We had the veggie breakfast burrito and veggie breakfast sandwich. Both were amazing! We were not disappointed! I would recommend this to anyone!

Fantastic. I had the Pastrami, my son had the Glazed BLT, both were perfect. Friendly staff, great selection. A must-eat in Crescent City.

For a town that doesn’t seem to have great places to eat, this was such a pleasant surprise!!! Foodies need to try breakfast here!!! My son and I had the veggie quiche and my husband had the breakfast burrito. Both were amazing and completely exceeded our expectations. They use the freshest whole food ingredients and even cure their own meats. We also ordered some of their delicious bakery items for the road. Coffee was weak for our taste but much better than what you would get a quick diner dive. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were great. Great way to end our over night stay in Crescent City.

Foodies — this is the spot in Crescent City. BLT is one of the best and the pulled pork nachos are incredible. High quality and unique taste for this special little seaside town.

Lovely staff, BBQ pulled pork worthy of a Texan, and a corned beef sandwich with scratch made focaccia that satisfied my hungry husband. What a wonderful surprise on our way through Crescent City. My daughter had the Caesar Salad with avocado and was also very happy. Vita Cucina, you have made this foodie family very happy today!

Best Morning Glory muffin I have had in years. Rest of the food looks like real food; seemingly rare in Crescent City.

The food was just decent(I had their«Best Pastrami» sandwich) but their counter people were moody and apparently not able to do more than one thing. They had two people working at the counter and the one person was slammed and trying to do everything while the other one just stood there checking her phone while I stood right in front of her, then gave me attitude when the busy person came back asking if the other woman had taken my order and I said no. The overall feeling there is that they are doing you a favor by taking your order…

Was just passing through & after reading all the amazing reviews, maybe my hopes were too high or I ordered the wrong thing? Had veggie breakfast sandwich with bacon on a croissant as recommended(said it was most popular & did look delicious) but just wasn’t impressed. Wasn’t very flavorful imo, thankfully there was hot sauce. Enjoyed their regular coffee though! Hubs ordered the breakfast burrito & said it was really good, would likely try again if we were still in the area

Oh my gosh!!! AMAZING food!!! Ahi Tuna sandwich was full of amazing flavor I have never experienced together! My husband said the hot and sour pulled pork was the BEST pulled pork sandwich he has ever had… and he has had a lot of pulled pork. Split pea soup was so amazing the bowl was licked clean. Caesar had perfect flavor with to die for croutons. Staff was super friendly.

Thank you, Unilocalers, for this great tip! What a find! This café is located in a small, somewhat rundown strip mall. The outside definitely does not match what you find inside: a funky, cool space, large open kitchen, and a display case with sandwiches, beautiful salads, and yummy baked goods. I chose the pastrami sandwich $ 8.50, and a Ranger cookie. Both were excellent. The pastrami is house cured, and the best I’ve ever had. Topped with a hand-chopped coleslaw, on crispy toasted focaccia. Spectacular in every way! The cookie was generously sized and scrumptious. I hope to go back again before I leave the area! Made it back the next day for a wonderful garden salad with grilled chicken. The small is generous! and a lot of chicken as well. Fabulous dill dressing, though there was a little too much of it for my taste. Also tried a different dessert: the coconut macaroon cookie. Very good.

The perfect stop for breakfast on my road trip north. The breakfast burrito with pulled pork was just a tad spicy and delicious. I was also able to pick up lunch to-go so I could stop wherever I wanted later. The picnic breads(forget what they called it) but is like a deluxe bagel or bialy were perfect for the road. Clean bathroom!

Strangely stingy about their jam. We asked for some to go with the our croissant and the woman said they didn’t have any… Strange. I ordered the yogurt parfait that came with a whopping tablespoon of granola. And jam on top. When I asked again for jam again she claimed it was too strong. When I told her we didn’t care, she returned with an ounce-worth and an attitude. Granola to yogurt ratio was cheap for the $ 3.50 I paid for it. We also ordered the breakfast burrito which was devoid of flavor or joy. It had the driest pulled pork I’ve ever come across to go along with the underripe tomatoes and unsalted eggs. If you’re going to serve mediocre food, at least be nice about it.

This is an amazing deli. They put heart into their food… that’s rare these days. I had an delicious corned beef sandwich and an above-average side salad. I added another side of broccoli salad and mixed the two — good call. Staff was friendly but be prepared to have a wait. The fifteen minutes from arrival to eating was worth the wait. They have a few tables outside and the locals were kind enough to share the table with me. Kudos to Unilocal as there is NOWAY I would have found this place otherwise!

Menu is extremely limited at dinner(unless you are getting pizza since there are more than 10 kinds of pizza and calzones). By the time we showed up at around 6pm there were only 2 salads and 3 sandwiches left. I got Randy’s favorite vegetarian which was a spin on a Greek salad and had mozzarella and chickpeas(no greens). My friends got a pizza, a turkey salad croissant sandwich and a small broccoli salad. Man. The broccoli salad was probably the best salad I have had. Definitely not the healthiest because the brocs were doused in mayo but OMG this dish made being a vegetarian sound not so crazy.(Although I cannot imagine having the entire bowl to myself because it can get incredibly rich in the end). Don’t expect the pizzas here to be Neapolitan or Chicagoan or New Yorker or whatever. It is a delicious pie made by a baker and will make you satisfied. Most people find this place through Unilocal and the people working here are indeed aware that they receive really good reviews. But once again come during lunch hours not dinner.

Holey crap! Kathi and both had the BLT on Foccacia bread with glazed bacon… best we’ve ever had! Got here at 10:30 am and by 11:15 customers were 4 deep. Great service and lots of locals being called by the first name. We will come back for the pulled pork! Smelled good…

From the amazing reviews I assumed this was the place to go. They burn… err. bake their own goods EXCEPT sourdough, this is brought in. Apparently too much for this bakery. Three of us for breakfast at 9:00am. Here is the run down. Service was good. Didn’t wait too long to order. Took them awhile turn over toast the focaccia so delivery to the table was a bit lengthy. Croissant was large and burnt on the didn’t contain any of that buttery goodness a good croissant has. The pulled pork sandwich was large and delicious Their Best Pastrami was far from it. Delivered on croûton hard focaccia with a mound of sauerkraut and very little pastrami. Peyton’s favorite(poor Peyton) was thief version of biscuits n gravy with a potato roll… they didn’t have any potato rolls so opted for the focaccia… the top was a croûton the bottom in the gravy was soft. The gravy was bland and tasted of flour. The only saving grace was the delicious bacon.
