I was going to the Quaker Steak, cuz I knew the chain, but it was so damn crowded. So I left there coming next door to this place… Boy, I am so happy I did. Tony, bar tender was great giving me his advise as to what to order. I started with wings and he advised his flavor which I really enjoyed. I ordered a burger smothered with onion, again, fantastic. The beer selection was great but samplers would be a nice addition to menu. I loved the place. Music selection was right in form for me tonight. I will most definitely return!!!

Read this like 3.5 stars. This is a sports bar in an area that boasts a wing place(Quaker Lube), sandwich spot(Primanti’s) and a convenience store/gas station that sells fresh made-to-order food(Sheetz). Pretty stiff competition. Came in for a really late lunch/early dinner to place a to-go order. Place is empty(which was exacerbated by the size of the place — its fairly large). Ordered wings, full rib/chicken combo(came with salad and fries). Service was great — bartender kept checking on us and promptly gave us our food… The ribs are good, the fries were great(even lukewarm), and the wings are large with sauce that sticks to the wings… even cold. On top of all of that — the food was relatively cheap. Not bad Cranberry, not bad.

Food was terrible. I ordered the BBC burger tp go and it tastesd like meatloaf on a bun. They forgot my union ring and I also asked for it medium and it was as dry as can be. won’t be back

Normally I utilize Unilocal to crush a place or talk about a bad experience. This post will be the complete opposite of that. Great SERVICE because that is key, awesome food, you can tell it was made with care, and to top it all of KILLER beer selection!!! I will definitely be back and this is a hidden gem in a township of mediocre restaurants.

I got the ribs. They were very good! Service was very good for a really busy night. Try to avoid being seated near the children’s play area if you plan on a quiet meal!

Had a great time here with my dad! We drove about an hour just for their ranch fries alone– definitely one of the best uses I’ve ever seen for french fries! Dad had the Fire and Ice burger and absolutely LOVED it, he said it was a great mix of spicy and cool. I personally had the cheesy potato soup, which had a great taste to it and a nice helping of bacon to boot. Also, we had a half dozen of the garlic parm ranch wings, which were outstanding! Some of the best wings I’ve ever had, incredibly well seasoned and extra crispy, which I always love. Our server, Carrie, was really friendly and attentive as well. Overall a wonderful experience, totally worth the drive!

Had some excellent Carolina Cajun wings tonight! Wings were a good size and nice and crispy… not soggy. The burger on the pretzel bun was awesome and the homemade potato chips were an excellent side.

Two stars for location and ambience. TVs everywhere allow you to watch the game at all times even if you are walking to the bathroom(maybe TVs in the bathroom would make it perfect?). Food sucks. The tortilla chips are evidently from a bag and they were hard, clearly old. The mango sauce was a salt pit; a banana as a side would be great to offset the high sodium intake. The burger was dry; hardly any flavor. Something must have not been cooked properly(maybe the bacon?) since 2 hours later I had diarrhea. The chips that came with the burger were way over fried; dry, hard, and too brown.

JD Burger is awesome. Great draft list. Music selection is good. The only downside is the jukebox. Some people choose some pretty awful songs.

Average beer list and the food was ok. Nothing to brag about. Horrible music selection.

It was a cold day yesterday when I ate here with a group from work but the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Awe the name implies this is a sports bar which I found to be appropriately decorated. Plenty of TVs tuned to the right channel. There were five in our party so we were in one of the side rooms and not in the main bar area which was perfect for conversation and story telling that tends to go on. We started with the nachos which was plant for five men and were also very tasty. I had the southwest veggie burger which was tasty. I especially like that is came on rye bread and was dressed with lettuce, tomato, onion, and a southwest sauce. I also had their pirogies as my side. They were delicious! I do love pirogies! The rest of the my party opted for fish, salads and burgers. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. This is a great place that I will eat at again.

Food and service were both great. Nice drink selection and atmosphere. Often a favorite choice in our out to eat crew.

Wow, this place is really good. Best spinach artichoke dip I’ve ever had. The wings are incredible. I was surprised how good the food actually was. It’s tucked away behind the main drag but it was crowded, so that shows people didn’t just happen upon it. If you looking for good wings don’t go to Quaker Steak and Lube next door, try the one’s here. You will be so much happier. I had a filet mignon salad. Maybe one of my favorite salads that I have eaten. Great job. It is for loud families and friends. So not a quiet dinner by any means. They took a sports bar and cared about the quality of food. Really nice to see. I will be back, repeatedly.

You have to keep an open mind when you come here because the food and service can be a hit or miss, so only go if you are craving for bar food or to have drinks and watch games, and really just expect laid back because unfortunately, there’s going to be a chance that you will be waiting for your order or for the server to come around and check on you. I think the worst area is in the corner in the back patio. We sat there once and it seems the server forgot about us. It took about 20 mins to just get our drinks in. It was a saturday and a pirates game night, so good reason. Other times we were there, service wasn’t as bad, but I do feel like it’s where you’re seated, so try to sit at the bar or near the bar or the middle part of the patio closest to the door, so someone is always walking by. I’ve also seen the manager come around several times to check on diners and one time, he even brought out wings for everyone to try. In the world of sports bars in cranberry, I do rate this one higher because there are things on the drink list and menu that I do like such as their mango wings and garlic parm wings(IMHO, their wings are better than primanti’s). Their pizza is pretty good. The sandwiches are ok. My husband likes them. I like the chips that come with the sandwiches. The drink list is extensive, price is on point for a sports bar, they have a good happy hour, and lots of tvs. definitely a good place to watch games. Most of all, the brownie sundae is amazing! The brownie has chocolate chips in it and topped w/caramel. Drools…

Another«sports bar» place with middle of the road food; and middle of the road service. And of course, lots of TV space to create the notion of «activity» and«service» when the reality is a middle of the road, noisy sports bar. Beer choices — really… we live in a great place for custom beers — and the tap is just normally uninspired. This is not a composite review. As just another sports bar, it really doesn’t have anything unique to bring us back. f8 and be there(but not here again)

Large but very basic beer selection. They need to get on board with the craft beer craze. The garlic ranch dressing is…(insert favorite Guy Fieri catch phrase here). Otherwise, it’s decent bar food in a nice, but loud atmosphere. Best place in Cranberry to experience a Pens game for sure.

Great staff, good food. Patio is great but becomes EXCELLENT when RiverRider is playing! Beer is perfect temperature is perfect and there are plenty of TV’s to catch any game.

I went here for dinner on a Sunday night around 6. I sat in the dining room and I have one word. LOUD. I was expecting noise and chatter because it is a sports bar but this one is particularly noisy. Aside from the noise, I got the buffalo ranch chicken sandwich. It was good and the fries were good also. My brother got the burger that was on a pretzel bun and that was also good. The food is typical sports bar food. The beer selection looked decent. I will try to come back during football season and see what it’s like then.

We have eaten here a few times and it has always been pretty good. The menu is generally bar food, which is what Pittsburgh does best. The fish sandwich is very good – large as per Pittsburgh standards – and the bread it was on was very good too. Although I am not sure if it was a Mancini’s roll. The Bloody Mary was good, not great. I am a Bloody Mary fan and have a very high bar for excellence. Drinks are priced fairly, but not great. You’re paying a little more to have a thousand televisions and a nicer atmosphere. This is a sports bar(duh) and there are TVs everywhere. Easy viewing your game of choice and monitoring a few others as well. The interior is new and nice, but definitely expect a sports bar/TGIFridays setting.

I haven’t eaten here so let’s start there. Been here a couple times, had some beer and some conversation, looked at the menu but didn’t order. Nothing looked good to me. Odd, I know, since I love bar food. Maybe I’m missing something but when I looked at the plates of food that others around me were eating, it didn’t excite me. Not that I need to be excited to eat! I’ll just let others attest to the food quality. The beer selection wasn’t up to my expectations. OK, they say they have 20 draft beers on tap. But when I have to struggle and end up compromising on a draft beer choice, something is amiss. I LOVEIPA’s. It’s easy — put some IPA’s up there. Get rid of the lite beers or reduce the selection there. Please! The inside is eerily similar to the failed Uno Pizza that occupied this space before. And that was similar to the prior establishment that also failed. This place feels like it has an expiration date already established. Adding a few TV’s to the wall wasn’t enough to make it that much different than Uno’s and certainly doesn’t reach the sports bar threshhold. OK, it was packed for March Madness. The real test will be those long months without sporting events when they have to rely on something other than sports to bring people in. And then the challenge of bringing them back.
