This is the best version of an authentic taco you will find in a 20 mile radius. The carne asada mulitas are REALLY good. The entire family of five highly approved. The only problem is that I most likely will gain a few pounds since this truck is down the street from my house.

This taco truck helps me learn Spanish! Haha. Well… practice it. Haha you know it’s good when you wanna speak Spanish to the servers. Lol. Yeap. Tulia’s tacos are amazing! There’s an Alberto’s and Tacobell down the street and I don’t even go there because I know Tulia’s beats them all! Their food is pretty authentic. Go on an off hour cause the food might take a bit longer for it to be ready.

Best taco truck in the west! Good portions, great taste, and you feel good after you eat. Good prices, and the best it’s cooked right in front of you, …all fresh!

One of the better taco trucks I’ve had in awhile! It’s so hard to find a place that is even open late in this area. We went around 10:30pm, and believe it or not, many places are already closed by that time. Only ones left open in the area are a couple lounges that serves burgers. I didn’t want anything fatty, so I went for tacos. They have a good selection of other foods here. Apparently Wednesdays(whole day) are Happy Hour Tacos for $ 1. I had the asada and lengua tacos. Both were really good. Compared to other taco trucks I’ve been to, this one is actually one of the better ones. The sauce they use in the tacos were bomb! Never had a taco with this type of sauce from other taco trucks. So I was impressed. They give you a pepper, huge slices of onions, and cucumbers on the side. Overall, I’m glad I got to try this. Above my expectations.

I have always been pleased with the food from Tulia’s Tacos in the past. I have ordered buche(extra crispy), carnitas and al pastor tacos many times over the past few years. Well… I guess my streak ended yesterday. I decided to take a break from my usual taco joint and go back to Tulia’s Tacos. It has been awhile and was craving their goods. I ordered a large horchata, 4 al pastor tacos, 4 chorizo tacos, 2 carnitas tacos and 1 guarache al pastor. Lady taking my order was pleasant enough and it was just her and another woman cooking up the orders. Wait is usual as they make your order fresh. SOOO, I was super excited to devour the tacos and try out the guarache. Boy… was I disappointed when I got home. I can only presume there was some sort of misunderstanding but ya… my order was wrong and oh so bad… –Carnitas tacos looked like they were chicken instead. The meat was very dry and crisp… –Chorizo and al pastor tacos were just BAD! Hardly palatable and I am not even sure I was eating chorizo. Didn’t taste or look like it and whatever meat was in those 8 tacos. tasted rancid. –Guarache al pastor was eh. It was smothered in lettuce, a bit of avocado, 2 tomato slices and hint of beans and al pastor. Again, the meat was gritty and questionably al pastor. Tacos came with sliced cucumber, grilled serrano chile and grilled onions. Overall…soooo disappointed with this order. Not the quality I have had before and was just sad because I have enjoyed them very much in the past. Don’t think I will give them another ago and will stick with other taco places that I frequent now.

Mine and my boyfriends favorite taco spot. Kind of far from us but definitely worth the drive.

Awesome tacos! They make the tortillas fresh and you can definitely taste the difference. I’ve had the tacos and burritos and they’re both delicious. My favorite is the tripa and al pastor. I’d definitely recommend this place especially if you live close by. They also have great prices on catering! Ohh and they accept card which is a big plus!

Always wanted to stop by and try their food. Finally we did the other day. The tacos were really good and full of flavor; asada, al pastor and chorizo. The green salsa was not spicy which I loved. The radish and onions were a nice touch. I also got an horchata which was really good. Now I know where I can get delicious mexican food.

Tulia’s is legitimately the best taco joint in the area. I’ve never seen them dish out a freshly made tortilla, always recently made Diana’s(which aren’t bad in their own right). Meat variety is where they shine, including some of my faves(lengua, buche, carnitas) and other stars(cabeza, tripa). Meat portions are decent, maybe because I always order tacos with just the meat. The salsa is good, with the red being the spicy one. Quesadillas are made using a folded over burrito tortilla, and generously filled with cheese and meat, probably worth the $ 5.

Great taste! Reason for the 3 stars is the portions. Under all the cilantro and bundled up tacos is like a few scraps of meat. So a taco for $ 1.25 I would expect a full taco. But besides that it has a great flavor and texture with the meat. I especially enjoyed the grilled onions. The wait time is a bit long I noticed they try to knock out all orders at once.

Best food truck in the area! Their tacos are always really good. With in walking distance from my place and open late it beats Taco Bell. The line are long but it good.

They make tortillas on the spot! EDIT: Sometimes they make them earlier. Try to catch them freshly pressed. Much less spicy the fourth time I had the lengua. I prefer the usual heat — come on, make me cry! Hungry late one night while staying at West Covina and found this gem. Google Map gave me some weird directions to an alley. The truck is on the main street, parked outside a plaza with ballroom dance and martial arts studios. The area was pretty dead at night. Felt safe enough. The truck has a table guests can use. There are also stools, folding tables, chairs. Anyway, to the food… Great carne asada and lengua tacos, preferred those over the carnitas. A good amount of heat, unlike the trendy ones out west. Cool down with some horchata. Will def visit again when business takes me out that way

Love Tulia’s. Some of the best carne asada tacos around. I’ve only eaten here once, so I have yet to explore their menu. I had a few bites of a burrito and it was just as good as the tacos. I will be returning, but only during the day or early night. The crazies lurk here late at night.

It’s a taco catering truck! Did you expect palm trees, a view overlooking the ocean? Or waiters, in an exquisite dining room with sculpter art on the walls? Valet parking for your lavish dining experience? Sober up, all you get here is an average burrito Maybe a half decent chicken taco in a well greased up corn tortilla shell. Sodas are good, in them nice tall bottles. And your dining area is the nice flipped out metal 10 foot by one foot shelf, where you stare at a window eight inches from your nose and watch the two ladies cook your food, with trash in the gutter below. Or you can sit in the dozen + chairs up against the wall… sitting in litter eating your food. They try their best, but they still messed up the orders. At night, keep your eyes open, because it is dark and dingy and not always the best characters floating around the neighborhood. Aaaah…now I’ll go back to my limo… off I go into the dark…

This is one of my favorite«authentic» Mexican taco trucks. You can get all the things you would find in a café in Mexico. So good. My personal favorite is the asada tacos with everything on them. And a nice cold glass of horchata.

A five-star taco truck?! Not even a truck… A full on kitchen on a trailer. After reading all the great reviews. I had to try them out for myself. DO get the mulitas, the horchata, even the bean & cheese burrito. The mulitas are to die for! They grill that tortilla to perfection!!! You get that perfect«crunch» bite and you just KNOW. I’m a wimp when it comes to salsa, so next time — I’ll have to request none or on the side. But I’m a fan for sure! The horchata is so good! They make it perfect, most places make it way toooooo sweet. But they nailed the ratio. I wanted everything on their menu, their tacos are BOMB. And they make their own tortillas!!! I’m in love. Pry me away.

Since my beloved Hernandez Taco Truck has moved away I’ve been searching high and low for another taco truck and Tulia’s came to the rescue! Tula’s tacos is located on Arrow Hwy, on the street next to Cue-Time Family Billiards. You can park in the parking lot of Cue-Time and walk over to Tulia’s. The hours are great! They are open daily Sun-Thurs until 10PM and Fri-Sat until 12AM. So if you are feeling some midnight munches in the middle of the night this is the perfect place to go! Everything is made fresh and you can watch them make handmade tacos in the little window of the trailer. I’ve only bought burritos but you can choose from a variety of meat(asada, chicken, pork, etc). Prices were $ 5 for the burrito and they come with a generous amount of meat, rice, and beans.
