Just opened, the chicken chili poblanos are to die for. Give them a chance, anything better than el charros where cheese is their only seasoning. Plus they don’t even know what a poblano is. Can’t wait for them to get their liquor license.

Hate to give the place one star, but the food was just not good. Refried beans were not seasoned. Very bland. Carne Asada was greasy and over cooked, no seasoning. Came with RAW instead of grilled onions. I used to live in San Antonio– I’ve eaten a TON of Mexican food– that was s first. Carnitas were dry and tasteless. Maybe we wouldn’t have noticed if we could have had s few margaritas, but no liquor license. Sadly this place turned out below average Mexican food. Hope they can find a new cook.

I stopped in for lunch today even though Mexican food is not my favorite. The service was very friendly and fast. I ordered the camarones diablo. Overall it was pretty good, I did like the sauce. Unfortunately there was just way too much of it for me to really enjoy it, but that’s just my personal preference. On a higher note, I liked the salsa, guacamole, beans, and rice. I will definitely return and try something different next time, they do have some good looking lunch specials. I’m rooting for these folks to become better than the other Mexican joints in town, since those aren’t anything to write home about.

They must have fixed things since the first review because we had great service and the food was good. No alcohol yet but they have a really nice bar. Not from the area but I would be back if I were.

This is a recently opened Mexican restaurant that likely will not last very long. Terrible food and service. It was my first and last time eating here.
