We had been going to this Ruby-Tuesday for 18 years so obviously we found it pretty good. Quite a few times we each wanted a little bit of salad. So we would get ONE plate and split it. This was no problem for a lot of years as we would mention to the waitress we were eating only one plate, until last month. Our waitress summoned the manager who read us the riot act in that a salad could not be shared and he was sorry that we had eaten there for years without that being made clear. Anyone would be understanding that one paid salad bar order can’t possibly be consumed by multiple people and include multiple trips to the salad bar. But the manager wouldn’t go for ONE plate shared by a couple while at the same time by their rules he would allow another customer to go to the salad bar for half-a-dozen plates for the same price. Not good business. So my wife just left the salad uneaten as by then this manager had made her lose her appetite for any salad. As soon as we got home, I cancelled our Ruby-Tuesday account and we’ll probably never go back.

Last night A woman passed out at the bar… The regulars all watched over her like a dear friend and the female bartender cradled the woman’s head until she regained consciousness and the paramedics assisted. I rarely post on chain restaurants or unless I have a great or really poor experience, but i felt compelled… Sometimes these chains feel impersonal and corporate… but this location knows me by name even though I rarely frequent since my offices have moved away… I dare not mention the names, but the two bartenders amazed me and I have resolved to return here as I commute to and from work… and I encourage others to as well… if nothing else… all we have as people is each other… we must look after our friends, neighbors… finally I saw the Manager come and check in with the bartender and ask if they were ok… class act operation all around and I wanted to recognize these players and say thank you… Annoyingly a male bar patron started tweaking out… he was drinking Miller lite and asked for food packed to go… he clearly was uncomfortable with the attention not being on him and his astros hat… perhaps he should go to 99 instead.

Relocated to the area last night(from Boston) and now live in a condo that overlooks the plaza this restaurant is in. Came here because it’s close and I’m a huge fan of salad bars. Not only do they have the salad bar that many of us have come to love at a Ruby’s, but the chicken pasta dish(combinations of delicious melted cheeses mixed with marinara sauce) I ordered was out in record time, and was out of this world delicious! My waiter was also amazing(I believe his name was Tryel), offering the perfect blend of attentiveness and sincerity, without possessing any of the annoying traits we’ve all countlessly endured(waitstaff interrupting you every 2 minutes, or vanishing for half hour increments when you need a refill). I’d likely return here often since it’s less than a 5 minute walk from home, but I’ll likely make it a weekly visit if I continue to get this level of service and amazing quality of food! Please do yourself a favor and come give this place a try for yourself!

Good food, atmosphere, service; they have it all. Not the worst, but not the greatest. Common date night choice for me and my boyfriend. For a chain restaurant, they’re pretty good. 3 stars is perfect for them in my eyes.

I usually like this place, mostly because of the price and the salad bar. Service was good but the food was terrible. Both my brother and I got food poisoning from celebrating my dad’s birthday here. I had the buffalo chicken burger with salad bar… not sure how you could go wrong there. My mom ordered the turkey bites which came out raw and cold. She sent them back and got new ones but her appetite was no where to be found after biting into cold meat. After how sick I got from that, I won’t be going back.

Family came to celebrate Father’s Day. 3 out of 4 ordered meat and asked for a variety of different doneness. Made the mistake of asking for my hamburger rare, and making it a point to the waitress to emphasize that the kitchen has had problems in the past. Everything came out medium rare, including a hamburger and steak that were asked to be ‘well-done’. Steak went back twice to fix, taking over 25 minutes. Waitress though apologetic thought it appropriate to offer desert to the party member still waiting. After 25 plus minutes party member decided that she wasn’t going to wait any further. At no time did a manager come over to the table to see how things were. Waitress comped the uneaten steak and apologized. Contacted regional manager who apologized again and offered to make it right, since it was a special occasion. Received a 20 dollar credit towards another meal. Think they forgot the fact that the occasion was more important than the meal. Won’t be going here again.

Pick All that apply: __you are part of a large group of people that cannot come to a cuisine consensus __you do not like deliciousness __you cannot make up your mind __you are too lazy to try to venture out in this great land Did you pick any of those? Ok well then maybe Ruby Tuesday is a good choice. Not I, nor anyone else can travel that road for you. You must travel it by yourself. It is not far. It is within reach. Perhaps you have been on it since you were born, and did not know. Perhaps it is everywhere — on water and land. Truth be told, the vegetarian options here for me suck — and that is really what led to my unhappiness, yes — there is a salad bar but i just am not a salad bar guy. i had fries and onion rings for lunch. the beer selection is OK but they call Miller Lite a Craft Beer, which slices me from the inside. Also, the beer menu lists Yuengling and as we all know, that beer is not available in Connecticut, but it is on this menu. The saving grace for my trip to RT land was the waitress was nice and quick and friendly and the beers were cold. Go here if you must, you know what you are getting.

One of the better lower-end chain restaurants, though it seems like Ruby Tuesday’s doesn’t know who they want to be. I ate here for the first time in a few years, and apparently they now give cheddar biscuits while you wait for your appetizer/meal to arrive. Sounds incredibly familiar to me… ahemredlobster. Our food was eh and our server was awful and was on another planet. Even the salad bar was not that great, and it’s not that complicated to provide decent options.

We go here often and haven’t had a bad time with either food or service. I get the ribs and my wife, who’s more nutritionally conscious, finds plenty to eat as well. Decent value for this area.

I come for lunch during my break at work. The staff is always super friendly and respects my time constraints. Food and drinks are always delicious, restaurant is always clean. It’s always a great experience for me, especially when I seem to encounter the same waitresses and waiters. I love to have a mid-day spritzer and the bartender always make it perfect: super fruity juices with just a splash of rum. :) I love to come for lunch and look forward to it.

I have come here for dinner a couple times recently. The biggest pro, in my opinion, is the fact that they have a lot of healthy choices on their menu. Being a Weight Watchers member, it is hard to find restaurants to go to with Weight Watcher-friendly options. Their healthy options are clearly marked on their menu. The spaghetti squash is only 6 points — and with a biscuit, only 9. Pretty good for a restaurant! I got the spaghetti squash both times I came. It’s decent, but is always a little undercooked for my taste. I prefer spaghetti squash a little softer, rather than crunchy. People always rave about the salad bar at Ruby Tuesday’s — but I’m not in love with it. I prefer salads with nuts, dried cranberries, and soft cheeses like feta or gorgonzola — and they never have any of those things as options. The service was great on the first of my visits… and not so much the second time. The second time, the waitress told me they were all out of zucchini and asked if I wanted the spaghetti squash without the zucchini, or if I wanted to choose a different dish. I said without the zucchini was fine, and when she came back — the plate was full of zucchini. Strange. Then, she was serving a table full of people that she knew — and she kept stopping to chat with them for long periods of time. We ended up waiting at least 15 – 20 minutes after we were done for her to stop talking and come bring our check. Overall — it’s an okay place to go for an inexpensive dinner — and definitely a favorite choice of mine when I’m trying to stick to my Weight Watcher plan.

After a few days snowed in by a blizzard, I was in the mood for steak. Ruby Tuesday is a dependable go-to for comfort and comfort food. My daughter and I had no trouble polishing off the shrimp fondue dip. She wasn’t able to clear her bowl of pasta, which was after all large enough to feed a small country, but I found the serving size for a blackened steak and spicy shrimp much more reasonable. Our server was attentive and friendly, and we sincerely wished each other safe travel home as I departed. The restaurant frequently has substantial waiting times on weekend nights, as it really is a dependable go-to for a comfortable meal for the locals.

We just had the salad bar and two appetizers. Salad bar was almost completely empty and never restocked the entire time we were there. I ordered the Baja chicken quesadilla it was actually very good. My friend ordered the sampler and said everything was extremely spicy. Disappointing to say the least

The service is great. They have a nice salad bar and excellent WiFi. The noise level is good and even with lots of people it does not seem crowded. The one thing that keeps me from going back more often are the very uncomfortable bench seats used for the booths. They are very old vinyl covered springs.

I just ended up here again. I cannot stress how good the staff is. Buuuut, let me talk about the food. Ruby Tuesday has gone downhill over the years. As far as chains go, this used to be one of the better ones. I’ve ended up here two weeks in a row with a group of people, mainly due to where it’s located. To quote another member of our party«Hopefully this is the last we see of Ruby Tuesday’s.» While we were waiting for our orders, the waitress brought out some free samples of their new biscuits. They were actually pretty good. Buttery, a little spice. I enjoyed them. After being dissapointed with my sliders from last week, I decided to get one of their regular burgers. I’ve had them in the past, and was always pleased. So, I order an Alpine Swiss Burger medium rare. It comes out partially well done. I say partially because it was pink on the edges of just one half. I don’t even know how they accomplished that. The bottom half of the bun was soaked with grease, and fell apart. Now, grease usually means flavor. This tasted more like vegetable oil than beef fat. The beef itself was flavorless. As a side, I got the onion rings. They didn’t have the normal breading that slides off of the onion as you try to take a bite. Instead, it was this sharp, hard razor breading that kind of hurt to chew. Again, more of the flavorless oily weirdness. My cranberry juice was good, though. Another person in our party got the buffalo chicken sliders, and mentioned that they were good. They definitely looked proper, so I’ll give them that. Ruby Tuesday used to have really good burgers, but now everything just strikes me as a desperate attempt to hang on. I’m hoping I don’t end up here again next week.

This Ruby Tuesday is in a strip mall at the corner of Routes 3 and 372. Parking seemed adequate when we were there but I’m not sure how it is when the restaurant is busy. What am I saying? Ruby Tuesday is never busy. This is a typical Ruby Tuesday where the all-you-can-eat salad bar is the prime attraction and is far more interesting than any of the entrees. If you go to Ruby Tuesday, I recommend ordering one of the mini sandwich combos with the salad bar because that’s only a dollar more than ordering the salad bar as an entrée. The restaurant interior décor is low key, comfortable and boring, the standard for this restaurant chain. Restrooms were kept in good shape, as far as I could tell. Service was pretty good.
