Do you like high priced watered down drinks? If so then this is the place for you! The only good thing about this place is the fact that there are rarely other people there, but when there are, you better bet they’ll hit on your wife when you’re in the bathroom! Go to the casino or wherever else. This place is a total dive.

Dive bar dive bar dive bar As long as you keep this in mind you will like this place. It’s about the only thing open past 11 and that shows when you are there. We got there about 930 and was dead with about 6 people. Closer to 11 more people arrived and by midnight there was a good crowd. Bartender was pleasant and they have good selection of beers. They only accept cash so don’t forget to get some before you go out. There is a dance floor and a nice large window you can sit at and look out at ocean and street

This place gets my five stars for various reasons. 1) It’s trying it’s best to get a small town’s nightlife going, they offer, Karaōke, themed nights, great deals on drinks, friendly staff and are centrally located with plenty of free parking. 2) The people my friend and I encountered while we stayed in Crescent City were really cool, down-to-earth, fun people. We’re from the San Francisco area and even though there are a lot of great people here, life can be more pretentious here. We really didn’t run into anyone in that bar that gave us that vibe. On the contrary, everyone seem to be having a great time, cowboys, jocks, hippies, older, younger, men, women. We met so many guys and girls that just wanted to get to know us. People actually shook our hand when they introduced themselves and we all just hung out like we’ve known them for years. Everyone seems to really enjoy Karaōke night, which is the night we went on and the stage is never empty. I even too part and sang a few songs for the very first time in my life, it was really fun. 3) The staff that works there is personable, fun, friendly. The weekend seems to be a little quieter, seems everyone goes to Brookings OR on the weekend. I say we need to support our local bars and nightlife right here in the city otherwise they might go under and then what will we do on a week day or weekend?

It gets one star because I cannot give it a lower rating. Dive bars can be cool, but this place is ridiculous. Dirty tables, over-served regulars. This place is so bad that local police stage close by. Lord forbid you are anything but white. This place is dirty and stagnant. Please, someone tear this place down and replace it with an «in-n-out» Burger joint. After visiting this place you will doing the«crying game» shower.

The only real bar in town… apparently there were others, but they were closed by 11pm… whah? The local flavor was entertaining, there was a DJ playing random and sometimes cheesy(in the best way possible) music, a dance floor, pool table and reasonably priced cocktails… who could ask for more when you’re passing through a sleepy town?

This bar is spaceous and clean. It really changes when you go inside. The outside is very non descript like the reviews say, but inside it’s clean, full of locals and friendly people. Great place to enjoy a drink in Crescent City. The best bar there that I know of.

«One of the cleanest bar’s(sic) on the west coast» reads the laminated banner for the Turf Club that greeted us in the darkness as we pulled up to the cube-inspired building. We were unsure what to expect as we entered. The inside is pleasant. It fits the backwoods feel of the town, though nothing stands out. There is a large bar and a karaōke stage as well as a pool table. Domestics are $ 2.75 and most others are $ 3.50, which makes it the Turf Club an affordable source of libations in Crescent City.

We loved this place! We were on our road trip honeymoon and were staying the night in Crescent City. We stopped in for one beer, but ended up closing the bar down. Friendly service, friendly locals and the place was immaculate. We played pool, sang karaōke and got to know the locals. Everyone was very cool.

Rough exterior, we almost skipped it. But the interior is clean, bar well stocked and big TVs. Might be the best thing about Crescent City.
