Housemade sauce with quality meats and veggies. Step up your(708) pizza tastes and go with Lido’s and expect a lil’ gruff conversation when ordering delivery and asking too many questions.

My entire family has loved Ledo’s Pizza since the day they opened in 1961. I was 8 years old. We were only allowed pizza and soft drinks on hose rare occasions when my parents went out and we had babysitters(my older cousins usually). We moved from Countryside to Florida in 1969 but we never forgot Ledo’s. Every time I was in the area I would always bring back pizzas on the plane for my family members. Besides the sausage pizza we also loved the Italian Beef sandwiches. In 2007 and 2008 my mom was dying of lung cancer. It was tough to get her to eat anything. I was in Chicago visiting friends and had Ledo’s par freeze three pizzas and put on dry ice and I flew back with them. My mom was thrilled and coveted each slice. Us four kids were able to convince her to let us have a slice apiece. I hate seeing all the negative reviews. At least most of the reviews, even the negative ones, still say the pizza rocks. I would still be finding ways to get the pizza to me here in Tampa but I have Celiac Disease and can’t eat wheat flour. I would probably be willing to pay the consequences if a Ledo’s pizza was in front of me right now!

I realized that I owed Ledo’s an update. They remain the place that I always come back to. It also seems like they’ve gone back to their original recipes and the pizza is more like I remember it. Still busy on most nights with lots of teams and families. Carry out is efficient and they have great delivery(within their delivery zone).

Hour and ½ for delivery on a Wednesday night. 15 minutes pick up. At 8:50. Ridiculous.

Worst service ever. Would not recommend to anyone. Ordered 2 pizzas, received 1st after 45 minutes, 2nd after an hour. It was a birthday– it was ruined. Food was not good, service terrible– skip it !!!

A Self service restaurant? You wait your own table by seating yourself, placing your own order and getting your own drinks. There is no signage trekking you to do this either. After you seat yourself you patiently wait for a server that never arrives. The pizza was thin crust, decent sauce and the sausage was flavorful. Decent pizza just don’t go there expecting sit down service.

We have been going to Ledos pizza for years and years. Moved to Seattle 23 years ago where they know nothing about pizza. Luckily my mom lives here so we have a great reason to come back. When we get off the plane the first thing we do is call my mom and she places the pizza order. When we get to my moms the delivery truck is here. If we are here for a week we get in 2 orders. Pizza is always hot when it arrives. Love everything about it!!! Don’t ever go away!!!

Killer Pizza! The steak sandwich is a must try. Super salad bar with homemade dressing as well! Highly recommended!

Fantastic pizza, best in the area. I’m somewhat biased as I grew up on it but all these years later I can’t find a better thin crust in the area, including Chicago where I lived for a long time. Have a variety of friends and neighbors that aren’t native to the area who share the same sentiment. Why order from anywhere else? Traditional thin crust is great, buffalo chicken pizza is every bit as good and the Italian beef sandwich is top notch. Looking forward to trying the Italian beef pizza one day soon.

After leaving my moms house this past mothers-day 5÷10÷15 the first thing I did was order a Ledo’s pizza. Nothing fancy Lg cheese/sausage, ok be ready in 25minutes, Yes it was. Have been going here since the late 70’s early 80’s. Not a thin cracker crust not a thick heavy crust just thick enough to make two meals out of Yum. Ledo’s was a regular stop when the kids were young and we were coming home from that direction, they still talk about it 20 yrs+ later. Same great tasting pizza I recall from decades ago. Never a bad experience. Sure they do get busy and can be a madhouse just like any good restaurant. For being quality, consistent and a survivor I’ll give them 5 stars.

This place is super busy and popular. I hear it only gets worse during baseball season. Their pizza sauce is tasty & the sausage they add to it isn’t salty. The staff was nice & fast(given the level of busyness). Their appetizers looked pretty good. They also offer alcoholic beverages, kids games & salad buffet. I would go back & try more items next time

Ledo’s has everything a pizza must have. Good sausage, good gooey cheese, a thin but crispy crust and grease. I’m not a deep dish or thick crust kind of person so Ledo’s fits the bill for me. Their Valentine’s Day heart shaped pizza — WAYCOOL.

This place is a zoo! Pizza is good, super thin crust, but if we ever want pizza from here, it will be picked up, not dine in. Hosts don’t tell you that you have to order at the bar yourself, then wait for your number to be called. If you don’t know how this place works, you could be sitting for a while, wondering why no one is helping you. If you go during a busy period, get ready to wait and wait and wait and wait. Heaven forbid your order is wrong — more waiting and waiting and waiting. Sides are fine — salad was good, but had to order it «to go» cause it’s not listed on there as an option when dining in — only the salad bar, which I refuse to do. Kids running all over the place, music is loud, TVs on, but you can’t hear them… just insane. Too bad they can’t control the environment better cause the pizza is really tasty — but there are a gazillion other places where the pizza is good, and the atmosphere is less hectic.

I have been coming here since as long as I can remember and my parents also used to come here when they were younger Ledo’s is your old fashioned neighborhood pizza pub. You placed your order at the counter with your name and then you go find a table and booth and wait for your name to be called. Ledo’s is well known for their thin, chewy pizza which can be salty at times. My issue is that the sauce isn’t proportionate with everything on the pizza, meaning very little sauce. It’s a good neighborhood joint, but I wouldn’t drive too far for their pizza

EDIT: Update– the manager did end up calling us. They viewed the security footage and said we are owed ten dollars. I didn’t ask what happened. They are going to mail us a check. Here’s the TL;DR: This place short changed us 10 bucks when my wife got a beer from the bar. They were utterly helpless in finding a solution. My wife went up to the bar at Ledo’s with a $ 20 bill. She’s absolutely sure it was a 20 because she just counted the money in my wallet. I saw it was a 20 as well. She got a beer that was $ 4.25. The bar tender handed her a 5 in change. She was like, «and the 10?» The bartender claimed she initially gave her a 10. Then took her name and phone number, and said«We’ll call you once we count the drawer, if it’s $ 10 over you can come back and get the 10.» Nice customer service, right? Like, if it’s $ 10 over, it’s on us to drive all the way back and get our money? We ended up staying until they counted the drawer anyways, the manager then said the drawer was 15 cents over.(?) He said they would review security footage and call us if they saw the bartender pocket the money. I’m not holding my breath, I’m sure this was just said to placate us. I’m not sure the bartender stole the money, but where did it go? A bartender that randomly loses money is pretty crappy, the place wasn’t even crowded and it wasn’t late. My wife ordered one beer, not complicated. So, in short, thanks for stealing $ 10 from us, Ledo’s. Your pizza sucks anyways, and this place was pretty scuzzy, dark and dank inside. They don’t even have table service and you have to wait for your pizza order number to be called over this loudspeaker in the ceiling. McDonalds has better ambiance. Hey, at least with the internet I can warn others about these shady practices. If they had been cool and comped some drinks, a pizza, ANYTHING at all I wouldn’t be writing this.

I’ve been going to Ledo’s since I was a little kid and we even had my HS graduation party there. It was always the best pizza. We stopped by for dinner and it was completely empty and there was a sign that said«please seat yourself». So we did. After sitting for 10 minutes, with my extremely pregnant wife, we walked up to the counter where there were two girls chatting and asked if we were going to get a server. Mind you, these ladies could see us sitting in an empty restaurant the entire time we were there. They said«no, we don’t do that, you order up here.» I pointed at the sign that just says«seat yourself». There is no indication that we are suppose to order before sitting. We couldn’t follow the leader since there was no one in the place. And it’s clear now why. We left without ordering. We will never go back. If there was an option to score zero, I would have because that’s the service we got. A restaurant with no servers and a staff that doesn’t care about customers. Good luck.

For piping hot pizza, order a full one. I had some good pizza that way. If you come to lunch, the by the slice special may not impress you much. Seems like it just sits out. Salad bar, nothing to write home. Pizza hut down the street may have a better salad bar and pizza slices for lunch.

My favorite local pizza place! They serve such delicious hot, fresh pizzas that have quality ingredients on them. They will cost you a little more than the chain competitors, but there is nothing like it, in my opinion. It’s been our family tradition to order here on Christmas Eve, so it’s a really big deal when we get the pizza home! I’ve been told I have a «hollow leg» for pizza, and can definitely put away a lot of this. Sauce has a good balance, not overly sweet. Cheese is gooey, but a little greasy(makes it better), and they don’t skimp on toppings for whatever you order. Dining in is fun too. Their salad bar is a little sad looking, only with ice berg lettuce, but there are a decent amount of toppings for salad. I skip it every time. They have a bar, and arcade games to keep the kids occupied. They announce your order over the microphone when ready, so keep an ear open. Pizzas do take some time, but at least you know its not something that was sitting around until you ordered it! Pizza bread, mozzarella sticks are pretty good too. They have all sorts of other Italian dishes and sandwiches too that sound good, but I always just go for the pizza. This place stays in the heart of those who are local, and commands loyalty. And i’m one of the loyal followers!
