase one. The old Johnston’s is gone forever. Back years ago when it was Johnston’s Auto Parts and Guns it was a respectable gun dealer. Today forgetaboutit.
