Cold Stone Creamery

We had been ordering birthday cakes from this particular cold stone creamery for over 10 years. I had a custom cake made for my son where it was noted on the order form that that cake was to be chocolate and the ice cream flavor was oreo cookie with strawberries and bananas mixed in. I was charged $ 54 dollars for this cake as it was the large round cake and i had it decorated with a sponge bob theme. The cake was decorated nicely, no argument there. It wasn’t until we cut in to the cake that we realized that red velvet cake was used instead of chocolate cake and there was not a single trace of strawberries or bananas in the ice cream. I had almost 20 people to serve this cake to so I took pictures of it and called this store the following day. Long story short, the only thing the «owner» offered was a 40% refund. Covina Cold Stone, if you’re going to charge $ 50+ dollars for a cake you should make it as requested or give a full refund for YOUR MISTAKE. And to think I was asked if I still had the cake to take it to them so they could see that there was not strawberries or bananas in it. I can see I’m not the only one who has had a bad experience at this particular shop.

I went here a while ago and got an ice cream sandwich. It was pretty tasty, but I didn’t realize how much coloring is in the ice cream. Some flavors I used to like have become too sweet to me. I really want to try their cupcakes!

I love Cold Stone Creamery. All ice cream really. How can you go wrong. But I have one tip for customers and management:
Keep an eye on Danny. Not only will he make your order wrong multiples times and leave out ingredients (leading me to believe he doesn’t have enough product knowledge) AND overcharge you, but he will give you attitude if you say anything about it!
There’s more employees there who need an attitude adjustment, but Danny is by far the worst.
It’s too bad because the product is great but as long as they employ a night crew full of people with an «I’m too cool for this» attitude I doubt anything will change.

We stopped by to by my Dad a Birthday cake.
His favorite flavor is mint and chip. They had one available and it was the perfect size.
I myself not being such a fan of the flavor got it any way.
After arriving at my Parents to cut the cake we let it sit for about 30 minutes before as told by our server to give the cake some time to defrost a bit.
I decided to try a piece after we did the traditional singing of Las Mananitas. I was served a piece and can honestly say it was the first piece of Mint and Chip that I have really enjoyed. The Ice Cream was delicious.
Now I am a fan of Mint and chip from Coldstone!!!

I went to this place after watching the movie at AMC, they gave me a discount. I always get «Gotta Have It» with two flavors Cake Batter and Cheesecake mixed with Graham Crackers and Strawberry Sauce.

It was a good experience with the server Alex he’s the nicest person in the store. He was very helpful and willing to accommodate. He goes far and beyond to make each experience to the store worth while.

Very clean environment, fast service and nice employees, the only thing was they said their credit card machine had been acting up for a few days, I am a pretty patient person so I didn’t mind but I know there are a lot of impatient people that might get bothered by the wait time, so hopefully management can get that fixed soon!

Always satisfied when I come here. Always get more then I ask for and the staff is great! In and out within a couple minutes. I never go to any other cold stone but this one!

My favorite place for ice cream close to home. Alex is super cool and very cheerfu. I love using the buy one get one free coupons from my emails. I always upgrade to a gotta have it and pay the difference. Best thing ever! My favorite mix is banana, sweet cream, and cheesecake with graham cracker crust.

We have been to a few branches of the ice creamery but this one in particular has left an impression: happy greeting at the door, great selection of ice cream and toppings, not to mention the choices for other treats, and best of all, customer service. Our server was Cesar and he was amazing: got the orders (4) right and was sure to keep our orders nice and cold by placing each one in a bag and in the refrigerator until order was completed. Not only great service with a smile and friendly but also noted very clean, he washed his hands each new order. Bonus Wonderful visit and I recommend check out this Coldstone !! I have been to other Coldstone locations but this one has the most friendly staff!!! They go out of their way to make your experience a great one! Ice cream is the best! Happy Customer for a long time!!!

Service was good! Coldstone is just inherently a little expensive.

In Love with Coldstones! Can’t go wrong here if you want a delicious ice cream treat or just anything sweet. I enjoy making my own ice cream creation but if you have a difficult time choosing, you could always select from the Signature favorites… mine would be the Chocolate Devotion. Somewhat pricey for a scoop of ice cream and toppings but it’s worth it!

My experience here was terrible. We went to the movies next door then came to this establishment and they happened to have a special going on, if you buy a certain size you get another free if you present your movie ticket stub, no where on the sign did it say a custom creation and when I asked where it said that on the sign they pointed to the ice cream picture so I have no idea how that is proper advertising on their part but won’t be returning.

Friendly and efficient service. Awesome ice cream and unlike other locations they’ve never run out of my fav flavors :)

Very good just like any other cold stones.
I always get the banana split decision (they dont have it on the menu anymore) and it never disappoints. I highly recommend this. Some newer employees wont know what it is since they took it off the menu a couple years ago.

Came here with a friend and we both had a positive experience. Their customer service is good, and their products taste pretty fresh.

Wow, this is good Ice Cream ! These guys and gals hooked me up ! They put so much Heath Bar in my Gotta Have It, it’s like a candy bar in every bite. Folks, this is the Real Deal here, Real Ice Cream, Not that Soft — Serve goo that Dairy Queen tries to pass off as Ice Cream.

The fact that this location is so close to me makes it a very dangerous place for my wallet and my belly. But don’t let that stop you because it sure doesn’t stop me from coming in and getting my fix. (Don’t forget, there is a Planet Fitness gym near by too so you can work out that waffle cone) The quality of the ingredients and the ice cream though makes up for the price that you pay. SO many different kinds of possibilities if you decide to create your own but if you can’t make up your mind, they have a few creations already available for you to ask for. You can also tweak them if you don’t like certain things in them. Being that its near the theater, it can be crowded at times. Most of the workers are friendly and helpful.

Again, this place is totally in our hood and pretty much we can say literally across the street from our house. When its hot and you want something cold… COLDstones! When you are bored and want something yummy… Cold stones (there is endless possibilities of toppings/​mixtures/​creations you can make here). Before or after the theater. take a few steps and you are at Coldstones.
This place is usually a bit crowded after the movies though. Of all the times we’ve been here, the staff has been friendly and always carry a conversation with you (great when there is no line, but if there is a line. try to make it short and keep it going, we always feel bad for the customers behind us). Oh and the staff here is always really patient! I tend to change my mix ins at times and can’t bring myself to choose one creation. The staff has been helpful and is always willing to recommend mix ins to try in there. The prices are a bit over priced to come here on a weekly basis but keep an eye out for coupons here and there. I am sure the calories and sugar content would get me cottage cheese thighs eventually so we try to come here sparingly but the cravings get to me all the time and Wilson ends up giving in as well.
