The food is awesome every time we go there but sometimes the servers are not that friendly and forget to refill your coffee. No lemons either it’s packets of lemon juice.

Chicken fried steak, baby. Not frozen. The gravy will knock your socks off. I crave it every morning.

I live 2 doors down from Lynna’s, & am glad I do. This is your classic small town diner where they know your name, but doesn’t feel like a private club where regulars stare at you when you come in, making you uncomfortable. They close after lunch, but have been known to stay open Thursdays until 8pm, serving ayce fried chicken or fish. The breakfasts are especially good here, with their $ 5.99 special a huge offering. Lynna herself is always makes the rounds, meeting people & making sure everything’s ok, but the real gem here is Carol, who makes everyone feel like a friend. She even went out of her way once on her way home, dropping something off at my home because they didn’t have it at the time I went in. I tried to pay her, she refused & just said«Merry Christmas!»(& no doubt she would’ve done this if she hadn’t known me) – so rare these days. Thank you, Carol! Lynna, please, never retire or sell-out!

I’ve worked my way through most of their menu and can’t really complain about anything. Servings are generous and well prepared. NOTE: Bring cash, they don’t take cards.

I stop in for breakfast any time I am in Northern Kentucky. I enjoy this place because it has a diner feel, has been there forever, and has good food. If you’re looking for new and shiny-skip this place. If you’re looking for good food and service, stop in for a quick bite!

My wife and I tried Lynnas for breakfast shortly after moving to Latonia last year. It is now our weekly breakfast spot. Simple and awesome diner good. Cooked to perfection. Topped off by awesome service from Carol and Erma. An old fashioned neighborhood spot. Don’t forget, cash only.

Best place to get you a good«heart» healthy breakfast. Breakfast special with goetta is my favorite. Come here if you want mommas homemade breakfast without having to do the dishes.

I went to Lynna’s eager to try another hometown diner. I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Lynna’s Grill looks like a 1970s diner inside and out. The exterior is noted with layers of a brown shingled awning and faded Pepsi sign. Inside, the décor is brown, Brown, BROWN! Hardwood paneling, faux-brick linoleum, light and dark brown upholstered chairs and booths. The restaurant allows smoking and has that dried-in, 40 year old cigarette stench. Two 60-somethings women were working the kitchen. I ordered a club sandwich and deluxe side salad. The salad was pretty sad. I received a styrofoam container with a cup of iceberg lettuce. There may have been a tomato slice and some shredded Kraft in there. I had two bites and threw the rest out. The club sandwich wasn’t much better. The turkey was gristley and greasy. It tasted more like white bologna. The tomatoes weren’t fresh, and(surprise!) more iceberg lettuce. Plus, both dishes tasted like they had been around cigarette smoke. My meager lunch cost over $ 10; way too pricey for the type and quality of food that I had. It appears their chalkboard specials are the only thing that is cheap here. When I went to pay, I was informed that the restaurant does not accept credit cards. There was a small sign by the register noting this, but I was not told about this upon ordering. I fished through my wallet for enough cash to cover the bill. I went to Lynna’s looking for greasy spoon diner food and they were unable to provide up to par.

Great breakfast spot on the weekends. Typical diner food, eggs, goetta, sausage, sandwiches. I had an omlette there this morning and loved it. The price is always right there as well. Note, they do not accept Credit Cards. Get the special, leave un-hungry :)
