My son has been part of Tenafly School of Rock for the last 4 years. SOR has truly been an amazing musical experience. This is a great school because in addition to providing music lessons, SOR has a unique hands on approach in allowing the kids to learn stage performance.
This approach allows the kids to grow individually in there craft as well as collectively as a group.
The staff from day one has been professional and inspirational to everyone. The instructors and
music directors provide them with a rich experience of all aspects and expectations of being a true musician. ROCK ON.

My son started at the Tenafly School of Rock when they first opened 5 years ago. I can not say enough about the staff and how they nurture these kids to bring out their true talents. Show after show I am blown away by how professional they are on stage.
The experience goes way beyond learning music. They learn how to interact and respect other musicians. How to give and receive corrective reviews. How to work as a group.
Tenafly School of Rock is more like a family then just a music school. The staff deeply cares for these kids and lifelong friendships are made.

My daughter has been going to School Of Rock in Tenafly since they opened. Everyone from the receptionist, manager, and especially the teachers have been friendly, kind and accommodating. They always have time to answer my questions, adjust scheduling or chat about what is going on with my child. What’s also very cool about School Of Rock is they teach so many different genres of music from the Beatles to Metal and even fabulous Motown, that now my daughter and I enjoy listening to the same music!
At the moment, my daughter is learning music theory which she also loves!
I give School Of Rock 2 thumbs up!
